How to Remove Computer Added Mysteriously and Without NMagic!

Don't know how but on my NMagic map there is now a mysterious new computer which I didn't add. I can't figure out how to get rid of it since it also says I need to install NMagic on that mysterious computer. If I install it on that computer which is non-existent, then I'll really be installing it twice on my desktop (which, yes, is already in the network map). Does anyone know how to get rid of a ghost computer which has showed up in my NM map? Geesh!!! Email at [email protected] if you can help. Thanks!

Just an FYI I had xcode 3.2 installed on my snow leopard system and have today just installed Lion and I just cleaned and rebuilt an App I had developed prior to the Lion install to test to see if it would work. I was told it would but wanted to make sure and it successfully rebuilt and works in the simulator.
My issue is a bit different I need to install 4.1 WITHOUT corrupting my 3.2 installation as I may have to go back to rebuild a 3.2 App as we had a fairly unique setup for our xcode. The problem as I see it currently is I do not know how LION installs things in LION xcode is an App downloaded from the App store but I need to be able to download to something other than the default directories and I am not sure if I have that option in LION when installing an App(xcode) from the App Store

Iam facing problem in customizing default edit mode of portlet, my question is how to remove those default buttons and how to implement our own links for SAVE and CANCEL functionality. Because if we implement our own <form> in edit JSP page then default form will override our own <form> and default buttons works rather then our own forms.
Please someone help me on this.

Ah, this one is easy, if im not mistaken, set this tag in your provider.xml
<renderCustomize>false</renderCustomize>
Defines whether RenderManager should automatically render the portlet's container (border and title) in "Edit" and "EditDefaults" modes before and after processing/invoking the page.
This however means you have to write your own renderer for the customize page. Then you can add your own code for the buttons and the events behind them.
I created my own derived container and added this line to my provider.xml
<containerRenderer class="nl.rsm.eventCalendar.myContainerRenderer"/>
This is however for rendering the showmode of the servlet, dont know if this is the same
render class for the editmode.
Do you realy need custom save functionality, Oracle also has something called DBPreferenceStore, you can store self defined attributes into the database. Perhaps this is sufficiant enough.

Google analytics is a service for webmasters which collects statistics about usage of their websites. Not sure how that would affect website users - unless you installed a GA extension. If you got it, it can be uninstalled just like the other two extensions.

Fix Some Browser Pop-ups That Take Over Safari.
Common pop-ups include a message saying the government has seized your computer and you must pay to have it released (often called "Moneypak"), or a phony message saying that your computer has been infected, and you need to call a tech support number (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it resolved. First, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and your computer has not been affected. This "hijack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so do not pay any money, call the listed number, or provide any personal information. This article will outline the solution to dismiss the pop-up.
Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
Relaunch Safari
If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.
This will not work in all cases. The shift key must be held at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window reappears. In these circumstances, after force quitting Safari, turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then relaunch Safari normally. We migrated the ESS application from standalone ITS based on 4.6c to ECC 6 based Integrated one. After converting that into ICF service and when we created the iview for it in the portal(EP 7) It is showing two hyperlink items EXIT and HELP by default at the top of every iview. So, Can anybody tell me how to remove them from visibility.
And also, the iviews are not showing the table grids etc in the integrated environment. Is there any change that need to be done, for getting the table grids and all to look as it is in the previous envoronment.

Hello Ravi,
You should be aware that many of the ESS transaction are not supported on the Integrated ITS, see note 870126 for more details.
To remove the "Exit" and "Help" you can use the ~webgui_simple_toolbar parameter, please see note 1010519.
Some tables have an option to show the gridlines or not. Please see if there is a table options icon in the upper right of the table to change the configuration. I'm not sure if what kind of table you're referring to so it may or may not be available.

I am trying to remove a font file and its mapping from the XML Publisher Administrator. If this is not possible, is there a way to disable it?
The reason why I am asking this is because we just got a new check printer, and I was able to print just fine. However, the MICR font was not coming up properly on the check, so I went ahead and configured the font with the XML Publisher Administrator. Now my check output is coming up blank after running the XML report publisher program. The only change I did was to upload the MICR font and mapped it.
My template and rdf report file are working fine in another environment we have, so I know that's not the problem.
Any help is appreciate it.

1. Select Personalize Page link at top right of page.
2. Select Choose context button.
3. In the scope drop down box select OA Footer.
4. Click on apply.
5. Expand privacy.
6. Click on personalize pencil icon.
7. Set Rendered property to false at required level.
8. Click on apply.
9. Click on Return to Application link.

I don't use facebook or Twitter and I shouldn't have to see references to them in the settings section or the "share" dropdowns of Safari, the photo management screens, or anywhere else. Can anyone tell me how to remove these references?

To the best of my knowledge you can't.
You can try going into the settings and restrictions and turn them off and see if that makes the icons disappear (probably won't) but there's no way to select the icons you want.

JLayeredPane problem: How to remove object added at specific depth in

JLayeredPane?
For instance, I have a class called BlobEvolution. In that class, I have an array of JLayeredPanes squrares[row][col][depth]. I add an object Blob, to a new LayeredPane cell, using the statement LayeredPane cell=new LayeredPaine();
cell.add(Blob, new Integer(2));, then I add the cell to a contentPane using contentPane.add(cell). I set squares[row][col][0] to point to cell, and squares[row][col][2] refers to the blob object in the cell.
but now I want to remove a certain layer from the cell and repaint that cell to display only the deeper contents of the cell. Or I want to remove the blob in the cell, which is always at depth 2 in the cell. How would I do that? And how do I repaint only that cell?

By the way, both objects that I add to the layeredpanes extend JLayeredPanes.
I actually tried to do this remove call: squares[row][col][0].remove(2);
I was trying to point to the cell layeredpane that contains the two objects, blob, and plankton. blob was placed at depth 2, so I tried to remove the depth 2 component. but I get an ArrayIndexOutofBounds Exception and it says no such child:2. java.awt.Container.getComponent(Container.java:237)

BlobEvolution.removeblob(BlobEvolutioin.java:133)
That's essentially the error message I get in the console. Obviously, it's the remove statement above that's giving me the problem, but I don't know what's wrong with it and how to fix it.

How to remove computer from iCloud

I completely refreshed my father's laptop but inadvertently used my iCloud login when I went through the new system setup wizard. I subsequently logged out iCloud on his laptop then logged in to his own iCloud account, but everytime I setup my own devices (e.g. just got and setup a new MacBook Pro laptop), I always get messages on my other sync'ed devices that the such-and-such account/device was added to my father's laptop device. ANNOYING.
But logging onto iCloud's website, I see no obvious means to manage the different devices assoicated with my iCloud account, nor are there any such management features on my OS devices.
And I never set it up under "Find my Mac" so it's not listed under my iCloud "Find" devices.
So how do I permanently remove a device from being associated with my iCloud account?

does anyone know how to really delete icloud from my computer, and if you do can you tell me how.
