How to remove all of someone's personal data, including all media?

Does anyone know how I can completely wipe someone's entire iTunes record from my PC? My bro had an iPod, but he moved out and now I'm trying to figure out how to get all of his information off my computer. If you need any details, please ask!

    Well, you sink everything on your 3GS onto your laptop/computer. Then you reset your iPhone 4. When you are restarting it, add all those apps music (ect)  On to it. It seems difucult but for more info call Apple. I did that and he lead me step by step on how to do it. Well hope this helped~~

    If all your files are missing
    You may have logged in as a different user, such as Guest. Open the Users & Groups pane in System Preferences. Your name should be at the top of the user list, under Current User. See also this support article.   
    If files are missing from one folder
    Change the Finder view mode; for example, from icon view to list view, or vice versa.
    If files are present, but seem outdated
    You may have started up from a different volume (disk.) Open the Startup Disk preference pane and check the selection.

  • My Mac has broken and I want to sell it for parts. How can I be sure that my personal data that is/was on the hard drive is safe?

    My 2006 MacBook Pro has broken. There is a little bit of drive noise when I turn it on, but then nothing happens. It is no big deal. Most of my files were backed up. There are a few files I would like to recover if possible, but nothing worth a major effort.
    I have seen that broken MacBook Pro's go for about $300 on eBay for parts, so I would like to sell the MacBook Pro. However, I only want to do that after I am sure that my personal data is wiped out. Does anyone know how I can accomplish that? Does anyone know of an easy way to search the old hard drive for some of the data that I lost? Can a Genius Bar take care of this stuff for me (and how much do they charge?)?

    The ONLY real secure way to be sure that noone may recover data from your drive is, to remove the drive, and drill one or two 1" holes thru the disk.
    A bit less secure but useful way is, to wipe out the data with a tool that's overwrite all sectors of the drive with randomized data in multiple runs.

    Independent tests bring out, that even specialized recovery companies with forensic tools are unable to find useful data after such a run.

  • How to remove empty line in BW after data load

    Hello Experts,
    From standard SAP contents, I am loading Master Data (E-Recruiting) from R3 to BW. The thing is after loading to BW when I check the data, maximum of the MD tables shows all the data but first line is blank. Sometime it shows only date on first line and other fields empty. I don't want to keep the first line blank or only date. How to fix it or what to look / what are all the possibilities?

    Hi,
    there will always be one initial record (also the keyfields initial). You cannot avoid this. This record is used for the join from infoprovider to infoobject in case there is no value posted to the infoobject in the cube.

    IOS 8 has a feature where u can see the initials of the last person you texted. it is right above the miniaturized menu and says "recents" and then a circle with the initials of the person texted and the person sending. I find no real value to this and was trying to disable. any ideas?

    You can turn off both the Recents and the Favorites. Use the Settings app to do this.
    Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > in the Comtacts area > Show is App Switcher > turn off Recents and, if desired, Phone Favorites

    I have many pages to my sharepoint which all have separate task lists. On my overview page I want to create a list so that all the tasks and data inputted into the other task lists on the site are compiled together in one list. This way I have a long list

    Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to collect all the task items on a site to one task list.
    For accomplishing your request, you can create a Reusable Workflow.
    Open your site with SharePoint Designer 2013->create a Reusable Workflow named task, choose 2010 platform and Task content type->choose Copy List Item Action->Copy current item to you target task list.
    Then in every task list, create a workflow based on the new reusable workflow.
    Besides, you can use Project Summary web part or Content Search web part to accomplish collecting all task items.

    I don't think there is a direct way of doing that. However, you can try running the same query from the selection criteria of SM58 on the ARFCSSTATE table.
    Try activating the SQL trace on ST05 (for your user), run the SM58 and click on "Execute". Stop the ST05 trace and display it. The same query performed by the transaction will be displayed there, allowing you to run it manually and check the number of records.

    I upgrade from SL to Lion without any problems but have decided to do a full reinstall.  Although I have a Time Machine Backup, I've done another, manual, backup of certain files, and Mail is the last one to do. 
    I can't find any instructions for Lion though, and files seem to have moved from SL or before...  Any ideas/help appreciated!

    The way I backup my Lion Mail is copy the /Mail folder from my ~/Library to a USB thumb drive.
    To get to your ~/Library folder....
    Open Finder
    Click on GO then Go to Folder and enter ~/Library
    Your user Library folder will open and you should be able to find the Mail folder. If it's not in ~/Library, try the ~/Library/Application Support folder.

  • Recently backing up my ipad onto my macbook, which is the backup server for all of my gadgets.  This includes all my photos and tons of music.  The macbook said it could not backup the ipad because there was insufficient disc space to do so. What now?

    I have a macbook operating OSX10.6.7.  Recently backing up my ipad which had lots of photos from a recent vacation.  I use this laptop as the backup server for all of my gadgets so it has thousands of photos and tons of music.  It just told me that it couldn't back up the ipad bc there wasn't enough disc space.  I was afraid that this would happen eventually.  What next?  Newer laptop with more space?  I'm not sure what files I could sacrifice to free up more space as most of these are important.

    What size hard drive do you have in your MacBook? The cheapest options are, a larger internal hard drive, or an external drive. Or you could get a cheap desktop PC and network to it for storage. I've got one that lives in the hall with 3 Terabytes (That's 3000gb) of storage.
