Hi I bought my Xperia Ray from HongKong, i have tried to remove chinese keyboard from my writing languages but i cant.how can i remove it because i am using ENG and Farsi Keyboard, If chinese is there i can not use Farsi.Help Please!I updated my phone to 4.0.2.A.0.58, but again i have the same problem.

I think you are missing the point here. There is no known problem with the keyboard and it's functionality on the iPhone. You do not need to remove the keyboard to fix it. I have it installed and use it, it does not make symols appear when using other English keyboards. If you are seeing symbols entered unintentionally there is a problem with your iPhone's software. To see symbols you must add the Emoji keyboard to the keyboard list. Even then you must select this keyboard when typing a message and physically select the icon you want. It may be possible if you have a different keyboard selected, other than US English, that has some built in short cuts for symbol. The US English keyboard does not.
If you jailbroke and modified the iPhone's software in any way it may have messed up the keyboards functionality. I suppose any app you installed to enhance keyboard function may have effect it, but I don't believe Apple would allow it intentionally. Any chat app you use may come with it's own keyboard, changing the system keyboards will probably not fix them. Restore will fix any software issues the iPhone may have although if caused by an app it may come back when it is installed. Restore will erase media files which are not included in the iPhone backup files.
Discussing jailbreak procedures of iPhones here is prohibited and I do not recommend it to fix any issue. I only mention it since some people have problems with iPod/iPhones after they have jailbroke them but fail to mention it in their initial post. It gets futile trying to help someone with a very rare issue such as this and after many attempts to fix it you are told the iPhone is jailbroke which caused the problem.
Again the best fix here is to Restore it back to a clean iOS install using a back up. If it still does it Restore it as new and add apps till you see the problem appear.

If you are using a keyboard made by Apple, then you should normally choose US(Apple) keyboard to make sure that all the characters are typed the way they appear on the keys. If for some reason you are using a Windows keyboard, then you should normally use US instead of US(Apple).
The two versions exist because there can be differences between Apple and other keyboards.
It is not a good idea to "remove" anything. For info on how to deactivate a keyboard in a Windows system, you need to consult the Help for that system or ask in a Windows forum.

This notebook had soup spilled on the keyboard and now won't boot, even with a USB keyboard connected. I want to disconnect the internal keyboard, because it looks like that's what's causing the problem. (I have relevant experience.) But I can't see how to do that.

The first laptop keyboard replacement I did (not that I've done many) was guided by a technical manual downloaded from the IBM website. I suppose that's why I was optimistic. It was a few years ago and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that such manuals are no longer available from any manufacturer.

I'm actually an IT professional, though I don't have a lot of laptop hardware experience. I would normally turn away such work but this is for a relative.

That could be worth it if they gave a free quotation, but the laptop is approaching three years old so not worth spending very much money on.

Hi, the message board didn't give me the option to reply to the other topic, so I'm afraid I have to start a new post. I tried the instructions that R2D2 posted with my A60-152, took off all the keys and the thin black backing, but still can't find where the screws are to remove the optical drive.

Hi... thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Having removed the keyboard, it turns out that on my particular model of laptop it's a screw on the underside of the unit that actually holds the optical drive in place. Not sure I actually had to take the keyboard off at all! Thanks for making me check for that - I probably would have destroyed the whole machine looking for the right screw otherwise!

as an app, put it on the Dock, and click it to activate it. However, seems simpler just to put the FF icon on the Dock and a single click launches it. Why would you want a service or AS to do the same thing?

How to remove US Keyboard option from Finder menu

Hi,
I'm using a new iMac (OS 10.7.4) and was wondereing if it possible to stop my machine from constantly changing the input menu from "Britsh" to "U.S.". This is the item with the small national flag icon in the Finder menu.
Is there a way of removing one of these options permanently, in my case remove the U.S. option?

Go to System Pref > Language & Text > Input Sources where you can select British and deselect any US input source.

Stabilize, not warp stabilize the shot, make your corrections on a separate layer, then re-introduce the motion to the shot and add it to the new layer. Here's the basic technique on a completely different type of shot.

ThinkPad Yoga - Keyboard key stucks - how to remove it correctly

Hi everybody,
this is maybe a simple and stupid question but I won't do anything wrong.
One of my keyboard keys does not work correctly, I think there is something under the key which is blocking because when I press the key I feel a stronger resistance than on the other keys. Sometimes I need to press the key 3 or 4 times before the letter is written - realy annoying
Obviously I should remove the key and clean it or remove whatever is under the key. Since my ThinkPad Yoga is quite new I don't want to damage it or lose my warrenty through "learning by doing"...
So can anybody tell me how to remove a key from the ThinkPad Yoga keyboard correctly and reassemble it correctly as well? -> without any damage

I found this video for "ThinkPad keyboards" - however, like you mentioned the lift and lock keyboard is probably a special case.

Apple will not sell the non user upgradeable part to regular customer.
You can bring your macbook to apple store and they will replace it for you, or you can visit local apple authorized service center within your area (might be cheaper than apple store).
The cost is depend and they have to checked it first and see if only the keyboard that failed or the component underneath it also damaged.
If your keys is the only thing that broken, you can follow Mort link and order the individual plain keys from ebay.
Be advise if you open it yourself and thing get worst, you will void your macbook warranty (if there is any warranty still applied).

How to unlock my phone when I removed a keyboard

Ok big problem, I started typing in Arabic, got the hang of it, I just devoloped a hatered with it cause I would have to switch keyboards when I would have to text people and clicking on the "globe" button over and over and over again JUST to get to english was ******* me off. So I removed the keyboard. Then I get a text, slide to unlock and I forgot that my password was in ARABIC!! So how can I unlock my phone? somebody please tell me!

You'll have to back it up, then restore it using iTunes on the last comuter it was synced with, assuming you synced the phone after this passcode was set on it. After the phone restores you will be given the option to restore to the backup. When finished, the passcode will be removed from the phone.

Silas is right. The keyboard is secured with 2 screws which must be removed.
These screws are hidden under the thin cover near to the keyboard.
Please be careful! The keyboard is connected to the motherboard with the flat cable!
I dont know your notebook experience but if you dont know how to do it I would recommend contacting the technician for a help!
