How to remove business catalyst theme?

Hello everyone, my problem is the following. Every time I upload a web to Catalyst, the default theme for catalyst doesn't go away. It's like the website it's inside the frame of the default them and I still have like the header and footer of the default theme. Any help I would appreciate it so much! Thanks!

Thanks for the help. I just uploaded the website again and it's working perfectly, im not sure what is the problem, or what I did, but i will soon upload a new website, if theres any trouble I will be posting the link to show what I mean. Thanks!

You'd want to start with Photoshop to design your website. After that there are several other tools that may help. You might like to use Dreamweaver to develop your website and upload it to Business Catalyst. There's other tools too like TypeKit for your custom fonts you might like to use. Thats for proper website design.
If you're into hack solutions you can use MUSE, but the code is automated so obviously not good code, and it's very limitted in what you can do with it. It's not scalable and the client can't manage their own website. Good if you're not a web agency, ie youre new to websites and you looking to buid a simple website for a friend that requires no functionality. I'd stay clear of this one and stick to native Business Catalyst.

Delete the Business System in your IR and ID, if any interfaces are developed under this BS.
See if any items in locked state...and also after deleting it...activate it and refresh the cache. this shud help
If you deleted from everywhere then it should not give that message.
Try after refresh cache using SXI_CACHE.
Finally Delete the BS from SLD
In general , that to be you are facing this type of problem only inthis situation , then you have to refresh SLD cache.

Hi,
the usage of the "UpdateWithSubDeletion" method of B1 object atom might be an option.
You need to update the complete business Partner with the changed amount of addresses.
The usage is tricky, you need to retrieve the BP, which you want to update, first via synchronous retrieval method using import/export mode.
From the retrieval result you should start to update every segment with all fields including the BPAddresses segment in exactly the same sorting order as displayed from the synchronous retrieval.

How to Remove Business place from Plant assignment

I have created a new plant by copying the existing plant. Business place assignment also got copied from existing plant. I don't want business place for my new plant.
I tried searching the Business place/Plant assingment in SPRO, eventhough there are many places (under Enterprise structure, Financial Accounting and Cross application components) we have this assignment, i couldn't see my new plant in any of those places and i am not sure how to remove this assignment. Can you please help me here?

First let me know what is the issue that you are facing.
Have you checked in the above mentioned nodes for business place & plant assignment.
If your assigned this business place for taxes postings(J_1IT030K_V settings). The check in the billing document from the new plant what is the tax code is being used in the tax condition records.
If the same tax code is being used in both the plants then try to create one new tax code & assing the same to the condition records of the new plant. Check the same.
Or Mention clearly that what issue that u are facing because of this assignments.

How do i cancel my business catalyst subscription

Hi
You can either delete the website, this will cancel the further invoices for the site. To delete the site, go to Admin panel, site settings-> site management, Delete the site. Make sure to backup the site, because once the site is deleted you cannot recover it.
Or you can submit a ticket request mentioning the site details, and support team will do it. To see how to submit ticket request, please follow this guideline,

I had extracted some of the objects from business content from FI such as General LEdger and Asset Accounting. After extracting it, my c drive is full and I am not able to open any other file. Hi,
You can right click on the objects (unused) and delete.
actually when you activate business content its version is changes from "D" Delivered to "A" Active but these objects will always be available as D version to you. Even if you delete the activated objects now & need those in future you can reactivate them.

BC advertises that you can host with them for free on 5 sites. How long can you host for free?

The free sites that you host with BC will be sync. with your subscription.
So basically it is connected with your subscription account , site expiration depends upon the subscription expiration.

Two ID 's in I cloud. How to remove one of them?

On my Ipad en phone i have already an apple ID. Now i've got a Mac and this needed an ID to. It refused to go with the excisting ID so i made a new one.
I have two ID's now and that's not smart because my documents are not syngronized on I cloud.
Anyone nows how I can delete one of the ID's ?

You can't delete an Apple ID, you can only log out of it.
Choose which ID you wish to use, log out of iCloud on the devices using the other ID and log back in using the ID details you wish to use. Take care with any data in calendars, contacts etc and make back ups of the data before loging out.

Muse; Business Catalyst; Ecommerce. Need input!

HEY EVERYBODY!
Alrighty then. Here's the situation.
Working in Muse, doing quite a few sites with it. Great stuff. Also a Business Catalyst Partner (Branding level soon! Woot!)
Let me get this out of the way first: I'm not a code expert. Hence the reason we were attracted to the Muse / BC solution in the first place. However, while I don't "do code" on a regular basis, I can make my way around with reasonable success using Firefox and Firebug to inspect elements and do "reverse engineering" where necessary. That said, again, Muse and BC as a business / marketing and ecommerce solution is very appealing with the concept of building the site and navigation in Muse and then inserting the modules via the "HTML" object is very sweet and a big timesaver and headache reducer.
Now that you have the basic "backstory", here is the issue at hand:
A couple of upcoming clients are going to be requesting ecommerce implemented on their sites. We are planning to design the site with Muse and then use the ecommerce function in the BC system in the Muse websites.
While I get the whole process of setting up a Muse page as a "template" for the BC system by inserting the "{tag_pagecontent}" HTML object and then letting BC populate the template or "skin" with it's pre-defined layouts for ecommerce and a number of other functions, we'd really like to know how to exercise a greater level of control in the layout of the page presenting such things as the landing page of the catalogs, the product pages, shopping cart, checkout, where the bread crumb navigation is placed, the shopping cart status location, etc.
We tried this by taking the tag elements on the module template pages within BC and inserting them into Muse, but are getting no connection between the pages and the catalogs we're trying to put into the pages. For example, we'd like to have the "4 across" products in the catalog on the right 2/3 of the page with another menu down the left side or space for promotional links within the site. At the same time, we'd like to be able to put the breadcrumbs above the menu on the left and the shopping cart summary at the top right of the page above all the art created in Muse.
Is any of this making sense to anyone else out there?
Ok, so now this is started, please, positive input only. I'm not looking for someone to come in here and tell me I need to start from Ground Zero and learn code so I can create everything in DW, etc. I mean, isn't that why Muse and BC exist in the first place?

Trouble with Business Catalyst FORM in Muse

I created a contact form at Business Catalyst, added it there to a published web page, copied the HTML, and inserted the HTML in Muse.
I placed the HTML on its own layer, and positioned it on the contact page, then edited it for style. This is what it looks like in Muse (image is cropped):
It looks identical when you Preview the page in Muse.
However, when I publish the site, the form is no longer on the top layer (but underneath the menu -a master page item- which in Muse is on a lower layer than the form); the form itself is positioned at 0,0 on the page, OUTSIDE the page boundary as specified in Muse, and all other page elements (except the master page items) are moved below the form vertically, but not together as designed in Muse: most (but not all) of them are stacked vertically at the bottom of the page.
In other words, the entire page layout is destroyed.
Here is what the published page looks like (image is cropped - upper-left corner is shown):
