I know that i could connect to flex using c# and that could
be done through webservices
my question is: how I could register these webservices... do
I need to install something to have these webservices
what i need to do... is sending some data from my website to
the flex webservices so flex will display these values in a chart

I think "Tim Rothenberg" misled you. You can use your old apple ID to download past purchases, and it is very easy. However, it looks like you want to transfer your purchases to your current apple ID, but that isn't possible.

In the sender side i.e. in SAP system you can use IDoc/RFC/Proxy to push the data to XI.
IDoc supports only Async communication and in Sync case performace is good using Proxy.
In the receiver side you can use Java Proxy to connect to the Java application or you can even bulid a webservice over the Java/.Net application and use SOAP adapter to post data to it.

How to reduce the number of Remote Gateway connections from one server

Hi ,
We have an XI 3.0 prod system which is being flooded every month end by the invoices generated in our ERP system and occupying all the gateway connections, what I see is that all the remote gateway connections are being established by our ERP server and still there are many requests waiting at the ERP server and failing.
When we ran the same in our test landscape, the invoices are getting transferred to XI with out any problems, the remote gateway connections are free even when the invocie Volumes transferred are the same in Prod and Test servers.
we are not considerint to Increasing the rdisp/max_gateways as the volumes of invocies transferred are really huge and in one of the test, we observed that when 40 invocies are transferred from ERP, it occupied 40 Remote gateway connections in our XI prod
We are looking for the option similar to our test system of transferring many requests from one connection. Is there any such specific option?

Dear Santhi,
every gateway establishes only one connection to another gateway. If there are that many gateway/gateway connections, then you are probably connecting from more than one instance. You could circumvent this, if you use gateway options in the RFC destination being used, as this will force all outgoing RFC calls to go through a single gateway. This will then mean that the system has a single point of access.

How to register an event for LV event structure from WinApi "PostMessage"?

Hello experts,
I'm using a standard cardreader (RS232/USB) which I access via the manufacturer's API, this works fine so far. However I don't want to poll the status of the reader all the time. The cardreader sends windows messages using the WIN API "PostMessage" as soon as there is a status change (insert card into reader, reader disconnect etc.)
Now how can I use this fact to get an event for my event structure? Any ideas?

This may be tricky but you could use the Windows Message Queue Library example to get the messages from the USB drivers;

How to register BIS on my 8800 after switching from O2 to KPN?

I used my 8800 BIS with the SIM card of O2 and I registered BIS service on O2email site, with filling in my PIN and IMEI.
Now my company has switched the service provider from O2 to KPN, i.e. I have a new SIM card of KPN now.
However, I can't log on the O2email account as the service was cancelled. I can't registered in KPN BIS account due to my device was already registered to another account.
How to cancel the device registration from O2 to KPN? Thanks.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
You have to get O2 and KPN to work this out. O2 has to completely release your PIN before KPN can register your PIN with their BIS. Keep trying to contact them -- be sure to ask to be escalated to their BB support folks...the first level folks so often don't understand how it all has to work, but the BB folks (at O2) should know...you just have to get to them.

had adobe acrobat 8 installed on windows xp, then unistalled it and installed it on windows 7. did not deactivate on windows xp. then i installed on windows xp again but im not able to register now, let alone trying to deactivate.

The deactivation option can be accessed under the 'Help' menu of Acrobat.
If you are able to install and activate Acrobat 8 on Windows 7 then you need not try to deactivate on Windows Xp.
A retail license is good to be used on 2 computers.

Unfortuntly, this seems like a case of bad commuication by Adobe and the Flex team. If notable community experts get the impression of closed doors, then *certainly* the rest of us get this impression as well.

Im a solid dev, and not an expert but I can contribute in things such as testing and low level optimization; But, the Adobe open source site is a galactic disaster and discourages me from getting invloved. It has so many webpages that just go around in circles - filled with text that is verbose, this frustrates me to a great deal. As opposed to somehting straight foreward like:

Everything is here and easily notable. I avoid the seamingly endless pages and confusion. Next when I finially do get to Flex SVN, this trunk. is nothing like I have seen.what IS all this stuff and where do I go to learn about it? There are countless subfolders filled with things I vaguely understand and if I want to learn what it is. where do I go? Is there even a src folder?

We have another idea that were bouncing around that I hope to share in a week or two but wont get into now.

Wow, thanks for your response. This is great. I now understand that I had a combination of prejudice and ignorance when regarding Adobe Open Source. Perhaps my ignorance on these particulars is something that other devs encounter ( that whole perception thing ). I have chatted with people who consider the Flex SDK and Flex Builder... not the same... but fused together so much that it'd be just crazy to try and use one with out the other When I mention using Flex without Flex Builder.... people get that glazed over look in their eyes....( FYI I'm a FDT man, but am keeping a close eye on the new Flex Builder ) I'll use Zend as an example ( it's the best that I can come up with ) but I feel like there is a difference between the open source framework and Zend Studio ( commercial software ). Anyway, I'm really excited about how you've responded to all this. I have more ideas, but Ill sit on them and think it through and get ready for next weeks meeting. Did you add or change your credit card details on your iTunes account when downloading them ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

How to register artists feat. other artists without multiple posts? If someone understand waht I mean.
For example, in the list of artist I have "Missy Elliot" but on several songs
she sings with someone i.e "Missy Elliot feat. Bill Clinton" than thats going to be another post in the artist list.
Are there any trick to get those posts to register under just one category and still keep the "featuring" information in the artist category.
