I accident deleted some files in the E980 when rooted, how can I reinstall ATT original firmware by usb. I try to reset to factory setting, still missing some.

I would recommend calling tech support directly. They should be able to supply you with the imager/firmware to flash the unit.

Hello,
I have px4-300d and recently got an issue with iomega device not booting. The iomega logo is displayed and nothing happens after that. The OS is not booting. I fI conenct keyboard to USB port and press CTRL-ALT-DEL it reboots. So it is stuck somewhere in or before OS boot. Since I cannot connect monitor to this device, I need to find a way how to blindly recover the OS.
I heard some models have an option to use firmware upgrade from the USB stick. I believe it is the same case for this device. Can you suggest me how can I load new recovery fimrware from the USB disk to try to recover the device?

How to reinstall SMC Firmware Update?

Hi,
I've an issue with my fans: after a SMC reset , they're doing fine until I put my MacBook Pro to sleep; then they are stuck at about 2000 rpm, independent of the CPU temperature, so that I've to reset the SMC again to fix it temporarily...
Would like to reapply the SMC Firmware Update to see if this help; does anybody know how to do this, as upon starting the app, it just tells me that I'm already at the right version and there's no Apple Firmware Restoration CD available for the new Macs from late 2008 available (yet).
Any help's highly appreciated!

obviously there's nothing you can do up to get your mbp replaced to hopefully get a working one. i don't think apple will EVER fix this problem, cuz it exists since release. just like many other issues apple never fixed...

I’m sorry to hear that the inbuilt memory of the Tablet is displayed low, below is the link where it explains the reason for the same and I suggest you to update software in the tablet by connecting it to a Wireless network and then go to Settings > About phone > System update > Online update.

How to reinstall latest firmware

I know you can revert and then go forwards again with the airport utility (which saves any previous firware update). I want to make sure that what it installs is a FRESH copy of the update, not a previous saved one..

I already have 7.4.2 in there, but I want to reinstall a "fresh" copy of it. My understanding is that airport utility stores download versions after you install them so that you can revert if you need to. I want to make sure that I reinstall the same one, but force it to download a new copy..

Just checked for my Nokia 5800xm for which the Firmware was updated by me and Nokia X3-00 for which it was never done... and see the difference...

You might also be able to reinstall Lion without a flash drive, by booting up the computer holding the Command + R keys, and choosing Reinstall OS X.

I backed up my files onto a USB flash drive before using system restore to restore back to factory settings. I now want to reinstall files from the USB storage device.

I'm experiencing airplay issues with an Airport Express, but not with an Apple TV on the same network (using Airport Extreme as the router). I thought initially it started due to the Yosemite upgrade but now I'm seeing my iPhone lose airplay connection too for no apparent reason. I've tried resetting the Express but nothing changed, so now I'd like to try reinstalling the firmware. Is there any way to do this? The Express is 4 months old so the latest version I believe.

I would be surprised if reinstalling the firmware would help at all, but if you have the time.......
Open AirPort Utility
Hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the actual number next to Version
A drop down list of available firmware will appear
Click on 7.6.4
Click Continue
What might help would be to install a more stable version of firmware....in my opinion....which would be 7.6.1 if you have that option.
