How to reflect consignment stock in the planning book

Hi
I have an issue were I am trying to pull through unrestricted consignment stock to the SNP planning book.
I am only able to view the unrestricted stock, and not the unrestricted consignment stock when I am working in the planning book.
However I am able to see the unrestricted consignment stock in the Product View in APO
(/SAPAPO/RRP3 - Product View).
The key figure we use to reflect physical stock is ATD Receipts in the planning book.
I have included the category type CD in the category group ATR, which is assigned to this key figure ATD Receipts
Please can you assist me with this issue.

It is not enough if you associate the category group with the key figure used to display stock. Go to the location for which you are trying to display stock and in the SNP tab stock category group field give this category group. It should work.
The opening stock gets displayed based on the category group assigned in the location master and if the category group in loc master is blank then all stock categories in the default category group ST1 will get displayed

I would like to display Consignent stock category CD in Planning Book.
I am using PHYSICAL_STOCK( u2018productu2019 ; u2018locationu2019 ; version ; u2018categoryu2019 ; u2018categoryu2019 ; u2026) returns the stock of a location product of one or more categories.
Based on the above macro fnction i can able to get Plant Stock but for consignment stock this function is not working.
How to achieve this.Please suggest me if we have any other macro function to get consignent stock.
Or i need to create a new fiunction for this.

I recommend that you use PHYS_STOCK_LOCPRODS instead of the PHYSICAL_STOCK function because the PHYSICAL_STOCK function doesn't show any value in the aggregated level.
Here are the steps:
1) Create a custom category group called ZCD. You need to do this because the PHYS_STOCK_LOCPRODS function only takes category group as one of its parameters.
2) Assign CD (consign stock category) to ZCD category group.
3) Use this in your macro: PHYS_STOCK_LOCPRODS( 'ZCD' ; ACT_VERSION ; ACT_LOCATION_PRODUCTS( ) )
P.S. Syntax-wise, make sure that you separate it into two lines and have all the spaces in the right place
By the way, you cannot simply assign ZCD to a key figure in the planning area key figure details section and expect it to show up in the planning book. You have to use the function to get the consignment stock value.

How to pick consignment stock @ FIFO method when involved multiple vendors

Dear Guru s ,
I need some information/ logic on how to pick consignment stock @ FIFO method when involved multiple vendors (who supplies consignement goods) .
1)We have tried to determine the vendor @ FIFO method from the material document date & time with 101 K mvmt type
2) when we check MSEG table we are unable to get the current stock updates .For example Vendor A stock is showing 60 KG in MMBE , but MSEG is showing only 45 KG for the same vendor & storage location .
Can anyone provide me the logic / info on the same.

MMBE will show you total stock, your logic is correct , you can go for MSEG , but you need to add opening stock for that material for the period.
Suppose you are looking for report between 2nd august to 10 august , then you need to take opening stock on 2nd august and then add all goods receipt( 101 k) between 2nd to 10th and you will get correct stock on 10th ( same as MMBE)
Note : I am assuming that current date is 10th august. If you want to see stocks on particular date then go for MB5B.
Now as per your requirement , you can identify goods movement based on FIFO , follow same logic , pick time and date from MSEG for 101 k movement type.

Movement type to consume customer consignment stock in the delivery plant ?

Need MM Functional expertise help to resolve the issue
They are two plants associated
1. Deliverying Plant (Customer Consignment Stock) ---> FPP
2. Recieving Plant (Vendor Consignment Stock) ---> FNT
Recieving Plant (FNT) will send a consignment Purchase Order (P0) to the delivery plant (FPP), which
inturn delivery plant FPP will do post goods Issue (PGI) with movement type 635 {635 --> moves
the stock from sloc 1000 to customer consignment stock}
Once movement type 635 is completed, it will go customer consignment stock in the delivery plant FPP
So Far OK..
Recieving plant (FNT) will recieve the stock against movement type 101K into Consignment location, followed
by movement type 411k (to move the stock from consignment location to OWN location). Once its under OWN location,
the inventory can be utilized for service orders (261)
Issue:
Not able to find a movement type to consume customer consignment stock in the delivery plant FPP
Note: 1. 411k is used to consume vendor consignment stock
2. Both plants are in different company codes
Following OSS notes has been checked, but none is addressing the issue
1. 520024
2. 610896
3. 362032
4. 13006

Customer consignment stock is consumed physically by a customer, the customer reports to you how much he has consumed, the delivering plant creates then a consignment order for consignment issue in the delivering plant, followed by converting it to a delivery and posting goods issue.

