I write a plugin for the Acrobat 9 and can't find how remove a file attachment.
Please, help.

There are multiple ways to "attach" a file inside a PDF - one via annotations and one via the Names tree. You will need to write code to handle both cases and it will require some in depth understanding of the PDF format - so start with reading the PDF Reference/ISO 32000.
OR you can call the PDFOptimizer to do this for you...

What "app cleaner software" ? I ask because installing Photoshop over a previous version has never been a problem. Perhaps your difficulty stems from another source, eg. "cleaner software" ?
If you look in your hard drive, at the root level there is a Library. In there is a folder called Application Support, and in that you will find a folder called Adobe. Files from your previous version are there.
However, I urge you to call Adobe support to make sure you are not doing anything that would mess up other Adobe applications.

I am creating external table to import csv file into table...I put csv file in this directory(c:\temp1\hr.csv)...while importing, the bad file and text document are created..Actually the client does not require this....Can anyone say how to remove those files while importing?

First of all bad file contains those record information which is rejected for any specific reason. So, you can get some valuable information regarding the rejected records. But, still if you don't want to keep it - then you can do it with a java based procedure. I don't thinki you can do it directly through any oracle procedure. Because, you are about to access the o/s system files. I don't think that can be done directly using Oracle Pl/SQL - which i'm not sure.

If it is a security issue, you will probably need to implement a custom dialog and actively filter for file types. No matter what pattern you have showing, the user can type a pattern into the dialog and get anything they want. In addition, file extension is not sufficient to determine file type. You should probably check the file itself to ensure it is an HTML file and does not have any embedded nastiness.
Fortunately, custom dialogs are easy to make. Using the event structure, you can filter inputs as well, so that only HTML files will be accepted. Good luck. Let us know if you need more help.

I've not long worked out how to do basic things on my iMac but have had some coaching on other forums, as it goes this happened to me this morning.
Inadvertently, I managed to get all pdfs into ibooks and faced similar "delete" problem, couldn't drag the files out of ibooks either: Accidentally I found all ibooks info in a library through finder, took a while but right clicking "move to trash" got rid of them but not from pages/documents!
Re-opening ibooks initially showed the pdfs still in place, except after double clicking one a message appeared telling me the file could not be opened, then immediately the remaining books were shuffled and pdfs disappeared - still in documents though, and able to open.
Hope this helps, there may well be an easier way...

After transferring my ipod from one computer to another, the ipod capacity has increased with 'other' in orange on the summary pane. This has taken up about half the space on my ipod and I don't know what 'other' is!

Other can be Album Artwork, Notes, Contacts, Firmware etc. or (and this doesn't apply to the iPod Touch or iPhone which don't have the option to be enabled for disk use), files that are on there if you are using the iPod as a removable storage device.
If you feel that Other is being incorrectly reported then try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists uncheck the box beside the sync automatically instruction and press Done, it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes

How to ZIP, PDF file attachment

I have an ABAP report requirement to send an email to a user. This program will send an email with PDF attachement. However, the PDF attachment is quite big (9MB) and our email server couldn't handle it (5MB only). Is there any way to ZIP this PDF file attachment?
I am using a SAP release ECC 6.0with OS WinNT. And the ABAP program should be able to run in Foreground/Background.

You have to load your file in the contents_bin table of FM.
You can load the file by OPEN DATASET and the READ DATASET command.
In the object_header you can put some description.

Is it possible to remove log files without Complete Data Backup procedure in Database Manager?
Is it helpfull to switch database in Overwrite Log Mode?
We use a testing sistem without needs for recovery procedures.

Hi,
you should not delete the logvolumes.
For your case it would suffice to switch on the auto-overwrite mode of the log.
You can do this most conveniently by using the Database Manager GUI.
1. Put the DB instance in state ADMIN
2. Goto 'COnfiguration' -> 'Log Settings'.
3. From the wizard select 'Overwrite Mode...' and follow the described follow-ups.

I have a automated script to Clone the Database, but to Clone Database we need remove the old database from ASM before start this operation. I want remove only Database files and keep the configuration (such as oratab/network/ocr and so on).
Question: There is a easy way to remove these files without connect on ASM or by using DBCA?

Yes... there is a easy way. Use command DROP DATABASE.
Use the DROP DATABASE command to delete the target database and, if RMAN is connected to a recovery catalog, unregister it. RMAN removes all datafiles, online redo logs, and control files belonging to the target database. By default, RMAN prompts for confirmation.
Put this command on your script before clone your database:
RMAN> CONNECT TARGET SYS@test1
RMAN> STARTUP FORCE MOUNT
RMAN> SQL 'ALTER SYSTEM ENABLE RESTRICTED SESSION';
RMAN> DROP DATABASE INCLUDING BACKUPS NOPROMPT;Regards,
