How to remove dashboards

Hi ,
We have a new RPD (BI analyticsApps). It has so many dasboards by default in presentation services. How can i clean those Dasboards. I want to build my own Dashboards.
Thanks

You can either delete or hide the existing dashboards using Manage Interactive Dashboards from Administration. Incase you don't want to make use of any pre-built dashboard then just give a default name say your project name in instanceconfig.xml file and restart your services. This will automatically create a blank catalog and then you can go for creating custom dashboards....

  • How To Remove Dashboard Link?

    Hi there,
    Is it possible to remove the link when we click the dashboard name ??
    Here you can see what I mean?
    http://www.acibadem.com.tr/images/upload/DASHBOARD.png
    Thank you for your help
    Regards.

    Please check instanceconfig.xml and confirm if you have an entry similar to the following follows :
    <DashboardMaxBeforeMenu>2</DashboardMaxBeforeMenu>
    This tells BI server how many dashboards need to be in a shared folder before it displays as a drop down, set this to a higher number and when you click the dashboard name, it should take you there with no additional clicks required.
    Im guessing its set to '1' in your environment, so even though there is only 1 dashboard (as per your screenshot example) its using the drop down.

  • How to Remove 'Powered by Oracle' Image for specific  Dashboard

    Hi,
    How to remove 'Powered by Oracle' from dashboard, if so is itpossible to hide for specific dashboard.
    Thanks,
    Malli.

    Hi,
    The below code can be used to hide the Powered by Oracle logo in a specific dashboard.
    <script language="javascript">
    window.onload=hideImg;
    function hideImg(){
    var all = document.getElementsByTagName("img");
    for (var i=0, max=all.length; i < max; i++) {
         var imgName = all.getAttribute("src");
         if(imgName.substring(imgName.lastIndexOf("/")+1) == "siebelbug.gif"){
              all[i].style.visibility='hidden';
    </script>
    Open the dashboard, place a text object on it, open properties and copy/paste the above code as is. Check the option 'Contains HTML Markup'. Basically the above code searches for the image 'siebelbug.gif' (Powered by Oracle logo) and hides it as soon as the page is loaded. I have tested this in 10.1.3.4 version.
    Hope it helps!!

  • How to remove a source from health

    So silly me allowed the link for the Weight Watchers app to Health when asked.  After playing with it, I don't want it linked.  Anyone figure out how to REMOVE a source?  It's the only source I have linked, I go to the sources screen, I see weight watchers, but when I click it just takes me to the part asking what items I want it to share.  I have them all off, but there is no remove option that I can find.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Kellie,
    The iPhone User guide details how to go about disconnecting apps from Health.
    Stop sharing data. Tap Sources at the bottom of the Health screen, then select the app in the Apps list. Or tap the associated parameter in your Dashboard or in the Health Data list, tap Share Data, then choose the app under Share Data With.

  • How to remove shelf beneath dock?

    Under previous OS X releases it was easy to remove the shelf beneath the dock leaving just icons and little white lights under those icons in use.  To do that you would:
    How to remove the Leopard Dock shelf
    Got to:
    Macintosh HD
    System
    Library
    Core Services
    Click on Dock.app and hit Show Package
    Contents
    Resources
    Remove these graphics:
    frontline.png
    scurve-xl.png
    scurve-sm.png
    scurve-m.png
    scurve-l.png
    Copy them to another folder
    then delete them
    Now go to Applications/Utilities/Termarinal App
    Type:  killall Dock
    Now when you burrow down to the png images in the Resources folder you can find/remove the frontline.png image but the "scurve" images are no longer there and Apple has probably renamed them something else.
    The shelf is one of the most annoying aspects of the desktop.  It isn't cute or clever but detracts for the overall look and takes up far too much screen space at the bottom of the page.
    Has anyone figured out which images must now be deleted from Mountain Lion to effectively remove the dock shelf?

