How to redownload, if possible, Adobe MS CS5 Student Edition?

I am a student at Full Sail University, and they have generously provided me with the whole Adobe Master Suite CS5. Up until recently, my laptop went haywire and deleted everything I have on my laptop. I went to my account on adobe, and it shows the serial number to the product the school gave me. What I'm trying to say is if there is any way that I can download CS5 Student Edition to my laptop? On a side note, I have lost the CD's that my school sent.

Adobe CS5 Student Edition won't install

I have the Adobe CS5 Student Edition which I purchased in 2009. When I try to open Photoshop it said there is not enough space on my scratch disk. I have uninstalled CS5 to try to fix this and would now like to re-install it however the serial number registered in my account details of my Adobe account is not recognised. Can somebody please help.

CS4 - CS5 Student Edition Upgrade?

I've done a forum search on this subject, if it is possible to upgrade a student edition license, and it seems to be a few contriversing answers every time it is asked. So i'm gonna ask one more time myself to see if anyone has the definate answer yet. When CS5 is shipped, will it be possible to upgrade from CS4 Production Premium Student Edition to CS5 Production Premium Student Edition? Or do i have to buy it again as the new version? Also a minor question that i'm sure wont be an issue but just checking, with CS5 installed as well as CS4, CS4 will still run too correct?

It seems that the upgrade from CS4 to CS5 (I have Design Premium) is only $US50 more than the new student edition; so, even if you essentially were unable to prove or meet eligibility requirements, it would not be that big of a problem in terms of cash. I think the bigger question is if your institution provides software vouchers; I was able to obtain one for CS4, and am thinking I should get one for CS5 as my courses are going to utilize the new software beginning next quarter. Of course, this is a question for the gamit of acadamic and financial counselors who would work this out for you, but something to consider if you're seriously worried about the out-of-pocket expense. On a positive note, if you have to pay for it yourself, it can be used as a tax deduction come filing season.

Acrobat 9 serial missing (CS5 Student Edition)

I did not install Acrobat 9 then (only the Suite) , and now that I try to do so I am missing a Serial for it.
Acrobat says the Serial for the Suite isnt working.

Can I upgrade from a CS5 Student Edition (PC) to CS6 Mac?

Hi, quick question:
Some time ago I bought CS5 (student edition) for my PC. I've never opened the box, so it's uninstalled.
I'm getting a mac (it arrived today actually) and I'd like to be able to install photoshop on this. Since it's a different platform, can I upgrade from my current version without having to buy the full-priced CS6 for mac?
Basically, could I: install my student edition on my pc, get the student verification code (I'm still a student), and then not just go through the upgrade process to CS6 but also cross platforms from pc to mac?
OR: could I install the pc version, upgrade to CS6 (still pc) then crossgrade that?
Would it be the same cost?

There are no upgrades for student versions. If you are still eligible you simply buy a new CS6 license for Mac.

I have a video chat application that is done on Adobe Flash CS5.5. I had the problem of "echo" so I wanted to use "getEnhancedMicrophone()". When I replaced "getMicrophone()" with "getEnhancedMicrophone()", Adobe Flash CS5.5 Professional didn't recognize it. I knew I need Flex, so I installed Flash Builder. And then got lost. What I simply want is just import my "FLA" file (or if I need to convert it to something else using a specific tool, let me know.. I have Adobe Flash CS5.5 Professional and can install other required applications if needed) done on Adobe CS5.5, into Flash Builder, and then "support Flex" so that I compile with the flash-version argument required.
I am totally new to MXML and Flash Builder, and even Flex. I don't know how to import a FLA and add "Flex" libraries into it simply to make "getEnhancedMicrophone()" work without the need to recreate the whole thing on Flash Builder. Can you guide me please? The output is for a web SWF file, not a desktop application.

I have the same problem here. I'm trying to do a stick animation on cs6, but to be more precise, i need to actually draw with a larger brush size. I suggest using the pen tool with the smooth option on. You can't see exactly where the stroke will be, but its better than nothing, and it more or less acts like the brush anyway.

How to uninstall and reinstall Adobe InDesign CS5?

My Adobe InDesign CS5 stopped opening properly. Upon startup all the menu items were grayed out and unaccessible. Adobe Chat support advised me to uninstall and reinstall CS5.
My other Adobe programs are working fine. (CS5 photoshop, illustrator, acrobat, etc.)
MacBook Pro OS10.9.3
Anyone know how to uninstall and reinstall CS5?

There is a quick and easy method for doing this using the keyboard: close and relaunch InDesign, and IMMEDIATELY hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or Cmd + Ctrl + Opt + Shift (Mac), and respond in the affirmative to the dialog asking if you really want to replace the preferences. There are two downsides to this method, however. First, you must be extremely fast on the keyboard (if you don’t see the confirmation prompt, you were too slow), and second, anytime you replace the preferences you will lose most program customizations, and using the keyboard method leaves you with no backup to restore them when the problem turns out to be something else.
My preferred method is to CLOSE INDESIGN and do a “manual” prefs replacement, which consists of finding and renaming the two files which make up the preference set: InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData. BOTH of these files should be replaced at the same time. You can delete them, but renaming or moving them will give you the opportunity to copy them back in the event that new prefs doesn’t cure your issue. When you restart ID, the program will look for these two files, and when they are not found, a new default set will be written.

How do I get my Adobe Premiere CS5.5 workspace to work

Upgrade to Adobe CC with the conditions of the "special offer" (35,69€ / year) with an old registered CS5 Students Edition?

I just tried to update my Adobe Creative Suite to Adobe CC. I have a registered CS5.5 Master Collection from 2012 that I bought while studying (Students Edition).
On the Adobe Website I can choose the CC as a special offer and a price o 35,69€ per year. When my Serial is checked they say that I'm not allowed to use this special offer.
Does anybody know what's the problem? Can't I use the special offer with the old serial of a student's edition?

I have the Cs5 student Edition of Adobe Web and design, do I have to upgrade to a full?

I'm close to graduating and I plan on getting CS6 before I graduate so I can get a student discount, but will I have to upgrade to a full verson of the sofeware once I gradate? You can continue to use your Student Edition after your graduation for any legal purpose. As a student you can purchase a new version of CS 6 Student programs. There is no upgrade from one student edition to another. You can of course, upgrade a student version to a non-student version, but the cost for doing so is ussually much more expensive than a new student version, so take advantage of your student status while you can.

I also got some Information about an Upgrade to the CS5 Version. They wrote i can apply for a free Upgrade. But nowhere i found some more Information how to get this free Upgrade. What i have to do? Do somebody knows how to get this?
