How to remove all CIM in SLD

goto SLD-> software catalog -> products / s/w components...
now when u open any particuler product, the ris an button of REMOVE, click tht to remove tht product and all its related components else,
select ur component u want to delete and then again click REMOVE, u will be deleting only tht componenet...
so u need not delete all the components or products, just the ones u dont find useful...

How to remove a list from a page ?

I added a list to a page and then later decided it would be easier to add the list to page 0. Now I can't find how to remove the list from the page.

Ok sorry I understood you wrong then.
I tried to recontruct your problem and did the following things.
1. Created a new list in: Home>Application Builder>Application 305>Shared Components>Lists>Create / Edit List
2. Created a new region on page 2: Home>Application Builder>Application 305>Page 2>Create Region Type: List, Name:"test1"
3. Created a new region on page 1: Home>Application Builder>Application 305>Page 1>Create Region Type: List, Name: "test2"
4. Deleted region "test1" on page 2
5. List and region still survived on page 1. :D

How to Remove svn:needs-lock property in subversion

Hi All:
I am having problems with subversion and JDeveloper. We were using TortoiseSVN in 10g, and I am trying to exclusively use JDeveloper svn in 11g (11.1.1.4). We have a common business components .jar file that defines all our entities and allows everyone to use these entities already defined.. After losing a bunch of entities through a mistaken delete, we put the svn:needs-lock property on all the entity definitions of this .jar file. The problem appears to be that JDeveloper svn does not lock the assoc.xml file even when I lock the upper levels, which prevents me from changing names and organizing by function our associations. This leads to question #1, is this a known issue? The assoc.xml file is not visable through JDeveloper 11.1.1.4, so I cannot manually lock it.
So I am wanting to remove the property svn:needs-lock from the entities so that I can use JDeveloper svn since we have discovered that there is a problem using JDeveloper svn with TortoiseSVN. Files seem to become corrupt. This leads to question#2, Does anyone know how to remove the svn:needs-lock property using JDeveloper snv?
When I display the properties, there is no remove functionality, just "delete". When I click on delete, I am asked if I want to delete the ENTITY and all its files. That is not what I want to do. I know how to delete svn:needs-lock in TortoiseSVN, but hoped to do it in JDeveloper. Is there a way, or is this functionality missing from JDeveloper SVN?

Thank you for your response...after using both TortoiseSVN and JDeveloper svn, I have found that neither one handles locking properly. Even though the functionality is in both, there are a variety of problems that I have run across that have wasted an awful lot of my time. It really shouldn't take an entire day to commit something to a repository, but that is what I have found to be the case because of all the problems I am running into. Perhaps now that I have removed the locking, things will be simpler. And I did use TortoiseSVN to remove the svn:needs-lock property from the files.
I prefer to use JDeveloper svn since the tool integration with svn has worked better for us with the automatic filtering, etc.
I was hoping to get a response from one of the JDeveloper 'aces' as to whether it is a known problem that the assoc.xml file doesn't get locked and cannot get locked manually in JDeveloper svn AND is someone at JDeveloper aware that there appears to be no way to remove svn properties after they are added on a file....
....Any aces out there reading this forum?

How to Remove Business place from Plant assignment

Hi All,
I have created a new plant by copying the existing plant. Business place assignment also got copied from existing plant. I don't want business place for my new plant.
I tried searching the Business place/Plant assingment in SPRO, eventhough there are many places (under Enterprise structure, Financial Accounting and Cross application components) we have this assignment, i couldn't see my new plant in any of those places and i am not sure how to remove this assignment. Can you please help me here?

First let me know what is the issue that you are facing.
Have you checked in the above mentioned nodes for business place & plant assignment.
If your assigned this business place for taxes postings(J_1IT030K_V settings). The check in the billing document from the new plant what is the tax code is being used in the tax condition records.
If the same tax code is being used in both the plants then try to create one new tax code & assing the same to the condition records of the new plant. Check the same.
Or Mention clearly that what issue that u are facing because of this assignments.

How to remove a cell renderer

I have been looking through the apis and search but to no sucess. I have tried a few different remove methods but none seem to be working. Does anyone know how to remove a cell renderer.

What do you mean "remove a cell renderer".
What component or class are you talking about? I'm only aware of renderers being used by Swing components. If thats the case then the question should be posted in the Swing forum.
What do you mean by remove? If you remove the renderer how would the cell be renderered. Do you mean that you want the cell to use the default cell renderer?
What component are you talking about? I'm aware of renderers for JTree, JTable, JList, JComboBox.
If I had to guess I would think you are talking about a JTable, so I would suggest simple setting the renderer to null for the particular column.
If that doesn't work then you can always use the getDefaultRenderer(...) method and then reset the column that way?
But you question is not very clear so Its a lot of guess work on my part.

How to remove OSX.Flashback-8?

I have been infected with a OSX.Flashback-8 based on ClamXav. I need help removing it. I am not a Unix user, so I am having trouble finding and removing files from another user account. Please help.
Here is a summary of what has happened in order:
1- Skype would give an error "Skype quit unexpectedly".
2- Then I noticed Office gave the same error.
3- I joined the Skype quit discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3080937?start=15&tstart=0
4- Disk utility also found and repaired disk permissions. (see more on this on the previous thread)
5- Based on advice I received from folks on that site; I installed ClamXav. (Sophos wasn't finding anything).
6- Then using Terminal I did:

7- I found out "This is almost a sure sign of infection by the Flashback Trojan. "
8- ClamXav found a "heuristics.phishing.email.spoofeddomain" in an 1469.emlx IMAP email account.
9- Current day:
My problem got worse. I moved /Users/Shared/.libgmalloc.dylib into another directory.

