How to reload music that I have bought
I lost all the info in my iPhone. Now I want to reload all the music
I have bought in iTunes. How do I do this? I have not succeeded and support gives no help.
Did you purchase this music from iTunes, or from elsewhere?
If it is from iTunes, you should find it:
On your iOS Device in the iTunes app under More>Purchased
On your Desktop: iTunes>Store>Check for Available Downloads
OR
iTunes>Preferences>Store>Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases
If you have downloaded or purchased from a third-party, you should be able to just drag the files into iTunes.

Hi, I need to re-format my hard drive, as it has a virus and is corrupted- so I will lose all my data including my itunes software. I guess I will need to reinstall itunes again - but if I do this will, I lose all the music that I have bought or imported into my library? How do I reinstall my library/playlists to the new itunes?
ThanksMake a backup of your media and other important files.
Just to be safe, make a backup of your entire iTunes directory.
Restore computer or do whatever it is you need to do.
Restore your media and other important documents.
Install iTunes.
Try using search next time... this gets asked way too frequently. -
I recently upgraded to iOS 7.0.3 and now my iPhone 4S will only sync purchased music to my phone from iTunes. Help! I have TONS of music that I have bought and burned to my computer, but cannot listen to it on my iPhone. This seems ridiculous!
Also, it's taking FOREVER (over an hour) to sync my iPhone to iTunes...

I have suddenly lost the whole of my iTunes library, with the exception of music that I have bought and downloaded from iTunes Store. It was all there yesterday and I haven't altered anything, as far as I know! I hope it's something quite simple?
Apologies, but none of the communities listed seems to fit this question - so I'm taking pot luck! For music that you've purchased from Apple that are on your iPhone you should be able to copy to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. Also if you are in the US then you should be able to re-download past music purchases for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
For your own music that you've copied, then if you haven't got a backup on, for example, external drives or CDs/DVDs then you could see if any of the utilities mentioned in this old post still exist and work -
I don't know how to move music that I have imported (burned Cd's) into my iphone I am VERY frustrated. All of my sharing is on, please help

Can't play music that I have bought
I dont have the same username on my mac in OS X. Which leads to problem to deauthorize my itunes account. I can’t play music that I buy, and free movies doesn’t work either. I know this is the problem, cause I have tried to reformat using my old account name in OS X, which led to no problems in iTunes. I don’t want to use my old account name (OS X).
My old username in OS X----->karasjok
My present username in OS X----->Stian
iTunes account is not the same username as in OS X, I am aware of that. Problem is that I can’t play music bought from iTunes, neither can I deauthorize my iTunes account.
But if I reformat my OS X, use my old username, all of my music bought from iTunes plays well. -
HT1391 I can't find music that I have bought in my library
help! I have bought some music. I can see it in my recent puchases and I can play it. but when i search in my main library I can not find it anywhere.
If you're using iOS 7 or 8, tap on the Settings app, then on "Music", and then check "Show All Music" is on. Then go to the Music app and find the album. Click on Download and that's it. You should also be able to download it by going to the "Purchased" link under "Quick Links" on the right-hand side of the iTunes Store homepage and selecting "Music".
If you're using an old version of iOS such as iOS 6.1.6 or lower (until 4.3.3), go to the iTunes app, tap on "More", "Purchased" and "Music", then tap on "Not on This iPhone/iPod/iPad" and search for the album. -

HT1338 How do i get back my music that i have bought from itunes which i deleted by mistake thanks
how do i get back my music which i deleted by mistake which i bought from i tunes store
Well if it has a non-Filevaulted hard drive, you need to stop using the computer and either take it to a local PC/Mac repair shop that does data recovery or do it yourself with a spare blank powered external boot drive and $100 software that will read the deleted (but not yet overwritten) files.
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
Once you have the files recovered, back your data up, especially burning data DVD's in iTunes.

This may sound dumb but can i return music that i have bought?
I bought an album i was intending on buying, so im wondering if i can return it?
All purchases are final - you can't return something you've already downloaded. If you have purchased something in error you could try asking iTunes Support whether they could consider refunding you just this once: they have been known to do so but please be aware that they are under absolutely no obligation to do so.
To contact them, go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'All Products and Services' in the first column, 'iTunes' in the second column and then 'iTunes Store' in the third column. -

How can I transfer music from my ipod classic 60GB to my iPhone 4 music library, just by song or whole CD that I have bought? Help needed!
load the current version of I tunes on the laptop and sync the pod. Then sync the phone - you can select all or as much of the music you want to.
Also - if the music on the pod was purchased from the itune store in the first place, you should be able to redownload it to the phone for free, as long as you are using the same apple id that it was bought with. -
I just downloaded iTunes on my new PC and all the music that I have purchased through ITunes that was backed up on the cloud won't play. It is telling me I must authorize this computer before it can play pre purchased music. how do I authorize my computer to play this music?
Thank you for any assistance.Tigon's already got you covered here. But I'll chime in with some English localisation advice.
There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -
My email address has changed and when I try to play purchased songs it asks me to authorize another computer under the old email address. How do I play the music that I have purchased? My account is current with the new email address.
You may have already done this, but try de-authorizing your computer (through the iTunes:Store menu) and then re-authorizing it.
