How to reload the WRT160N through the web admin interface?
I see no way to do this, which is strange. Is there a way to reset through the web admin page or did Cisco gaffe on this? Thanks!
Open an Internet Explorer browser page.In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1
Leave the username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
Click on "Administration" tab and click on Factory Defaults subtab and select Restore All Settings, this should reset your router to Factory Defaults...
Also you have a reset button next to the power cable, Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...

i am receiving the data through the rs232 in labview and i have to store the data in to the word or text file only if there is a change in the data. I have to scan the data continuasly. how can i do that. I was able to store the data into the text or word file but could not be able to do it. I have attatched the vi. Here in this it receives the data from rs232 as string and converted into binery. and indicated in led also normally if the data 1 comes then the led's will be off. suppose if 0 comes the corresponding data status is wrtten into the text file. But here the problem is the same data will be printed many number of times. so i have to make it like if there is a transition from 1 to o then only print it once. how to do it. I am doing this from few weeks please reply if you know the answer immediatly

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway... -
My amp has an USB input but when I attach my mac pro to it, and set the input to the USB setting, no sound comes out. I looked at the system settings, but none of them produce a different outcome. How can I send the music through the USB out to USB in?
AFAIK cameras offer their own built-in format utility for inserted SD cards. You should use that. Otherwise, refer to the manual that came with your camera to determine precisely how your SD cards need to be formatted to work properly. Personally, I'd suggest Partition Scheme: MBR, and Filesystem: FAT32.
Try to limit the number of formats you perform on the SD cards, though, as you're reducing their lifespan. I believe formatting causes re-writes to a portion of the SD card that has fewer read/write cycles than the rest of the card as a whole. -
HELP - how do you save pictures through the recovery mode?
How do you save pictures through the recovery mode. I have the black screen with cursor and despite trying all the tips noted here nothing seems to fix the issue. These have included using Utility disk to re-install OS-X, repairing the disks. Also tried the holding shift on start up and entering username and password. Also tried internet recovery and then repair and re-install. Nothing works!
Happy to restore from a back up, but I have been rubbish and not backed up for a long time. Also happy to delete and re-install completely but don't want to loose pics.

I have edited a movie in Final Cut Pro and the video has been smooth all the time.
Now, when the one hour long movie is ready the video seem to paus every 5 sec (only for half a second). It does it all the way through the movies.

What version of FCP X?
Did you render? what are the project specs? do you use many compound clips? how much ram, hard drive space, how is the hard drive connected?
It looks like your mac can't keep up. Maybe the bottleneck is the hard drive, or something else.
Try exporting a master file and see if the video is ok.
Also, keep Activity Monitor open and see how much memory pressure you've got. -
Setup restrictions to the printer through the embaded network adapter
I've recently prochesed an HP Officejet Pro K8600dn printer.
I've connected the printer to the internet through the embaded network adapter and it worked perfectly. Howerver, the printer can be freely used by anyone in my network so i'm wondering if there's a way to block certain ip's or to configure any of that in the printer?
Also, the EWS server that came with the printer works perfectly and i can access it through my web browser. I cannot find anything about configuring allowed or blocked ip's.
Thanks in advance for any help.Not likely this printer is going to have that kind of security features. You'd be looking at something like a logon feature or Kerberos Authentication (which requires a dedicated server). This is just a simple open port that allows anything on the network to access the printer as long as it talks the right printer language.
That being said, the router configuration is a whole different animal. With the printer set up with a static IP, your router might allow you to restrict traffic to that address. You would need to check your router configuration or contact their support staff for assistance.

It looks to me like you are using a console cable. The reason you usually see them the other way around is because with a console cable the RJ-45 end goes into the device (an ethernet jack labeled console) whereas on this switch the console port is serial itself.
Usually the serial end of the cable you have plugs into a USB to serial adapter (because most computers today don't have serial ports anymore) and that USB connection goes into your PC, creating the virtual COM port you need in HyperTerminal.
So if you get a USB to Serial adapter you could plug that from USB to the console port, or if you computer has a serial port of its own just connect a serial cable directly from the PC to the switch, then use HyperTerminal with the settings recommended above by Tom.

i just update my iphone 4s to ios 7.0.4 and update my macbook pro to ios maveric. Now, my iphone 4s does not sound form the speaker and the volume button up and down also does not work.I could hear the sound through the earphone. Also the airplay disapear. Please advice how to downgrade to the previous OS

i have a problem with safari . Whenever i am typing in the safari main bar , so in the halfway through the typing my sentence/words are shifting to another main google search and in the end i have to type again in google. I have attached a sample screenshot of the safari problem which i am facing. In this particular example i wanted to write Print Screen, however halfway,my typing automatically shifted to google bar?? can you guys help me.Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this test is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The "Guest User" login created by "Find My Mac" is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing. -

Connecting the iPad to the internet via the iPhone is done by setting up a personal HotSpot, but you have to have that supported by your carrier and have to have established the account to do so.

When restoring my backup from my old iphone via my computer to my new iphone, it gets all the way through the restore and then at the end it says there was an error and doesn't restore. Doesn't say what error.
