I bought an iPad used and it was sent with a apple id and password My wife changed both and now one week later it says the Beta OS is over and we must remove the device from the old apple id to move to the new one.
How do I remove a device from my apple id?

How to unlink a phone number
To remove a phone number from an Apple ID, sign out of FaceTime and Messages on your iPhone. Sign out in the following locations:
- Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
- Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
This should remove your phone number from other devices using the same Apple ID with FaceTime and Messages.
If the phone number is still available on other devices after you sign out of FaceTime and iMessage on the iPhone, you may need to sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all your devices, then sign in to FaceTime and Messages again on devices you want to use.
Note: If you no longer have access to the iPhone that is using the number you want to remove, reset your Apple ID password.
In regard to your iTunes Account/Apple ID: You can manage the devices that have been associated with your Apple ID (iTunes Account) from “View My Account”:

How do I remove a device from my apple id on the find my phone app with out erasing it becase it still belongs to my child? I need to remove a iPad mini and a iPod 4th gen.
ThanksIf you haven't already, do Settings > iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone. You will have to supply your Apple ID and password.
Then do Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to make the iPhone appear as if it just came out of the box. -

Where is the Manage Devices to click???How/why do you want to remove them from your account ? e.g. if you are selling or giving a device away and want to unlink it from your account so that the new owner can register it to their's then you can do so via your support profile : https://supportprofile.apple.com/
A device or computer will only become associated to an account, and appear in the 'manage devices' section, if you use iTunes Match or automatic downloads on it, of if you redownload the account's past purchases on it (if you don't have any associated devices/computers then the section won't show). Have you done any of those ? You could try redownloading a past purchase on a device or computer and see if that section then shows with that computer/device listed (but if you do then it will become associated for a minimum of 90 days).
And for the hidden purchases, have you ever hidden any ? You could try hiding something and see if that section then shows : hiding and unhiding. -

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

I would like to remove a device from my Share Everything plan and lower my monthly bill. How do I go about this?
Its simple. Verizon specifically does not want customers removing devices by themselves because they want to get you on the phone and try to talk you out of it.
I actually stopped by a Verizon store to have my tablet taken off my plan, and the ONE person they have that is authorized to do terminations wasnt in the store so they couldnt do it.

Since the number of devices that can be registered with the same id is limited to 6, I really need to remove the id from two of these pc's that are not alive anymore to register a new device. How do I do that?If you still have the old devices/computers you can deregister them.

For an ereader device, connect it to a computer running ADE, then ctrl-shift-E (cmd-shift-E on Mac)
For a tablet, find instructions for the app you are running.
Unfortunately, deregistering does not always free up the slot to allow for more devices as is should.

Some of the representatives haven't been properly trained and don't know what to do (and claim there is nothing they can do);
in that case the only way seems to be to give up that chat and try another session hoping for a properly trained representative.
If your problem is with another device using Overdrive, Bluefire, Aldiko or similar third party app, it is recommended not to mention that app when on the chat, just mention that you have run out of authorizations (E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS) . Thanks to AJP_Bear for that tip. -

I can see the machine in the list of products. I can click the link "remove" but the wheel turns forever and the next page is not displayed. The removal process is stuck. This is also so in different browsers (I tested Safari, Firefox).
