How to reinitialize SpamAssassin?

I seem to have messed up my SpamAssassin on a fresh (not upgraded) install of Leopard Server. Near as I can tell things went south when I tried to use "sa-learn".
The symptom is that no mail gets delivered while the "scan for junk mail" filter is selected in the Mail service preferences. If I deactivate this setting and restart Mail thing delivery is fine.
Is there a way I can just refresh the SpamAssassin install back to defaults? Or is there any sort of diagnostic tool or procedure?

Check /var/log/amavis.log or clues why your content filter isn't running.
Also, after checking "scan for junk mail" and saving, issue
sudo ps U _amavisd
to check amavisd is running.

Please answer as many of the following questions as you can. You may already have answered some of them. In that case, there's no need to repeat the answers.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Have you restarted your router and your broadband device (if they're separate) since you first noticed the problem? If not, do that now and see whether there's any change.
If your browser is Safari, then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. If the Downloads button (with the icon of a downward-pointing arrow) is showing in the toolbar, click it and then click Clear in the box that appears. The download history will be removed. Any change?
If you're running OS X 10.9 or later, select the Advanced tab in the Preferences window and uncheck the box marked

Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”

Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.

Are any other web browsers installed, and are they the same? What about other Internet applications, such as iTunes and the App Store?
If other browsers and Internet applications are also affected, follow these instructions and test. Any change?
If Parental Controls is active for any user, please turn it off and test. Any change?
If only Safari is affected, launch the Activity Monitor application and enter "web" (without the quotes) in the search box. If a process named "Safari Web Content" is shown in red or is using more than about 5% of a CPU, select it and force it to quit by clicking the X or Quit Process button in the toolbar of the window. There may be more than one such process. Any improvement?
Follow the instructions in this support article. Any change?
Open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Photos, if it's checked. Any change?
Are there any other devices on the same network that can browse the Web, and are they affected?
If you can test Safari on another network, is it the same there?
If you connect to your router with Wi-Fi and you can also connect with Ethernet, do that and turn off Wi-Fi. Any difference?

You asked how to reinitialize the RME AND CS databases...
it is no problem to reinit the RME database alone but if you reinit the CS database (cmf) then you have to reinit ALL other databases as well! And you have to start with reinitialization of cmf, because other database write information into the cmf database (which is lost when you reinit the cmf database after it was written to it...)
Marvin pointed you the Joes' doc, there is one sentance:
Reinitializing a database will destroy ALL data associated with that database. If you need to reinitialize the cmf database, you will lose ALL data in ALL LMS applications.

for you this means, you are done with reinitialization of the RME database if this was the problem and you should NOT touch the CMF database.

In $ORACLE_BASE/admin you should have a directory structure for the viton1 instance : create a similar directory structure for the viton2 instance.
In the pfile subdirectory create the initviton2.ora file : you can copy it from initviton1.ora file and change all occurrences of viton1 to viton2.
At OS prompt : export ORACLE_SID=viton2, then
sqlplus /nolog
conn / as sysdba
startup nomount pfile=$ORACLE_BASE/admin/viton2/pfile/initviton2.ora
then CREATE DATABASE.....

Hi, i get a question.
In general:
In the navigation menu i have two commandlink that are "Service" and "Application". And when i click on each of the two command links, i go to a page.
The detail:
This two commandlinks use a same task flow-----that is : <af:commandNavigationItem...... definition of this two link' action attributes are just the same.
What's more, the pages that i go to when i click on the link also use the same one, just show something different bansed on the paramaters when alick on the link. The parameters are defined in the <af:commandNavigationItem...... using <af:setPropertyListener..
And the question is:
when i click on the "Service" link and see the "Add service" page and then click "Application" it's still the "Add service" page, and otherwise is the same. i just can not jump freely through this tow link.
I have debuged the code and find that, once i click "Service" link then i click "Application" link, the task flow won't reinitialize.
Any one has some solutions?

How to reinitialize the sel screen after displaying the output..?

I have a report program. In the selection screen, I will provide the input parameters and execute the program which displays the output on the screen. Now, if I come BACK to the selection screen, the values which I entered earlier will appear on the selection screen. My requirement is... If I come BACK from the output screen to the selection screen, the selection screen should be blank. I mean, all the values I entered earlier should be cleared. Could anyone please tell me how to do that.

the selection screen will be reinitialized automatically. Only if the INITIALIZATION event or the parameters use SET/GET parameter IDs (addition MEMORY ID pid) the values will prevail.
You may clear everything in INITIALIZATION event.

How to reinitialize to default

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. I have written my test program and everything it should be doing it is.....except for reinitializing. Whatever was in the indicators when the test is started is automatically written into excel. Is this because I have yet to create my executable. Any help that anybody can give is greatly appreciated. I have attached the code.

This has nothing to do with creating an executable. This has everything to do with race conditions.
You have a single loop and two case structures which are independent. This means that as long as the operator control is not empty, both case structures will execute. The bottom case structure writes the values to Excel. It writes whatever values are there, even though they may not have been updated or initialized yet. It seems to me that you want to write to Excel once you've actually gotten the values. This means that you should have an additional case in your upper loop's state machine that is something like "Write Data", in which you place the code to write the data.
Also, there's no point in having a separate case structure to handle "Begin Test" to reinitialize the indicators. You already have a state for "Begin Test", so just place initialization stuff in there.

I'm having the same problem as others are with servlet (or other) clients to 8i EJB:s.
Once in a while a CORBA.COMM_FAILURE exception will be thrown when calling an EJB-method and all calls to EJB:s after that fail with CORBA.NO_IMPLEMENT.
This can always be fixed by restarting the clientside JVM so it is not an actual server problem (the server recovers anyway).
I tried to do a less intrusive recovery by recreating the InitialContext and looking up a new Home interface but that wont work. It also gives the CORBA.NO_IMPLEMENT exception.
This means that it is the clientside AURORA orb itself that is somehow locked in an incorrect state.
So how do I kill that ORB? The first creation of an initialContext apparently fires it up somehow so it must be killable
and possible to retart.

you are right, it would be kind of an ugly hack to talk IIOP instead of talking JMS. Me looking into this is more out of desperation because all attempts to accomplish the reconnect via the JMS API failed (see http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=29&thread=352585&tstart=15&trange=15). If there would be a not-too-complicated Corba solution I would go for it anyway because -- let's face it -- once you have installed your application in a productive environment you are not going to change your j2ee implementation every other day. The code would then have to check if this particular RMI-IIOP implementation is there; if yes, do the corba specifics, if no, work on the JMS level only.

Now, my component works fine but i wish to rebuild it at all when i change to state2 and come back to state1 of my application. How can i destroy my component and rebuild it again resetting all variables to their initial values??

You could sign in as Bumbo Rabbit @ craymail.net and it would not make a bit of difference to your Internet provider when it comes to connecting your computer to the Internet.
The Microsoft live account you might use as a login to your new computer is not relevant to your ISP.
Your email could be anything, else we could never lug our computers around and connect them to different networks.
You can certainly add another Admin account to your computer -- this is even a good idea:
