How to remove annoying system-wide echo?

I've recently installed some audio apps, (Boom, Audio Hijack Pro, Piezo) and now I have this annoying echo that seems to be caused by some audio device.
I came to that conclusion after hooking up my headphones and hearing everything normally (it's also normal when sound comes from internal speakers)
Help, please.

I'm so embarrassed right now, I just noticed that I accidentaly pressed the "surround" button on my speakers.
I honestly didn't noticed it before and it has been like two days.

How remove saved system-wide default for a column

yesterday I saved a system-wide default for a column with a custom column heading and data format.
now, when I drag this column in a new analysis, obiee shows no column heading.
I've tried to save my custom default again or reset to column-default but with no results: the column heading is still empty.
How can I fix this problem?

What OBI version are you using?
Enter some other custom name for the column (e.g. same as default one) and save it as system-wide. I guess, you have already tried, but...
1. Stop Presentation Services.
2. Go under web catalog in the file system and locate folder \root\system\metadata. This folder contains files storing subject area attributes, including system-wide settings. I the folder find 2 files named similar as the subject area which column you have modified (name will be in lowercase, spaces replaced with +). For example, for "SA System" subject area these files are named as "sa+system" and "sa+system.atr".
3. Backup these 2 files you have found (better whole presentation catalog).
4. Try one of the options:
Option 1: If you have another version of these files (in the backup or other environments) - try to replace them. There is a risk you will loose some other column settings (or inherit new).
Option 2: Modify the file without extension (it contains XML code inside): locate the string similar to your column name. Remove whole section ONLY for the column you have found between tags <sawsavedformat:columnSavedFormat and </sawsavedformat:columnSavedFormat>.
Below is sample code for column originally named as "Pager" under "User" folder in "SA System" subject area.

Option 3: Just remove these 2 files. Naturally, you will loose all the settings, not only one you like to get rid off.
5. Restart presentation services.

Delete the Business System in your IR and ID, if any interfaces are developed under this BS.
See if any items in locked state...and also after deleting it...activate it and refresh the cache. this shud help
If you deleted from everywhere then it should not give that message.
Try after refresh cache using SXI_CACHE.
Finally Delete the BS from SLD
In general , that to be you are facing this type of problem only inthis situation , then you have to refresh SLD cache.

if yes,.Delete the sytem from tms domain. and TR route needs to be adjusted, if you are using ccms, remove the agent details from RZ21 also.
Does your production system data coming from SLD?
if yes, Delete the entry from SLD
if both the answer is no.
1.delete RFC from SOLMAN to the production systems.
2. delete the production system using SMT2 transaction.
3. Remove system rom SMSY from SOLMAN.

How to remove annoying POPUPS ON STARTUP C:\Windows\System32\igfxtray.exe

Hi -
After I on intel.com tried to upgrade my graphic driver Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family my screen at startup shows a popup-box with the text:
C:\Windows\System32\igfxtray.exe
I am asked to "Run" or "Cancel" but no matter what I choose the exact same popup is shown on startup again and I have to Click 3 times on Cancel to get the box disappear - It doesnt seem to influence on my use of the laptop but its a little annoying that its shows up.
On windows.com help forum I have followed some suggestions without help except the suggestion on open Regedit because many have told med not to mess around in the Regedit
I have with no succes asked this question on a forum within intel.com
Has anyone a suggestion what to do?

Hi
The igfxtray.exe seems to belongs to Intel driver and this file is a part of quick access software to the control panel via a System Tray icon for graphics based upon the Intel.
Usually you should see a small Intel display icon in the task bar in the right lower corner.
The igfxtray.exe controls this.
So you can also disable this in msconfig.
In search type msconfig. Then choose StarUp tab and choose remove the mark from the entry containing the igfxtray.exe
Now save the changes and reboot the unit
That should disable this popup.

0) backup
1) use consoleone to remove all eDirectory attributes from the users
(right click on them in GW view, edirectory association/remove)
2. Delete all distribution lists.
3. Delete all libraries
4. Delete all resources
5. Delete all external entities
6. Double click on domains, find the gateways delete them
7. Unload agents
8. Delete POAs, MTAs (these are child objects of pos, domains)
9. Delete Domains, POs
10. You should now have no GW related items
11. Remove Netware server from eDirectory (follow standard knowledgebase)
7 is optional
11 normally should be done with Netware server UP if possible.

