How to register new interface implementation?

Hi,
I have the following problem:
There exists a self written webdynpro application. This application uses a Java Interface. The administrator of the application can add new functionality to the application by adding a new line to a table. He inserts the name of a class which implements that Java interface. This class has the new functionality.
For each interface implementation the user of the webdynpro gets a value into a list. He can select an entry from this list. This value tells to the application that it has to create an object from the related java interface implementation.
Now I wonder how I can tell to the webdynpro application that it knows all interface implementations which will come in the future? If I do not "register" or reference the new interface implementations, then I think the webdynpro application has ClassNotFound errors.
The developers should make there own projects for each interface implementation an deploy them. But what must be done, that the webdynpro application knows them?
Can you please give me some suggestions?

I have written a new bom and backend object.I registered the new objects as per the dev and ext guide for isa5.0.The customer version of backendobject-config.xml and bom-config.xml look like this after my changes.But still I am not able to call the backend object.

I wasalso in the same boat. We are on SP15 but I was not able to see CRM2007 in the product list. I implemented following note 1159756 and now I can see the CRM2007. Now I want to upload SAP Best practices document. Right now I don't see it, do I have to upload them manually ?

How to register own Transport implementation inside java

Hi,
My application is running on a shared host where I do not have admin rights.
I have written my own implementation of the SMTP Transport.
In order to be able to use it, it appears that I have to register it in
$JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/javamail.providers
with the line
protocol=smtp_my; type=transport; class=com.my.app.mail.SMTPTransportMy; vendor=Me;
this, is however not possible in all environments I want to run my app.
Is there a way to do it inside java similar to the MailcapCommandMap approach?
Any hints would be highly appreciated!

New computer won't take songs from ipod, how to register new computer?

My hard drive crashed, I had to buy a new one. All my songs were on my old drive. Except for what is in my ipod. I bought a new hard drive, but haven't had the $$ to have files removed from old drive yet. Installed itunes onto new drive, plugged in Ipod and it says it will either replace all 400 songs from my pod with the 1 song in my new itunes, or it can only take itunes purchased songs from my pod, which is only about 5% of my songs on my pod at the moment. How do I register my new pod to my new harddrive??? Help!

Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. The transfer of content sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

I replaced my old iphone with a new iphone and cannot register it with my existing itunes account. I discovered this when I noticed that my calendars weren't syncing. Do I need to open a new itunes account or can I change the device/iphone in my exisitng itunes account? iCloud does not store messages for you to see/access at icloud.com. It does back up messages so you can restore your iPhone if it ever needs to be reset to factory default. A backup is an image of all your data on the iPhone, and if you delete some messages, then they won't be part of any further backups.
If two people use the same iCloud account, then their devices are kept in sync, just like a single user's multiple devices are kept in sync. It's usually a good idea to have separate accounts for two people, since it's rarely the case that they want each phone to be an exact replica of the other.
Your iphone syncs contacts, events, camera roll, and many other things without the use of a computer.

How to register a new list of JDBC driver to appear on ODI?
exam :
When I defined a new master repository that resides on MSSQL 2005
I already had sqljdbc.jar (This is mssql2005 jdbc driver) on the ..\oracledi\drivers
But when I browsed jdbc driver list it will not appear any new driver we just put them in the driver folder.
I knew this is a common issue.
So I need to manually define a driver class and url to match exactly with the jdbc document say for sqljdbc.jar
which is
Driver Class : com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
URL : jdbc:sqlserver://localhost:1084
I think that the driver list will have to store in somewhere in the xml files OR some records on the master repository database.
But where ?
Because I saw the new list driver (Microsoft SQL Server 2005 driver for JDBC) on the vmware image that I had (actually it is ODI Training workshop VMware Image).
But I don't know where to looks.
Here are some proof that they actually appear in the driver list

Then, its impossible add new drivers into ODI ? So, if I need to add a driver and this exist in Oracle list drivers, what can I do in this case ?
I have problems with Oracle JDBC driver in ODI. When I try generate web services the "Not suitable driver" message is shown. In Design, module part, when i generate web service i have the "*name of data source*" field and I put into "oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver". Ok, this isn´t a correct sintax, then I read in this manual "*note that the name of the data source must be consistent with the entries in context.xml and web.xml, prefixed with:java:/comp/env/*".

you said me only necessary to change the web.xml and context.xml is only necessary if I use Tomcat. Then, how to discover a correct sintax to put into this field and generate my web service ?

For SharePoint Online, the docicon.xml is stored in the SharePoint online Server and there is no such Web API could modify the xml file directly, so there is no easy way to achieve it.
As a workaround, you can add some JavaScript and Jquery in the master page to modify the file type icon to the new one.

How to register a new MacBook using info I entered in the startup program?

I just opened my new MacBook for the first time and the startup program walked me through entering a bunch of information and connecting to my old iBook to transfer data. And the end of the process it tried to register me with Apple but my internet connection was down and it told me I couldn't register now. It left me instructions for how to register later using the info I already typed in. I did not write down these instructions. Instead I clicked 'continue' and lost them forever.
Does anyone know how to register after the startup program has quit? I found register.apple.com but it requires me to re-enter all my data. Ignoring from the fact that I've spent more time typing this question than I would have re-typing my name and address, it bugs me that I can't find the menu or dialog box that I could swear the startup program told me to use to send my saved info.
Any advice?

Usually there's a shortcut in your new user's Home folder called "Register with Apple" (or something similar to that) of the original registration fails. To open your user's Home folder, press Apple-shift-H from the Desktop. Can you see the shortcut there?
Just so you know, you don't need to register to receive any technical support or warranty support from Apple. Registering with Apple, I believe, helps their Marketing Department, but you don't need to register for support or help.