It locked me and I couldn't do anything else. Got these messages.

I tried rebooting. Now I can't even log in anymore. I created another admin account and am trying to change users on Unix shell to log in as the initial user and try to move back the .libgmalloc.dylib.

Now, I really need help figuring out how to remove this, and access my first admin account.
I am very new to Unix. Have been trying "su username" but it doesn't accept my password. Can you possibly send me a short script to get me to:
1- switch users to the old user account, so I can access the files
2- view and move the .libgmalloc.dylib file into the old location.
3- tell me the way to remove OSX.Flashback-8?
My plan is to log in to the old account, delete all files.
Alternatively, can you tell me how to:
- Remove this user completely.
- OR go back to the original factory settings and start all over.
I am not worried about losing data. All was backed-up.
Please help. I really want to be done with this issue once and for all.

You installed a variant of what’s commonly called the “Flashback” malware, although the name is obsolete.
If you’re certain you know when that happened, and you back up with Time Machine or something similar, you can save yourself a lot of time by restoring your whole system from the most recent snapshot taken before it was infected. Then take Steps 7, 8, and 10 below.
How can you tell when the infection took place? All you can be sure of is that you were infected some time before the problems started. You may have visited a blog that prompted you to install some kind of software, or a “certificate.” If you remember doing that recently, mention it in a reply, but don’t post a link.
If you don’t know when you were infected, there's no easy, reliable way to remove the malware, because it's constantly changing. There are differences of opinion on this site as to the best of course of action, so you should do your own research before deciding how to proceed.
I suggest you take the following steps:
1. Back up all data to at least two different devices, if you haven't already done so.
2. Boot from your recovery partition (if running Mac OS X 10.7 or later) or your installation disc (if running an earlier version of the Mac OS), launch Disk Utility, and erase the startup volume. This action will destroy all data on the volume, so you must be sure of your backups.
3. Install the Mac OS.
4. Reboot and go through the initial setup process to create an account with the same name as your old one. Don’t import anything from your backups at this stage.
5. If running Mac OS X 10.6.x or earlier, run Software Update. You may have to run it more than once to fully update your system.
6. Restore the contents of the top-level subfolders of your home folder except “Library” from the most recent backup. The Library folder may contain components of the malware. It’s best not to restore anything from there. If you must do so, restore only files, not folders, and only if (a) they’re visible in the Finder, and (b) you know what they are, and (c) they haven’t been altered. Don’t restore anything in the home subfolder Library/LaunchAgents, if it exists, or any hidden files or folders, no matter where they are.
7. If you’re running Mac OS X 10.5.8 or earlier, launch Safari and select Safari ▹ Preferences… ▹ Security from the menu bar. Uncheck the box labeled Enable Java. Because of known bugs, Java in those OS versions is unsafe to use on the Internet. (Note: I’m not referring to JavaScript, which is unrelated to Java, despite the similar names.) If you’re running Mac OS 10.6.8 or later, you should still disable the Java web plugin unless you really need it. Few websites have legitimate Java content nowadays. If you encounter one that does, enable Java temporarily.
8. Change every Internet password you have, starting with banking passwords. Check all financial accounts for unauthorized transactions. Take this step only after you’ve secured your system in the preceding steps, not before.
9. Reinstall your third-party software from fresh downloads or original media, not from backups which may be contaminated.
10. If you use any third-party web browsers, disable Java in their preferences. As with step 7, this step is mandatory if you’re running any version of Mac OS X older than 10.6. Otherwise it’s optional, but recommended.

Audio Unit Manager: How to remove references to deleted files?

I upgraded my NI software. Replaced Guitar Rig 4 with Guitar Rig 5.
Removed the Guitar Rig 4 components from both system and user Audio/Plugins/Components
directories.
The now-removed plug-ins are still showing in Logic's Audio Unit Manager. Of course they fail validation,
and aren't used. But, leaves a messy listing, and causes other programs (Live, Kore) to also list them try to valid,
and fail.
Any ideas on how to remove these references??

I would love to know this too. I have the worst plug in in the world ( Universal UVI Player) haging around my system although I removed it from all "visible' places.

when I used JPanel.emove( JLabel ), the label was removed from the panel, but the other labels in this panel were not rearranged, this left an empty slot where the removed label had been laid. So I ask for a method that could rearrange components

How to Remove X1900

I'd like to clean out the dust from my X1900 and I'm unsure of how to remove the radeon graphics card. Is it hard to do so? Or is it just a few screws and then it pops out like a hard drive would? To get the dust out of it can I use air in a can and just blow it all out?

Yes, but be careful not to blast cold air/liquid onto hot components. Best to let the system cool down completely before you blow it out.

How to remove blank pages from WebI Report in view page layout option

Hi,
I am working in Business Objects XIR2 environment. I have a WebI report with several sections. I need to show the report as a book with 69 sections (each section on new page). there are 69 sections on cost center and each cost center section has almost 10 sections embedded in it. When i see in regular view - I only see 69 pages but when I try to see in "View Page Lay out" option, there is one blank page added after each results page.
Please let me know how to remove this blank page. I need to give users the option to download the book as PDF on to their machine. Now, when I download to my machine, I see one blank page after each results page.

Jus convert your report in Page Layout mode and see if your first pafe is getting expand in the second page.
Now check if there are any cell going into second page.
- if there are any blank cell which is there after table.
you have to check formating very carefull.
