How to remove a duplicate driver?

i have a Leybold 23xxxx pressure meter. By accident there are two Leybold 23xxxx drivers in the system now and i get strange errors with my VIs.
I have installed one driver via LV (this is a very old version)
and there is another (newer) Version i dont know where it came from and why NI did not install the latest version.
How can i remove the unused drivers?
There is a old unused 2009 LV version still installed, but i could not find a uninstaller. Will i have to remove it with some tricks, or can it stay?

Instrument drivers are in the "LabVIEW\instr.lib" folder. Each driver should be in its own folder. To delete it, just delete the folder. You may need to update the palette menu to reflect the removal of the directory.
Also, what do you mean by NI installing the driver? Are you referring to using the Help -> Find Instrument Driver? If so, what did you enter in the search criteria? Leybold isn't even in the list of manufacturers.

I have not been importing photos for some time. Literally, I open I Photo and pictures from my library are dupe'd, side by side - 2 - 3 even four side by side. I deleted hundreds of faces pulled from photos that just appeared in the library. Nope. I don't use the FACES feature. These simply appeared in my library. Other photos that are not mine - look like they must be from web sites or something have appeared as well.
When I was importing from my camera I always checked the box to not import any duplicates. It appeared that was being done properly.
I shoot raw +jpeg now with a new camera and so two of each shot comes into the library but the dupes I'm talking about are pretty much happening throughout years of pictures.
Yesterday I met w/a tech at Apple and upgraded to the most current I Photo. But, the comments I've seen seem to be happening on the later versions as well.

I have an old HiNote Ultra CT475, that I need to remove the hard drive and have destroyed. Anyone know how to get the case off with destroying it? I have the front edge up, cause I found screws under the foot pad in front. I do not see any more screws except on the back and they have all been remove.

i created a mapping in my iMac pointing to a folder on my notebook with windows.
When I start Parallels to run a Windows VM and my notebook is not connected to the lan, the system stays popping up a message saying "The connection fails, maybe the server Notebook doesn't exists or blablabla...".
I would like to know how to remove this mapping because it doesn't appear on my Mac Desktop if my notebbok is connected to the lan, but when using Parallels, is almost impossible to work with the message popping up all the time.

One of the user automatically mounts a network drive on her new intel Macbook in her portable account. Trouble is that the network drive is only available on the intranet. So when she is on the road, it take the Macbook very long 3-4 minutes before it let's her log in.
Simply I thought to remove the drive on her macbook through the system preferences -> account -> login items. However the "login Item" GUI is very slow to respond and if it respond it does not let me remove the network drive. I tried this both on the intranet and off the network.
I tried to remove the mounted drive at start up through the workgroup manager, but it does not show up there.
So I thought that I try to use netinfo on the local machine. But I can't find where mounting info is stored in a mobile account. I thought it would be in the local @ localhost or should I connect to an other DB?

The login items are not stored in Netinfo, they are stored in loginwindow.plist in the users Library/Preferences. You can either remove the entries for the server or simply trash that file and let a default one get recreated.

Is your album a smart album? You can only remove photos from smart albums by changing the smart rules for the album.
If I move the duplicate to another new album, can I then trash the new album?
It is still not clear, what duplicates you are asking about. Photos in albums are not duplicates. Albums are showing you the same photos you are seeing in your events, just grouped differently for easy access. You can delete any album completely and will still have the same photos in your iPhoto library.
If Photo sweeper says,"there are no duplicates", you probably really do not have duplicates in your iPhoto library.
You only have duplicates, if you are seeing identical photos twice in events, but not, if you you are seeing the same photo once in an album and once in an event. You can check that, by ctrl-clicking any photo in an album and selecting "Show Event". Then you will see, what the event is, that is containing this particular photo.

Satellite Pro 4260: How to remove the DVD drive?

I have a Satellite Pro 4260 and it appears that the DVD drive is broken and I want to replace it. I cannot figure out how to remove the old one.

This notebook is not know to me but a checked some sites in the net and it seems that the top cover must be removed.
Then lift up the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive to disconnect PJ700 on the CD-ROM/DVD board from PJ15 on the system board.
Remove two screws securing the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM connector board.
Separate the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM connector board and CD-ROM/DVD-ROM connector brace from the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive
Well, I think its not easy for someone with no experience.
Therefore if you dont know how to do it and you have no much experience you should ask someone how knows what to do ;)

How to remove an external drive from time machine backup

In time machine I also backup to an external drive. I recently bought a new external drive and thats working fine. However, it still wants to backup to my previous drive which I dont want to use. In time machine preferences I see the old and new drive listed. Both are greyed out so I cannot deselect the older drive.
Suggestions?

If you see them both listed on the initial screen of TM prefs, they are both selected as backup drives. They are not being backed up. They are being used by Time Machine as a destination. You need to use “Select Disk…” to remove the external drives from the destination drives. Select Disk does not choose the drives you want to back up. It chooses the drives you wan to back up to.

How to remove stuck optical drive carrier

I'm in the process of replacing a worn out Optical Drive in my 2007 Mac Pro Tower. When I got to the 'remove the optical drive carrier,' the stinker comes out about 3/4 inch and then no further. I don't want to force it of course. Anyone else ever have the same problem?

This only can be done if you have 2 super? drive bays with lower unoccupied.
In my case it did not move at all in attempt to pull it out - in fact it is stuck on two screws that act as posts and are in slots in the bottom side of aluminum tray that it is supposed to slide out from. You don't see these until you get it out.
In your case with 3/4" opening, first try pulling one side then other, rocking, prying, a small crow bar. Try harder.

1) lay the computer - open side panel down - on the floor.
2) slide the lower unoccupied DVD tray open with your finger and insert a blunt object (I used big old blunt screw driver) into the opening aimed down towards the floor. When you apply force to the inserted object, it is in the direction that enclosure must be pulled to get it out normally and on the side where it is stuck. You may have to strike the object, as I did, before enclosure will come free.

i tried the logic but its also not printing the First Line.
Syntax:

I think this condition works fine if it is start from second line of the row.
Output:

How to remove the duplicate HR record from per_all_people_f table

Because of some mistake user has created two records for one employee one with start date 4th may 2010 and end date with 1st may 2011 and another with start date with 2nd may 2011 and end date is 31st of dec 2012.
When I go to enter and maintain employee i found the record which starts with 4th may 2010 and end date with 1st may 2011.
Please let me know how to remove the end date from this record.

Okay, so you wish to just have one person record from the 4th May 2010 through to the 31st December 4712, right?
In that case, do this:
1) Query the person in the Enter & Maintain person form
2) Hit Delete on the toolbar
3) Select "Delete Next Change" from the date-track mode and save
4) Re-query
Now the date-track update from 2nd May is gone.

Is this happening for all lists in site collection or this is the only one?
Check on the list if there is any workflow attached. If yes then open the workflow in designer and check its logic it might be written to copy list items.
Investigate if there is an event receiver deployed in your site where it creates duplicate entries. There has to be some custom code running which is causing this duplication otherwise out of the box behavior of lists is never like this.