    Here's the answer:  A free application called TransDock X from nothinggoes dot com.  Go there, download, install - you'll have to open your preferences -> security and change Mountain Lion's default restricting you to using only 'authorized' (i.e., App Store only) applications to "any" applications then run TransDock X.
    Does a beautiful job.  Removes the shelf entirely.
    You may wonder why I dislike the shelf so much.  I run my Mac Pro using two 30" Cinema Displays.  That's 5 feet of display.  When the shelf is displayed I can't figure out what apps are running because the little white light beneath them is now so close in color to the shelf itself.  AND, the shelf simply takes up too much screen space, is distracting and very annoying.  Remove it and all you see are your favorite or most used Dock app icons and if any are in use there is just a little bright light shining beneath them.
    By using "spacers" I can display my Dock apps in groups - systems apps like iTunes, Mail, App Store, Dashboard, Finder, Launchpad as one group then a space and the next group: EyeTV, Media Editors, Toast, Apperture, Final Cut Pro, and others followed by another spacer and another group for TextMate, Pages, FireFox, Safari, SeaMonkey, etc.
    Apple should give the user the option of many screen features including the ability to remove the shelf.
    BTW - here's how you add spacers to your Dock as well as a Recent Applications Stack or Grid:
    Add Spacers to the Dock
    If you want to divide the applications in your Dock into groups, the best way is to add spacers. A common method is to create "fake" applications with an invisible icon to fill the space, but that is a bit inelegant. A much better way, available in Leopard, is to use a Terminal Command. Each time you run the command it inserts a blank "space" into your Dock, which you can then drag around to where you like.
    Start by opening up Terminal, located in Applications/Utilities. Type the following line and then hit enter:
    defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-apps -array-add '{tile-data={}; tile-type="spacer-tile";}'
    For the changes to take effect you will have to restart the Dock, either by logging out and in again or by running the killall Dock command in the Terminal. The spacer appears at the end of the icons that are permanently in the Dock. You can then drag it along to where you want it.
    Dock Spacers
    The above command inserts the spacer on the applications side of the Dock. To insert a spacer on the right hand side, use the following command:
    defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-others -array-add '{tile-data={}; tile-type="spacer-tile";}'
    As always, you will have to run killall Dock for changes to take effect (open the Terminal app and type: killall Dock - the Dock will disappear and come back up with the changes. To add multiple spacers just run the command again and again. Note that you can use the "up" arrow in terminal to automatically enter the last run command.
    If you want to remove a spacer, treat it like any other icon in the Dock. Either drag it off and let go to get a nice puff of smoke, or right-click on it and choose "Remove from Dock".  And, of course, you can drag spacers throughout the Dock line to separate groups of apps.
    Add a Recent Applications Stack
    You can add a Recent Applications stack to the Dock. To do so, open Terminal and type this command:
    defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-others -array-add '{ "tile-data" = { "list-type" = 1; }; "tile-type" = "recents-tile"; }'
    After that, type killall Dock in the Terminal to restart the Dock and see your new folder. This is a great little Dock icon for using an app you used recently but is not generally held in your Dock.
    Enjoy!

  • How to display dashboard on My Homepage

    How do you display a dashboard on the homepage? I haven't had success trying to create a custom report using the dashboard and my attempt at using a web applet hasn't turned out well either. Thanks in advance!

    Totally - Just create a "replacement" Home Page and assign it in the Tab Access and Order (i.e. you won't be using the OOTB Home page)
    Here's how:
    Create your dashboard normally. (manage dashboards)
    Execute the Dashboard and copy the URL to input the variables to follow
    Create a new "Custom Web Tab" (Admin => Application Customization)
    Name it "Home Page" or something similar to that
    In the URL paste the following:
    https://secure-ausomxPOD.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/analytics/saw.dll?Dashboard&PortalPath=%2fshared%2fCompany_XXXXX_Shared_Folder%2f_portal%2fName+of+Dashboard+Here
    Variables:
    POD => is your POD
    XXXXX => numeric number identifying your company
    Name+of+Dashboard+Here => should be obvious
    Now assign the "Home Page" tab to the Role you want to see it (put it first in Tab order, and remove the OOTB Home Page)

    Hi,
    Probelm is OBIEE on your machine.Some one might have deleted pdf option.
    Refer : http://obiee101.blogspot.com/2009/07/obiee-dashboard-default-controls.html
    Try to find out tag that is to be removed from controlmessages.xl so that you have only HTML.
    Update :
    Stop BI Server.Try removing below tag and restart server.
    (sawm:if name="enablePDF">(a class="NQWMenuItem" name="pdf" href="javascript:void(null)" onclick="return PortalPrint('@{pdfURL}[javaScriptString]',@{bNewWindow});">

  • How to remove/reduce the default space between two sections ?

    How to remove/reduce the default space between two sections on the dashboards?

    if you make a modification of the Dashboardlayout in the file PortalContent.css like
    .SectionTable {
    margin-bottom: 2px;
    width: 100%;
    border-width: 1px;
    border-style: none;
    border-color: #CECECE;
    There will be no more borders. However the gap exists but the look of the 2-section report might look better.
    There is an ER raised at the Oracle Support.
    Enhancement 5655489: ABILITY FOR USERS TO CONTROL THE GAP LENGTH BETWEEN REPORTS AND SECTIONS
    Hope it helps you..

  • How to remove blank pages from WebI Report in view page layout option

    Hi,
             I am working in Business Objects XIR2 environment. I have a WebI report with several sections. I need to show the report as a book with 69 sections (each section on new page). there are 69 sections on cost center and each cost center section has almost 10 sections embedded in it. When i see in regular view - I only see 69 pages but when I try to see in "View Page Lay out" option, there is one blank page added after each results page.
    Please let me know how to remove this blank page. I need to give users the option to download the book as PDF on to their machine. Now, when I download to my machine, I see one blank page after each results page.
    Thanks in advance.

    Jus convert your report in Page Layout mode and see if your first pafe is getting expand in the second page.
    Now check if there are any cell going into second page.
    - if there are any blank cell which is there after table.
    you have to check formating very carefull.
