How to remove automatic signature?

I can't find a place to remove the "Sent from my Verizon wireless phone" from e-mail messages in the S III I got yesterday. What am I missing? Thanks, all.

I don't know if there's a way to remove it via e-mail settings or not. I don't have that phone, but on mine you can change it via the settings on each e-mail account. When I'm composing an e-mail, I also can highlight that "Sent from ..." phrase and delete it.

Actually i didn't find best answer for disabling items that automatically lauched when osx starting.
I've been removed all startup items from login startup items (System Preferences - User & Groups - Login Items).
Nothing found on StartupItems folder (Library - Startup Items) too.
But some items still automatically launched on Mac start (such as Splashtop Streamer, Busycall).
How to remove those startup items without completely uninstalling them?
Any help would by appreciated.

Those are system modifications, and if you want them to do what they do, they have to load at startup. If you don't like what they do, remove them according to the developer's instructions, or refer to the developer for support.

How to remove Jar signature in BouncyCastle jar file

My problem is: When I expand bcprov.jar (Bouncycastle) and then I pack it into a one jar file with my application and other expanded jar files, I getting an error about the signature of Bouncycastle).
I am using Ant to expand and create my jar file.

It's actually not easy to do it. There are various regexp ways of doing it. If you search you'll find them. But they are only partial solutions. What you really need to do is write an HTML parser, perhaps using Java's built-in HTML parser. That's the only way to really and truly extract text from HTML. It's a bit of an advanced programming task, though.

I am currently doing a stop-amimation using imovie '13 (10.0.2).
When I move photos into the movie sequence, they automacitcl have ken burns applyed.
Obviosly this is bad for a stop-animation, I need the whole photo and for it not to move!

Select project and click on Settings above the viewer. Against "Photos placement" choose "Fit" or "Crop" rather than "Zoom". This will prevent KB effect on new photos that are added. Exisiting ones you will have to change individually (or possibly copy and paste into a new project with Fit or Crop set - not sure if this will work).

I am broadcasting email with online link inserted into it.
At the end of the mail body, SAP inserts the online link (which makes sense ...), on which you have no control, but also inserts Broadcasting administration link, saying (in french) :
"Le lien suivant permet à l'expéditeur de cet e-mail ou à un administrateur de diffusion de modifier la liste des destinataires : http://"
I heard you could remove it, but how ?

Are you trying to change the language which user can understand ?? If this being the case in the receipent tab page of information broadcasting , there is a checkbox "User specific" , it takes user profile data into account and accordingly try to translate data into language which user understands.

   I activated digital Signature for Inpection lot for a material.
   Now when i am trying to remove the Digital Signature which was activated earlier i am unable to do this, could anybody help you in this regard.
   I removed the entries from Central Functions-> Authorization Groups
And even i modified the material for Inspection method .
But even after that also when i am trying to change the Inspection Usage it is asking for the Digital Signature

How to remove automatic file associations in Dreamweaver CS5?

When installing Dreamweaver, I chose to associate a broad array of file extensions with the program. I would like selectively remove some of these automatic file associations (e.g. .php). I have found this question posted several times, but never answered. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I should have been more specific that my ultimate goal was to have .php files not automatically associated with any program (so that I could modify the file extensions of some .php files). I don't believe this could be achieved by changing the automatic association via the operating system (because you must select another program to automatically associate with a given file type). However, my particular problem is resolved because I discovered that I could just deselect "hide extensions for known file types" in the "view" tab of "folder and search options". This way I could change the .php extensions even though they were still automatically associated with dreamweaver. Although this may be an obvious solution to many, I thought I would share it here in case anyone else finds themself stuck in the same way.

V37.0.2 how to remove automatic "New Tab" appearing?

since upgrading to v37.0.2, the new tab with blank (nothing on it) is appearing.
i would like to stop the "new tab" being opened/apearing when i start fx, and it seems to randomly appear (not sure what triggers it).
I would only like to have newTab feature, when i click the + mark.

If you open a new window then this window opens with the home page(s).
If you start Firefox then you get the page(s) as specified in the startup setting.
You can set the startup (home) page to about:newtab if you want to start with this page.

Hi I just got a Satellite P505-S8020 notebook. I was eager to try out the speakers because I was expecting great sound compared to my old laptop. but When i play music through itunes or windows media player or the web the sound is greatly compressed/limited. It is VERY annoying to be able to hear my music volume drop so suddenly when the beat kicks in or there is a loud part in the song, as if there is a compressor with a very long release running through the sound card. It has a conexant smart audio hd sound driver; Can anybody help me solve the issue; or is there a way I can replace the conexant smartaudio hd sound driver with another soundcards driver?

I don't have any Toshiba-related computer equipment -- just a Windows 7 Dell laptop computer - but my Dell laptop had the exact same EXTREMELY ANNOYING compression turned on BY DEFAULT, and your solution worked perfectly to disable it.
(I only noticed it now in 2014, because I never tried listening to music on this Windows 7 laptop before now.)
I wonder WHO listened to that miserable "enhancement feature", and thought that it sounded So Good, that it should be turned on by default, and its control hidden so cryptically, that someone would have to search computer forums to figure out how to disable it, so as to make their laptop SOUND "NORMAL"...
I guess they were taking to an extreme, the old addage that "the average consumer thinks that a sound which is LOUDER, sounds BETTER"...

How can I remove a signature on a PDF file that I created using Preview on iMac computer?? I inadvertently hit the icon on the Preview tool bar with an xS and a line through it. There is my signature in the middle of the PDF file I was editing. How do I get rid of it? Cannot select it. Cannot find any tools that allow me to delete it. The Preview documentation tells how to create and apply a signature, but not how to remove it. I think when a signature is added the doucment becomes locked from any editing.

The first two problems (box cycling from element to element on page, scroll bar returning to top) can be caused by a stuck (or defective) Tab key on the keyboard. Such damage can be caused by a liquid spill; just one tiny droplet is enough to short a wafer switch under one key.
The last issue (black box, white text - sounds sorta like a debugger window) I haven't seen, but could be caused by something similar.
To check for that, try using a different keyboard. If you're using a wireless keyboard, turn it off and see if the oddities stop.

Once you have saved the document, there is no way you can remove the signature.

How can I remove automatically scratches preserving the other areas of the photo?

I scanned negatives. Most of the scanned images show scratches.
For a given photo, I can easily remove manually all the very small scratches using Filter>Noise>Dust and Scratches>Radius = 1 and Threshold = 0 (Step 1). Then I can easily remove the remaining bigger scratches with the Spot Healing Brush Tool (Step 2). The only issue is that I have 13 000 photos to fix, and I don't have the time to correct them manually one at a time.
I have automated Step 1. How can I automate Step 2?
How can I automate Photoshop to scan a photo for scratches and when it find one apply a Spot Healing Brush Tool just on that spot with the required pen size?
Any other suggestions are welcome, as long as the quality of the picture is preserved and that the processing is automated.

Removing the bigger scratches cannot be automated.
Please do not be angry now - I don't want to offend you:
It is not reasonable to retouch all the 13000 pictures just now and one after another.
Not all the pics are of the same inestimable value and you never will need all of them at once for web galleries, a photo show or print.
And your digital photo frame is patient and is as happy with 25 pics as with 2500.
Therefore let the pictures sleep peacefully on your hard drive. It's good that you have digitized them and it's enough.
Someday you will need - say - 40 pictures for a gallery on your website, another day you want to make a gift of 3 pictures to a friend.
Then the day is come to retouch exactly these 40 or 3 pictures, individually.
