How to reload purchased songs ?

I lost some of my purchased songs.
Whe I go to the store and my purchased songs they are there, but if I click on it it gives me the message: The song “Tynn Tråd” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?
The problem is that the folder where this song should be does not exist anymore and I do not have the option to download it again.
Does anybody know what can I do.
Thank you

Even if I go to the store and want to buy it I can't as the option is to play and not to purchase. And again, if I click on play it gives me the same message: The song “Tynn Tråd” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?
But this folder is not in my computer.
Thanks again

The Youtube app was removed by Apple in iOS6.  You can use either the iPhone app from Youtube (free in the app store, but you've got to set it at 2x), or go to www.youtube.com in a Safari web browser.  You can also add the web page to your Home Screen using the share feature.  It will then operate just like an app.

  • How to Transfer Purchased Songs from iPod back to iTunes.

I lost some purchased songs in iTunes that are on my iPod. How do I do this? I see the place in iTunes to click to make this transfer but I'm not sure how to keep the iPod from syncing from the computer first and then it will match the computer and the songs will be lost on the iPod, too. I guess what I'm asking is how do I keep the iPod from automatically syncing to the computer the minute I put it in the dock? Is there a way to make syncing of songs manual?

You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on a Mac hold down the Option and Command (⌥ and ⌘ Apple) keys. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and it will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer: iTunes Keyboard Shortcuts for OSX
Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual if you wish. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in the Summary tab then press the Apply button: Managing content manually on iPod

how do i transfer songs i bought from the wifi music store onto my itunes library?
i manually manage my music so when i hit sync, it doesn't do it. when i hit file, transfer purchases from my ipod, it transfers all purchased songs, even ones i bought on other computers and then put on my ipod, not just through the wifi music store. How do i transfer just the ones purchased on my ipod?

    Hi ipodtuser234,
Clicking "Synchronize" will only transfer songs from the library to the iPod.
To transfer music donwloaded from iTunes Music Wi-Fi Store to the computer, connect your iPod then right-click you iPod name on the Source list and hit "Transfer Purchases".
Here you have an article about that: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305465

    Hope this helps!

  • How to Recover purchased songs from iTunes store?

I recently fixed my iTunes, but in the process I've seemed to have lost about half of my purchased songs. When I go to "My Music" folder to try to get them back they are not there, but in my account I have a recipt of all my purchased songs (so I can prove I've bought them). Any ideas on how to get them back? Thanks for the help.

f you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. If you click on any of the links on this page you'll find a space at the bottom to email your query: iTMS Customer Service
If you have an iPod that still has the purchases on it the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer

how can i reload purchased music files from itunes store? if i check my account i see the files in the statistik of purchased files. i would like to load them down again to my ipad as well to my windows computer. i am living in switzerland.
thanks a lot for your tipps!

At this time you get only one download per purchase. If you don't have a backup or have the tracks on a iPod or other iOS device, then you'll have to contact the iTunes Store, request a second download, and hope they'll make an exception for you:

  • Help needed - new hard drive - how to get purchased songs?

I had to replace my hard drive on my computer and now I can't synch some of the songs from my iPod to the computer (purchased songs). I tried to do transfer purchased songs, but only some of the older ones came over - nothing in the last couple of months. They reside on my iPod and I can see them in the iTunes store, but can't get them on my computer so I can synch the two. Any ideas????

Try Yamipod. It is a terrific third party application that you can use to pull music off your iPod onto iTunes. The website also provides terrific instructions on how to do it. I provided the site below. Hope this helps.

  • How to transfer purchased songs from old PC to a new one?

    Hi -
Any ideas on how to transfer my songs stored in iTunes on my old computer to the newly installed iTunes on my new computer? As I am looking through the postings, it doesn't seem possible, but I would like to make sure.
For example, is it possible to transfer some of my songs through my iPod Suffle (after I load it up with songs stored in my old PC)? After I installed the iPod software on my new PC, my Suffle was reformated, hence is currently empty...
So much trouble for what I thought was going to be a simple switch!!! Please help!
    Thanks!
