How to remove Decimals in Quantity Objects in SAP BO Explorer View created on top SAP Bex Query?

Hi,
I created SAP BO Explorer report on top of SAP BEx Query.
In SAP BEx Query, Decimals were hided but when i created OLAP Universe on top that SAP BEx Query and Created Index on top of Information Space in SAP BO Explorer and then created Exploration Views. But i'm getting Decimals in my Exploration Views where as SAP BEx Query in RSRT, no decimals were appearing.
Can anyone suggest me how to remove decimals in SAP BO Exploration Views.

I am not use how you connect to SAP BEx query (Via universe or BWA or HANA)
What I could say is BWA and HANA, you cannot adjust this
For universe, you could try in universe layer, there is note about this
For BWA and HANA, this function might be enhanced but you 'd better raise OSS to SAP to check with them

I am able to create characteristic variables
but i can't find option to create text variables.
What's the requirement to create Text variables in Bex Q.D.
When i try to create Text variable for 0calDay.. the variable type is characteristic by Default and disabled.
How can i create text variables related to 0CalDay with which i need to work in Customer Exit.

You have to create characteristic variable processing by Customer Exit by considering 0CalDay as a Reference Characteristic
After creation of the above variable, you restrict your KF with the above created variable.
Now you can create a Text variable for the description of your KF. This way it works...........

I would recommend to let your SAP Basis guys do a security trace on the SAP BW side and see if some authorization check for the user fails when trying to fetch data over the universe.

How to remove all scripts on object instances?

I'm looking for any kind of solution here, besides disabling the warning.
I hate it when I'm converting someone else's AS2 project to AS3, and there's code buried on an onstage instance somewhere, which gives me the warning:
"Actions on button or MovieClip instances are not supported in ActionScript 3.0. All scripts on object instances will be ignored."
How can I:
     A) Find which instances have code on them.
          or
     B) Remove all code on all instances.
Idea:
Can I save as a different format/version/something and lose this data somehow. Then I could convert it back its current FLA format?

It would be advisable to change your ID to something else .... you might be asked to do the same by the other moderators also... try to give a name instead... makes it much easier and generally SAP would refer to the package on an SAP forum....

How to remove a camera mount object from a fixed location persistent through the entire video

Hi there,
by design a part of my camera mount appears at a fixed location through the entire length of my video. While the scene in the background is usually rotating from left to right or right to left the camera mount is always at the same location of the visual field. How can I remove it using Adobe After Effects CC (2014)? I have seen others doing that but the process appears to be very labour intensive. See for instance:

Is there a built-in feature in After Effects, which can allow for a single-click removal after say the shape of the camera mount is outlined in a given frame? Can the "void" generated after the removal be automatically filled in with the background image?
I have searched the FAQ but could not find an answer, so I please point me to the right location if this question has been already asked and answered.

The water is going to be very problematic. Mocha Pro is a viable option but there are others using basically the same technique of time shifting the background image. You can do this entirely by hand if you stabilize the shot draw a mask around the offending object, adjust the timing of a copy of the stabilized shot so the background fills the hole, and then removing the stabilization. You can also just use Mocha AE for this kind of time shifting background replacement.
The camera mount coming out of the backpack on the boat will present a lot of problems because the camera is attached to the mount. Tracking the mount won't work, but tracking and stabilizing the boat may. The distortion caused by the extreme wide angle lens is also gong to cause problems when cloning the background because the distortion is not linear and as the scene changes areas of the scene that could be used to fill the hole from the removed camera mount would not necessarily fit. As long as the camera is moving in relation to the boat you may be able to remove most of the mount, but it's going to require some hand painting where the pole is close to the body and attached to the backpack because the background is always hidden by the mount.
The shot on the roof is much easier to handle. As the camera swings around the scene the background will change so a simple mask and time shift should take care of most of the replacement. I would just use Tracking and time shift to fill the hole and scale as necessary.
As another option you can use a program called SunthEyes to create a clean plate from shots like these. If you have the budget that may be a good option. No matter what the option is, the water is going to cause you more problems than anything else because water ripples are random.

Is the EA a unit? whatever it is you could try and use the formula selection No Dimension NODIM(xxx) and this will return only the value.

How to create a variable in Bex Query Designer

Hi guys,
I am writing a query for a travel management report using the SAP Standard cube. I would like to restrict the query so it only shows me the last two months excluding the current month. I have checked BI content in RSA1, but I canu2019t find a relevant SAP standard variable that I can use.
Can anyone please tell me if I can create my own? And if so, how I can do this.

lets say u want to display following picture:
sept$-----august$

so in Query designer go to Default values section.
Bring in Calendar month
right click calendar month
and hit Restrict
now select variable
use standard sap variable Current Month.
hit okey
now select Variable and hit Red button
Result u restricted current month.
in columns bring in keyfigure $
right click and hit edit
bring in time field calendar month
right click and hit restrict
bring in Current month
right click and select - SET OFFSET FOR VARIABLE
select -1
hit okey
repeat the above process
and this time select offset = -2
this way u restricted current month
but displayed last 2 months for keyfigure values.

Iam not able to push back that char. from my operating concern. In help it is given you have to delete the data contents in the table before pushing back. Please let me know if any other option available.

How to remove blank data from a byte array. Suppose I created a byte array as byte[] b = new byte[8192] and i read the data as inputstream.read(b). If the data that has been received is only 1000 bytes length, how to find out how much data has been read or how to delete that blank 7192 bytes of data?

1) Always try to sidestep this by allocating only the necessary amount of space required...
2) If 1 is not possible, you will have to index byte for byte how much data was read into the array which
denotes reading byte for byte... not ideal as this is relatively slow...

Hi James,
You can create variables in the BEx Query by right clicking on your characteristic and then selecting Restrict. A pop up window will appear. On the left side of the pop-up window, right click on a white space and then select New Variable. The Variable Wizard will then appear - you can now create your variable acording to your specifications. For more info on variables, please click on the link below:
