How to redeploy workspace in 11.1.2

When I go to redeploy workspace through the configuration utility, it already has a green check mark and I am unable to redeploy it, I am able to redeploy Shared Services though even though it has a green checkmark. How to I redeploy workspace? Thank you.

Did you actually try to look at the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Installation and Configuration Guide for instructions as suggested ?
To redeploy a component, run the configurator that can be found in the start menu under Foundation Services. Then select "modify an existing instance". Then for Calculation manager, check the box "Deploy to application server".

By using out of box functionality this is not possible So you have to write code to
concatenate the fields.
I think using SharePoint designer you can concatenate same type of fields not two different type of fields.
Please cross check on this.

You can use weblogic.Deployer or WLST or ANT script to redeploy your application on the server.

In SharePoint Designer 2010, we could not save the workflow as a template directly except the reusable workflow.
However, in SharePoint Designer 2013, we can just save all the types workflow as a template, then you can import the workflow into the new environment.

In SharePoint Designer 2013, every time we publish the workflow, we would get a newer version workflow, and the old workflow version would be overwritten.

Can you please let me know how to redeploy planning application using EPM system Configurator.
I am applying a patch to ver 11.1.2.0 and i need to redeploy the planning app as one of the steps.

Run the EPM configurator, expand planning and select "Deploy to Application Server", if it is a distributed environment and planning is not on the same server as the WebLogic admin server you will need to start the Admin Server

Help !! how to redeploy only an ejb using weblogic.Deployer ?

Hi everyone, how to redeploy only one ejb (not the entire application) using weblogic.Deployer ? I executed the following command and getting wiered error !!! :
java weblogic.Deployer -adminurl http://myadmin:7000 -username system -password weblogic -name myApp.ear -activate -targets testEJB.jar@jytServer -source myApp.ear
I am getting the following error :
weblogic.management.ApplicationException:
[J2EE:160043]Missing deployment descriptor "META-INF/application.xml" at myApp.ear".
The ear file very much contains the application.xml under META-INF directory and in the application.xml, there is an entry for myBean.jar.
However if i try the following command, it will redeploy the EJB but it will deploy it as a separate application :
java weblogic.Deployer -adminurl http://myadmin:10720 -username system -password weblogic -targets jytServer deploy testEJB.jar
But I want to redeploly it as a part of .ear application.
I would highly appreicate your help. (assume that admin console access is denied and i will have to use weblogic.Deployer to redeploy).

I made some changes for null field validation to validateData() method which
is in wlFormValidate.js file.
If I only deploy the application, I could see the changes made to payload-
body.jsp, but the changes made to the javascript file (wlFormValidate.js)
are not seen.
What shall I do or what are the exact steps I should perform,
so that I could see the changes made to the javascript file ?

I'm writing up a script to change the password for a connection pool and want to know how to redeploy the connection pool once the password has been changed. To change the password I'm using:
java -cp .;weblogic.jar weblogic.Admin -url t3://adminServer:7000 -username weblogic -password weblogic SET -mbean mydomain:Name=MyConnPool,Type=JDBCConnectionPool -property Password "password"
which works fine.
I've read that just by setting the target, the pool redeploys itself but after using the following command, I still have to go into the console and undeploy/redeploy the pool for the password change to become visible:
java -cp .;weblogic.jar weblogic.Admin -url t3://adminServer:7000 -username weblogic -password weblogic INVOKE -mbean mydomain:Name=MyConnPool,Type=JDBCConnectionPool -method addTarget "mydomain:Name=MyCluster,Type=Cluster"
What am I missing to mimick unchecking the Cluster checkbox, rechecking it and clicking the Apply button in the console?
Another quick question too ... where can i get the list of methods that INVOKE supports for a JDBCConnectionPool MBean? I was hoping there'd be something really obvious like deploy/undeploy there but no joy

Hello All , I use Hyprerion 9.3.1 and Now I working under installing Planning on Solaris. After Installing Planning I must install workspace to use Planning.
I have problems during insallation Workspace I can't autodeploy workspace on Tomcat ((((

I can autodeploy Planning on Tomcat for Solaris but Workspace not auto deployed
How I can resolve this issue? I have only two servers with Solaris 9 and RHEL 4
May be I have to install Workspace on RHEL?

We have recently installed 9.3.1 (although not Planning) using Sun's Java Enterprise Server (JES), also suggest you upgrade to Solaris 10.

How to delete workspaces

I was experimenting with workspaces. So, I ended up with more than I now need.
I can't find anywhere in help on how to delete a workspace.
I did not see anything helpful in Preferences.
If I delete a workspace within DOS, it comes back when I restart FlexBuilder3.
Is there a way to delete a workspace?

How to Unlock Workspace from Admin Interface

I used the admin interface to lock a workspace. Now I want to unlock the workspace, but cannot find an UNLOCK command in the Manage Workspaces menu.
How to do this? Should I unlock the users one by one and make the applications available?

Hi Francisco,
Yes, that is the only way to "unlock" the workspace. Unlock users and change the application status. If you just set the application status as "Available" then Developer's Toolbar will not be visible while running the application. Set the status to "Available with Edit links" to see the Developer's toolbar while running the application.

How to deploy workspace(EPM11) on oc4j_extended_101300

I did setup follow this document

And I success to deploy SharedServices...
But I couldn`t to deploy Workspace services...
HPM`s version is 9.5(EPM11) and Oracle Application Server(OAS) is oc4j_extended_101300
this is my step.
1. config oc4j
I added sentences
set ORACLE_HOME=D:\oc4j_extended_101300
set J2EE_HOME=%ORACLE_HOME%\j2ee\home
set JAVA_HOME=E:\jdk1.5.0_12
set HYPERION_HOME=C:\Hyperion
rem Any persistent arguments to specify at the JVM level can be set here
rem By default this will be read from the operating system environment
set JVMARGS=%OC4J_JVM_ARGS% -DHYPERION_HOME=C:\HYPERION -Dhyperion.home=C:\HYPERION
2. restart OC4J
3. Deploy workspace.war
connect -> http://localhost:8888/em/
click 'Application'
click 'Deployment'
select file 'C:\Hyperion\products\Foundation\workspace\InstallableApps\workspace_unconfiged.war'
I didn`t import any classes.
4. Test
connect -> http://localhost:8888/workspace/index.jsp
this page is blank....and....
http://localhost:8888/workspace <-- I can`t view this page`s images.
Let me know how can I do for deployment more~