How to deactivate the Smoothing Factor button in the planning book.

To deactivate the 'Activate Smoothing' and 'Change smoothing Factor' button form planning book you need to
- Switch to Graphic mode in Planning book
- Goto design screen by using 'Design' button near graphic button
- From top menu 'Settings' dropdown select Configure toolbar or 'Switch Icons On/Off
Here you can restrict the icons appearing in the planning books.

SNP Time horizon in the planning book

Hello all,
We have weekly buckets in our SNP planning book right now. Everytime one enters the planning book, the time horizon starts only from the current week.
We want to change this to have the past week also in the time horizon.
Could any of you tell me how this can be done and if it can be done, will there be any problem in seeing data in the past week?

Addition to what Ulises Marín suggested, if your requirement is to see 1 week in past or more than that, then create your own Time bucket profile and assign it to data view in past.
This can be done through tcode: /SAPAPO/SDP8B.
Tcode for to create Time bucket profile is /SAPAPO/TR30.

Upload data from Excel to the Planning Book

We are on APO 5.1. We have APO DP at the moment. I wanted to test upload of data from Excel to the planning book. I have tried several times. I have been unable to see any changed data in the planning. I do not get ANY errors during the upload. But I cannot see any changes that I made in the excel in the planning book. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. These are the step that I follow.
1. Go to planning book.
2. Short list only one key figure e.g Customer Forecast.
3. Go into Details All mode.
4. Download the file using the "Prepare File for Upload" option.
5. Open the saved Excel.
6. Change the values in the excel , save and close.
7. Upload the excel into the planning book using the upload file option.
I do not get any errors during all these steps. However, when I check to see if the values have been updated, the changes made in the excel are not updated in the planning book.

Instead of selecting one key figure in data view, please select all key figures of the planning book and then try all the steps which you have carried out.

How to Retrieve Totals in APO DP Planning Book

Hi All
I want to see the totals coulmns in planning book data view. I know I can check the totals from settings> row totals
But this row totals disappears as soon as I log out of the planning book. Is there any way this row totals is permanently attached to the data view?
Is there any BAPI, I can use to read the KF totals?
Any pointers on this will be highly helpful

Dear Vijay,
I doubt if there is any standard settings or configuration is there for this functionality. What i can suggest is either you add seperate key-figures for displaying total of all the periods and write macros to populate key-figure values in it. The second option is initiallize the key-figures for an extra bucket which is really required by the business and populate the total in that extra period by writing macro. By second method there will not be extra key figure required. Apart from writing macros you can use BAPIs for reading the key-figure and adding it and finally populating the key figure values in the key-figure but this is not required as macro is sufficient for populating the key-figure in both the cases.
Please let me know if you think any other better way of doing it.

Days supply is not populating in the planning book

When I select multiple products in the planning book, the value is papulating as total but if I drilled down to individual product then days supply(Key figure) values are not populating in the planning book.

From what you mention it looks like you do not use the standard SNP Planning Book. Was the macro inactive so that you had to regenerate?
When you move a macro from workbench to level change it should not require to be regerated.
Please check if following macros are active (green) under level change in sequence
Determine Workdays
Layout Attributes
Drill (Level)
Else compare the macros and sequence in the standard SNP Planning Book with the Planning Book you are using.
The Day's Supply (All: Day's Supply) and Determine workdays macros are essential for populating the day's supply keyfigure.

Remove Fixing of cells while exiting the planning book

HI Gurus,
i am looking for a stnadard sap functionality to delete the fixing of cells done by the planners every month. is there any stnadrd macro function which i can use to delete the fixing of cells? the cells may be fixed at an aggregate level or at lowest level of the selection.
is there any standard macro which i can use?

that works. however i cannot make the key figure zero because some of my other KFs are getting disaggregated on that specifc KF.
is there any other way to delete the fixing of the cells before exiting the planning book or using a standard function in any macro?

Can you check if ''Selection profile" is checked in the ''view selection" option in the top left of the planning book for the user?
you can choose the hide/show the Selection profile tab, planning book/data view and macros tab using that function.
