How to remove itunes account name from imessages

Just activated a new phone and everyone I said an imessage too is receiving the text with my apple id name at the top. how do I have it show as from my contact name or phone number and not my apple email address.

If it were me I'd go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
This will wipe all of your info, apps, music, etc, from the phone and allow your sister to set it up "as new" with her own iTunes and AT&T accounts.
This procedure can take a while so I'd have the phone plugged in and allow a couple of hours for it to complete =0)

Unfortunately, there is no way in Outlook to change or remove the name or message header which is being displayed at the top of a printed message. It is tied to the Display Name of your email account which you can’t modify yourself for an Exchange account.

Another option is use the normal BPM for 1: N message flow. The use a simple java mapping that will introduce a dynamic configuration and you can create the file name as you want. the java mapping will be used in the flow of messages from BPM to target system.

How to remove my phone number from iMessage?

Hi. I recently gave up my iPhone to switch to a non-Apple device. While I had the iPhone, my phone number was used for iMessage.
Now when my friends using iPhone try to send me a message, it automatically select iMessage as Apple recognises my mobile number as an iMessage number even though I don't have an iPhone anymore. Is there any way to remove my phone number from Apple's iMessage database?

I have exactly the same problem. I ported my number to an Android phone, and kept my iphone to use as an Ipod touch. I have taken the sim card out, wiped the phone. put the sim card back in to restore and turned off imessage completely. Nothing works. Its like my phone number is stored on some Apple imessage server somewhere and any of my friends iphones automatically see my number as an iphone still and default to imessage. Then the messages they send are never received by anything. My only course of action is to ask them to turn their imessaging service off. It is deeply frustrating.
I also tried to check if it was registered but it apparently never was (I had bought a refurbished iphone from AT&T). If I login to my apple profile their are no products registered.
Apple needs to get this fixed pronto, because some of us are still customers even though we may have switched our phones. And I am not a very happy customer right now.

My stuff is on my mom's computer / itunes, and I don't know how to transfer / remove it. For example, she has a whole Beauty and the Beast album that I downloaded, but she did not, and somehow it's on her computer, not mine. Also, when updating apps, it asks for my password for some of them. 1. Move the song files to your computer and then delete them from hers; if needed, right-click them in iTunes and show them in the Windows Explorer.
2. Sign in with her Apple ID, and delete and redownload the applications which are asking for your password.

Hello. I have a used computer that has the original user's iTunes songs, apps, etc. on it. I tried to sync my ipod and it just added my stuff to his.
How can I get rid of all the original owner's stuff and leave mine?

How do remove my phone number from imessage and only use email?

I do not have a data plan on my iphone so i cant use imesssage when not in wifi. so in order for me to be able to be apart of my friends group messages without having to turn imesssage on and off i need to only use my email address, but it will not let me send and recieve messages from only my email.

you can't from the iPad.
Go to iTunes on a computer, log in with your apple ID and select 'account'.
After that , select 'payment method' and select 'none'.
