How to reload ipod forgotten password and its stuck on home screen
how can i reload ipod son has forgotten password its now frozen on home screen says connect to ijunes but cant.
Ok... so first... if itunes recognizes your ipod, press restore again...
if not... try the following steps..
hold the power button (button on the very top of ipod ) for 3 seconds:
then continue to hold the power button and press the home button (big button at bottom) for 10 seconds:
now release the power button and hold just the home button for 15 seconds...
you will see a couple flashes as you do this... dont worry...
if your ipod does not boot normally, there is only one way to fix you problem...
go to this website... http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/ .. and click on the link Tinyumbrella {win] on the right side of the page if you have windows..
if you have a mac, click Tinyumbrella[osx]...
open the file (dont worry, its safe)..
once the program comes up, press the button thats labled... Fix Recovery... what for the program to fix your ipod...
if that doesn't work, contact your local apple store...

Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...

I have the same problem! Let me know if you manage to sort it out. My iPad did the same thing but to full restore from iTunes sorted that out. Have you tried that? No such luck with my iPhone.

I updated my iPhone device for thw 7.1.1 update that was avalibe on 4-23-2014. when I did this my phone is prompting me to connect to itunes on my computer. My computer is no longer working and I can not make or recieve calls on my phone.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Which password is it that you are looking for. If it is your airplay password, simply turn the password off in the airplay settings on the Apple TV and then turn it back on again and enter a new password. -