How to remove annoying "Accessory Connected" screen - NO JAILBRAK!

I have accidentally discovered a way to disable the annoying "Accessory Connected" screen that surfaces when connected to some "bad" car radios. To make the change you need access to a "good" music accessory that does not trigger the "Accessory Connected" screen - eg a Bose boombox or a car with a radio that works properly.
1. Connect phone to the "good" accessory and start some music playing
2. Lock the phone with the top button while still connected to the "good" accessory
3. Disconnect the phone from the good accessory (don't stop the music, or anything - just unplug it)
4. Now go to the "bad" accessory and plug it in.
5. Unlock the phone - et voila - no more "Accessory Connected" screen!
As I say, I have not tested this rigorously and I am not 100% sure that I have correctly described what I accidentally did to get it to work. All I can say is that I can now plug my phone into any car stereo without getting that annoying screen!

How to remove a System Hold from an Cancelled Invoice in 11i

Hi All,
I have a Cancelled Invoice with "Dist Acct Invalid" hold that we need to release from the invoice.
After some analysis I found that there is an invalid account segment value in Invoice distribution that we need to correct.
But, I am not able to modify the distributions.
The invoice is imported from iExp and not accounted.
I am not sure whether it is because of canceletion or I am missing anything.
Please suggest a way out to modify a cancelled Invoice.

The ap_holds_pkg.quick release function will not release the following type of holds:
('DIST VARIANCE', 'NO RATE', 'CANT FUNDS CHECK', 'INSUFFICIENT FUNDS',
'FINAL MATCHING', 'FUTURE PERIOD', 'CANT TRY PO CLOSE',
'DIST ACCT INVALID', 'ERV ACCT INVALID', 'LIAB ACCT INVALID')
Even if you change the hold to a different hold type and use the quick_release procedure to release the hold, the item will not account.
I would recommend that you re-enable the distribution account. Once you have processed the accounting and sent the data to GL, you can disable the account again.

Hello!
I want to use the new oxygen-gtk engine, but at work I have no root rights. Thats why I installed the engine into an directory on my home directory. Now I have to tell GTK where to find this new engine. I tried the following solutions, but nothing works:
gtkrc-2.0: module_path: GTK_WARNING: module path now ignored
"GTK_PATH=/home/user/.gtk2.0/engines": does not work
Everytime I get:
Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "oxygen-gtk"
Is there any way to tell GTK where to find my user installed engine?

System Wide Text Substitutions

I hope this is the right discussion group for this question. I just discovered that 10.6 has the ability for applications like Text Edit to use automatic text substitutions so that if you type "teh" by accident it will automatically change to "the". This is a great feature since any single "i" will become "I" and so on. You can progran whatever you like. In word processors this would include auto capitalization etc.
Can anyone tell me why this feature does not work for Mail? I am certain more users use Mail than the y do Text Edit (a great programme by the way).
Does Apple intend to extend this feature to Mail in the future. It's always been a problem for me since I use Outlook at work and it includes all those features as part of the Office thing (including auto capitilization). It would really help the workflow of Mail if one could automate some of this stuff.

Use system-wide Text replacement to superscript characters? 1st, 2nd, etc

I wanted to use the new text substitution in Snow Leopard to transform typed "1st" and "2nd's" into their 'correct' form with superscripted numerical suffixes. I tried to just easy do it by copying a corrected form out of Pages where I had created a proper "1st,", "2nd," and so on, but when I would paste them into the system prefs pane, they would just paste as regular numerals & letters instead of the superscripted variety.
I then thought to see if I could find the proper superscripted letters in the character viewer but came up empty. Does anyone know of a way to get this working? it's minor and all, but would be a nice addition.

Sorry to be an *** about it, but everyone's always lambasting posters for not being clear enough or specific enough in what they're trying to do, and I was very clear about what I was asking and even in giving specifics on what i had done to try and remedy the situation myself.

pinch the heads together on the underside of the 2 small pins
they splay open like a rawl plug does
and pull them from the front
then once they are both out twist it to break the suction of the grease
