How to Remove a Library Set?

How can you remove a newly created library set?
The "delete set" is grey.

Installed Library sets can't be deleted from the Library- only custom sets. Same with content within the default installed sets.
Instead, delete these in Windows Explorer.

AFAIK then there is no way to do that system wide. You can only do that via userChrome.css or an extension like the Menu Editor per profile .You can install extensions globally, but the user will have to enable them anyway. That is not required for userChrome.css code.

How to remove hotmail automatic set-up in Safari ?

I use have been using a hotmail account for many years now without a hitch via Safari. Yesterday, out of the blue, I decided to click on the feature to allow Safari to remember my username and password. Now I cannot log into hotmail anymore via Safari. It just stays stuck. The URL address switches between addresses but does not fully go through anymore in hotmail.com...How can I get right of that function and go back to the way my hotmail account worked previously: to enter my username and account myself.

Thanks you for your suggestion. It made lots of sense. However, I did try it but it did not work. I am wondering, if I delete cookies, could that do the trick ? I am also wondering if I remove any of these: Bookmarks.plist, Form Values, History.plist...would it make a difference. I don't know what they are for but they are in the Library.

Not exactly sure what you wanna do... but here is what I've understood...
You can remove any old Transport Set in your Portal by going to the Browser Transport Sets within the Builder page over the Administer tab.
As to import a new Transport Set into the Production server, what I suggest is that you make a valid backup (so that in case you have any problem it is easier to revert back) and later on override it (or if it is a major change, it would be better to drop the Page Group and reimport it clean) or import it clean to your Production server. Validate all things... and that's it.

HT5012 Bought a ipad3, which is stuck in demo mode. Any suggestions on how to remove the demo setting.

Do not restore from backup. Set up the device from scratch once you're out of demo mode.

Random Screen Saver: How to remove iPhoto Library ?

When you tag "Use Random Screen Saver" in the System Preference Pane, the Screen Saver browses all the iPhoto Library.
How is it possible to get rid of that, as the "minus" button is not working (anyway it is grey for all the directories in the list) ?

How to remove separator after setting featuresOff="viewMenu formatMenu"

For one of our collection we had to remove the menus 'Action', 'View' and 'Format'.
It works fine with featuresOff="viewMenu formatMenu" and actionsMenuRendered="false".
Now we have the requirement also to remove the leading separator.
Any proposals, suggestions ?

How to remove "start transaction" setting

Hi,
this is probably easy to answer, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere...
I have a couple of systems where a transaction runs everytime a user logs on.
I don't have anything set on the menu option "Extras" - "Set start transaction" nor on the SU01 default settings.
Where else can something like this be set?

This is the correct answer to my question:
We can do it globally for all users.
Check Function module exit EXIT_SAPLSUSF_001.
Simply use CALL TRANSACTION 'ZTEST'. inside it and assign it to a project.
Follow below steps:
Goto -> Tcode SMOD ->Enter SUSR0001 -> Click display -> Click Components -> Double click on EXIT_SAPLSUSF_001 -> Double click ZXUSRU01 -> goto change mode -> Enter code CALL TRANSACTION 'ZTEST'. (Your 'Z' transaction) -> Activate.
Now Goto -> Tcode CMOD ->Enter Project name -> Click create ->Enter Short text ->Click Enhancement assignments -> Enter SUSR0001 -> Save -> Click Components -> Click activate.
Log off and login again.

There is a job in SM37 which is running daily and it is creating a spool with nearly 10000 pages.
we dont need this spool as it is now not useful to us.We want to run this job without generating the spool.....
Im stuck here...pls help me...what should I do?
As user are not priting these spool requests so the option "delete after print" is also not working....
so due to huge spool,all jobs are getting delayed..

How can I temporarily remove a RAID set but keep the data?

I recently had to restore my Netgear ReadyNAS to factory settings, which meant that I needed to make a backup of its data and restore it afterwards. The only possible way to back up the 8.5Tb of data was to get 9Tb of WD Red disks and somehow use them - so my immediate thought was that the Mac Pro would be a good idea. I t had four drives in it, but three of them were not being used by the OS so they could be temporarily removed.
So I replaced three of my four Mac Pro drives with new 3Tb drives and used Disk Utility to set them up as a JBOD. I then used this JBOD drive to back up the NAS and restore it again after I had re-installed its O/S (the whole thing took two weeks!!!).
So now I'm in the following situation:
* I want to tear down the JBOD set and take the three new drives out of the Mac Pro again and replace them with the drives I normally use there so that I can go back to making music (which is what I usually use it for).
* I also want to be able to put the new drives back in and read the data as a JBOD again if needed (in case anything is discovered to be amiss with my ReadyNAS backup/restore operation) - let's say for the next month I'll plan to keep the old drives around for safety.
How can I remove the JBOD set in such a way that I can set it up again using the same drives, and access the data (i.e. I don't want to delete the RAID set the usual way because that will delete the data too - apparently...)?

Going to ask the mods to move this to MacPro, Hatter can answer your question, but I'm pretty sure if you power down and remove the RAID drives, you can put them in back again and boot up and the RAID will still be recognized as the info is stored on the drives themselves in the GUID/MBR of each drive in the set.
Also you should know, there is a new MacPro coming and it doesn't accept internal drives, only external.
So you should prepare and have some sort of external hardware redundancy for your data that isn't dependent on the Mac HFS+ formatting as Windows doesn't read that.
Perhaps exFAT would be better as both platforms can read/write that, but if the drives are going to be used with a PC ever, they need to be formatted by Windows for exFAT to get it right. Check first before you commit to copying huge data over.
Anyway research it, because if your MacPro dies, you might be up the creek and have some issues getting at all that data since it's in a RAID, external options might not work correctly or reliably for RAID.
Also consider talking to the fellows at MacGuru's, they are external RAID box setup experts for Mac's, sounds like you need a RAID 5 box, gives redundancy and can connect to any computer.
Hardware RAID is more reliable than software ones, cross platform as well.

It will allow me transfer purchased songs but not songs I had that were downloaded off of my CD's. Where do I access that library and how do i get it back on iTunes? It basically copied all my itunes files from my C drive onto ipod in my efforts to move the library.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? How to restore accidently removed iPhoto library from Trash?

I have iPhoto Library Manager (version 3.5.5) and am employing it successfully with my iMac (OS X 10.5.8) to manage my iPhoto Library [iPhoto '09 version 8.1 (415)] which I have divided into 47 libraries at about 4 GB each.
This morning I accidently removed iPhoto Library #36 from my iPhoto Library list of 47 libraries! Ouch! Naturally I wish to restore it ASAP.
I opened up Trash and found iPhoto Library #36 in the SEARCH FOR/ Today folder. When I open it up it appears to be intact with all 756 photos present. However, I am not certain how to restore this library. When I perform a right click on the iPhoto Library #36 line item a menu pops up, but nowhere in the menu is a Restore option.
Can anybody advise me how to proceed to restore this library? I want to be sure that I do this correctly so as not to lose any of these images in the process.
