There are no viruses for the iPad. Close the mail app and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Mail app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again.

You need to install Office on the computer from the installer DVD or disc image you purchased.

How to remove an add-on that won't uninstall

I have an add-on that has been fine and working in Firefox for a long time. I had been getting updates to the add-on and updates to Firefox. The last time I updated Firefox the little icon for the add-on disappeared from the toolbar. I thought that maybe in the last update that maybe it wasn't compatible and got disabled, but when I looked at the add-on list, there it was plain as day. So, I went to the website of the makers of the add-on and they said that if it wasn't working to uninstall it, but that's the problem I can't uninstall it. When I press the "uninstall" button, I get the "Do you want to uninstall XXXXX? and when I click "Uninstall" to continue the removal it just does nothing. So now I'm thinking, does this mean that I have to completely uninstall Firefox or can I go into the user profile directory and remove a file and manually force a removal.

Which extension are you referring to?
You can try to remove that extension in [[Safe mode]]
You can remove the folder where that extension is installed in the extensions folder in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] if uninstalling doesn't work.

I guess this is a "settings" question. I have tried all of the fixes you suggest to get rid of the "Firefox Was Recently Updated" window popping up as my home page. Anything else to try.

My normal home page no longer comes up when I start browsing. Your introductory page comes up and stays up, along with asking me a question about allowing information gathering.

That probably won't help if you have other software running that is protecting the file(s) in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Does it have any virtualization or sandbox features?
You can try to boot windows in Save mode (F8 on boot screen) to see if that makes it possible to remove the file.
You can also try a new profile to see if that works.<br />

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

Mail App won't let me reply/reply all to messages

Unfortunalty, I have a problem on my hands. My Mail application won't let me "Reply" or "Reply all" to certain messages. I noticed so far that I cannot reply to messages from the GMail domain. If I click on "Reply" or "Reply All", the buttons toggle like they have been clicked, but nothing happens. When I look in the Console application, I see the following entry every time I hit those two buttons:

Now, I also cannot attach anything to any message. This is a consistent problem that is a real pain! If I want to send an attachment, I have to go to the webmail portal and use that to send messages with attachements. When I click on the paperclip icon in the toolbar, I see this message in the Console application:

This problem in Mail is usually caused by some Launch Services cache or preferences corruption. The following article describes how to manually reset Launch Services -- the notes at the bottom of the article also provide information about the side effects of deleting each of the files involved:

It seems that the most appropriate utility for solving this particular problem is Tiger Cache Cleaner, but you may also want to consider other utilities, such as OnyX, or Cache Out X, which are free. Whatever utility you choose, be sure to read this first:

As an example, this is how you should proceed with OnyX:
1. Quit all applications.
2. Launch OnyX and enter your administrator password.
3. Click Maintenance. In the Reset section, check LaunchServices database.

Try booting up in Safe mode (holding down the Shift key while booting). If the software came with an unistaller, use it to remove alll traces of the software - it's nothing that you need and, as you've experienced, can do more actual hard than good (as is the case with most software of this type). When you're booted in Safe Mode, if you can't run an uninstaller, at least check to make sure that there are no Trend Micro items that are set for automatic log in, at least.

It's a Finder feature, related to Quick Look. You can hit the space bar in the file list to get a preview.
If that doesn't work, you may have an issue witha preference file or similar. I find rebuilding the launch databse works quite well resilving tis kind of thing, as does trashing Finder preferences

Reset ( No Data will be Lost )

Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
