How to remove directories under Loops Search Setup?

Hi, I want to move my sound effects loops to an external firewire drive to free up 20+ GB. In Soundtrack Pro when I go into Loops Search Setup, where the list of Directories being indexed is displayed, the "-" icon at the top for "remove directory" is greyed out--no matter which directory I select. How do I get this to work?

Is there an answer to this issue? In the thousands of pages of manuals for FCS2, there isn't a single mention of this issue, and nothing online seems to turn up the answer. Could somebody, please, post how to do this!

You cannot remove the simulation loop alone because all the functions kept inside that loop will work inside that loop only. If you have to remove means then you have to find another way to inplement the PID control.
The best solution is the one you find it by yourself

How to remove Babylon from the search engine menu?

My OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit; using Firefox ver 15.0. I downloaded Babylon tool bar and related apps because they were associated with a tool manual that I wanted to review. I then discovered how invasive these apps are. Successfully removed Babylon downloader and Tool bar via Start | Control Panel | program menu. However I notice that "Search the web (Babylon)" is still listed in the drop down menu of search engine options. I have defaulted my search engine to Google, and I can delete the Babylon option, but it returns every time when I close my browser and then return to my FF Mozilla home page. How can I permanently remove Babylon as a search engine option?

How to remove SWFs under another SWF?

I'm using the following code to link to other pages:

Now the code works fine and such, this is more of something I'm curious about!
When I use that code, I'm assuming that 'biology.swf' is simply placed over the current SWF that is open (as I can still hear the music even though I've gone away from that particular page). Is this correct?
And then I'm just wondering if there is a simple way to remove that current SWF and replace it with the new one ('biology.swf)? (I use this code in various pages to link them all together, and I think the more a user navigates around the pages it really slows down the whole program!)
I have slight knowledge that in Actionscript 2 you assigned a SWF to a particular layer, but I'm not sure how to go about it in AS3!
Any help is appreciated! (I'm a beginner so please forgive my ignorance!)

Assuming that this is on the main timeline, I suggest creating sprites that hold each one of the SWFS that you create, so then you can have something like the following:
     var bioHolder:Sprite;

     if( !bioHolder) //holder doesn't exist? create it
          bioHolder = new Sprite();
     var loadPage:Loader = new Loader();     //create new loader
     this.addChild( bioHolder );     //ad holder to parent

     loadPage.load(new URLRequest( _url ) ); //load loader
private function removeBioPage():void{
     this.removeChild( bioHolder );
     bioHolder.removeAllChildren();
     bioHolder = null;
That should let you add and remove pages as needed. Then you could set up an array that holds the holder Sprites if you have alot / dynamic pages that you need to manage.

How to remove "Items" in the Search Header Component

Hi guys
I'm hoping some of you can help me out with this problem.
In my collection renderer, I have entered "SearchHeaderComponent,this", which has given me the Searchheadercomponent, that I was interested in. Unfortunately I'm only interested in the "No search results" and "Did you mean..." functions of the Searchheadercomponent, I am NOT interested in the "Items" and "Sort By" functions.
I thought these changes had to be done in the Search Options Set via "Enable Item Selection" and "Enable Sorting of Search Results", but if I deselect these it yields no changes.
Could anyone give me a good piece of advice on this issue?
And if anyone knows of any documentation on SearchHeaderComponents except http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a6/98955203cf0e4698ffa95bac071c2b/frameset.htm, I would really appreciate it and I don't forget to reward points.

No, sorry, I haven't stumbled across anything at this point. You should know though, that I don't have the need to develop my own search header component, I just want to be able to disable sort by and items from the standard search header component.
I dont believe that there is a guide for developing search header components, but if you're lucky Matthias Röbig-Landau or Thilo Brandt from SAP sees this message, and replies. I'm sure they know if any documentation on developing a search header component is available.

I read the article on how to remove Bing; however, it does not show up on my list of installed programs and it does not show up in the list of extenstions under "Tools" and "Addon" yet it is installed as an extention to the right of the addlress line.

You installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "VSearch" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.

Open Firefox -> Go to View -> Toolbars -> Chechmark on "Navigation Toolbar"
this will bring back your address bar (where you type links to go to websites :P )

If you are using an unsecured or shared wireless network, then it could be just another user's computer name. If your sharing settings are correct, you have no worry. However, It would appear that at least some of the other user's settings are less than optimal inasmuch as his/hers is openly being displayed.
The next time you check into a hotel and use their wireless network, you are likely to see a number of other user's computers. Some just the name, as they share no files. While others are wide open, and their file sharing is on.
