How to Remove Nike +Ipod Tab from Itunes, Iphone Summary folder

I stupidly plugged in my Iphone 3Gs to a new Matrix Nike bike at the gym. When I sync'd my Iphone to my desktop Imac today I noticed this new tab (Nike +Ipod) in my Iphone summary folder menu tabs.
The built-in Nike app that is listed in settings on my Iphone is off. I'm not interested in tracking my workouts or anything from Nike. Just want the folder tab gone from Itunes.
How do I delete this tab from Itunes on my computer?
No more plugging it at the gym for me. Thanks for the help. Alice

I too tested out the nike+ and want to remove the tab that has now appeared in my iTunes summary!
I turned off the the app on my iPhone and still it appears. Nothing in Prefs either.

How can I remove the apple ID from my Iphone and install another apple ID?

Remove it from where ? If for the stores then you can log out of an account by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and you can then log in with a different account - but any content that was downloaded by the currently logged in account will remain tied to it, so only that account can potentially redownload those items, download updates to its apps and do in-app purchases in them.
If you mean for the cloud then Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and you can then log in with a different account

  • How to remove a credit card from itunes account?

I had a $100 prepaid visa gift card and after spending most of it I had a few dollars left and decided to put the credit card on my itunes account. I bought a few songs and used up the rest of my money. Now I have apps that need to be updated and it keeps telling me to verify my billing information and what not. So basically it won't let me update my apps. Is there a way to remove the credit card from my account? I don't have another credit card to put on my itunes account, this was just a prepaid visa card that is not rechargable so I can't put more money on it. What can I do?

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.  If you are doing it on your iPod then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account  - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

  • Does anyone know how to remove books/ePub files from iTunes

    Hi.
    I need help.
I read a lot of book from my iPad.
I have no problem gelting my books from iTunes to iPad. Problem is, now there is lot lot of books in iTunes, and tis difficult to figure out which i havnet read. So how do i remove them from iTunes. Hope there is a way.

    Hello Zentha,
You can definitely delete the books from iTunes!  It is the same as deleting anything else from iTunes:
Delete an item from your library
Click the item to select it, and press the Delete key.
    Click Delete Item.
    Do one of the following:
Remove the item only from your iTunes library: Click Keep File.
Delete the item from your computer: Click Move to Recycle Bin. The item is removed the next time you empty the Recycle Bin.

  • TS1566 How to remove an incomplete download from itunes store on iPhone?

    Hi,
I have recently purchased an HD movie from itune store using my mobile. Being a 16 gb iphone4 with numerous other aps and playlists already cluttering the phone, I  had no room for downloding the 4.8GB  movie file on my phone. Hence I constantly see the movie being attempted be automatically downloaded which throws up an error.
I have already downloaded the movie on my home computer and do not wish to download the movie on my phone. And most certainly want the incomplete movie download to be deleted.
How do I do it. Is there any way apple can stop the file from reflecting on my phone?

first you sync your phone with itunes and remove the broken files from the itunes library.then resync the phone.:)

  • How to remove other account purchases from itunes?

My stuff is on my mom's computer / itunes, and I don't know how to transfer / remove it. For example, she has a whole Beauty and the Beast album that I downloaded, but she did not, and somehow it's on her computer, not mine. Also, when updating apps, it asks for my password for some of them. I don't know how our accounts got merged, but I'd really like to make itunes more user-friendly for her so she actually knows how to use it without it yelling at her all the time. Thanks!!!

    1. Move the song files to your computer and then delete them from hers; if needed, right-click them in iTunes and show them in the Windows Explorer.
    2. Sign in with her Apple ID, and delete and redownload the applications which are asking for your password.

Not sure what you are getting at... as...
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?

  • How to remove old Facebook faces from iTunes Sync of iPhoto pictures

    Hey,
I'm using iPhoto since years for collecting and managing all of my pictures.
Some years ago I allowed iPhoto to connect to Facebook in order to sync pictures and compare names with faces.
After soe weeks I just deleted this function in order to let iPhoto manage my pictures and faces alone.
Now after the last update of Mavericks and iTunes I'm quite wondering why iTunes displays all the delected faces  from the facebook integration years ago as an option to sync faces to my iPhone. (but this faces or even names are no longer available in iPhoto library)
Does anyone know how to solve this.
    Thank you very much indeed

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought. The strange thing is every place I look it is correct. The mail account on my Mac is correct and functioning properly. The entries in the MobileMe System Preference is correct as well.
Is there anyway to force iTunes to update the mail accounts listed or would i have to backup and then deleted the mail account on my Mac and redefine it. Would that work?
The reason I am trying to get the sync to work is to try and get another problem resolved. My MobileMe Calendar and Contacts are not syncing wirelessly to my iPhone (although mail works fine). I've read in some cases syncing through iTunes will sometimes resolve this issue.
    Thanks again

  • How to remove the "Firefox" tab from XP?

I can get rid of it from the first FF window if I enable "Menu bar". However, this doesn't work when I open a new window from the first FF window.
I hate it simply because it's a window inside a window when that "Firefox" tab shows. That means you get two sets of minimise, maximise and the X buttons!
    Any idea pls?
    Thanks

Try the Firefox SafeMode. <br />
    ''A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.'' <br />
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)''
    # You can open the Firefox 4.0 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    # Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running. <br />
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.''
If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

  • How to remove bank account info from itunes

My phone was stolen and now someone is trying to log into facetime.
I can't find how to report the phone stolen either on Apple site.  I am in Thailand by the way.

In order to reset your password, go to appleid.apple.com, log in, on the left side you'll see Password and Security, you can use that section to reset your password.
    appleid.apple.com
If you forget your password, you can reset it this way as well:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HE36
You can also change your iTunes Store account information following this article:
    iTunes: Changing Account Information
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1918
Apple also doesn't have a system in place for reporting stolen or lost devices so take a look at this article for some information:

  • How to remove a stripped screw from an iPhone 4?

Since APPLE is so kind as to tell me "You broke your iPhone's home button, you can replace the phone for $200 I decided I'll just open it up and replace it myself!" I just recently went to replace my iPhone 4 screen/home button and find a stripped screw that's connected the battery to the phone. How would I remove such a small stripped screw?
I heard using a Screw Extractor, but what size would I need to do this?

    Thank you, that's very helpful.
I was able to get this to work for deleting single song, but it simply ignored me when I tried to delete whole albums or artists. As there are many thousands of Christmas tracks, deleting one by one was not an option.
When I first started to research this I was not able to find any posts on the subject (because I did not know about the left swipe to delete gesture and so did not search for it). Now that I know I found this post which gives a number of different ways to do this:
    http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-1276850.html
At first I tried this option:
If you are trying to batchdelete all music on an iOS device, it can be done.
    1) Settings > General > Usage
    2) Let the Storage settings load.
    3) Click on Music...on next screen, swipe anddelete.
That does zap everything, but it suited my purposes. At first I though this was working, lots of tracks started to go back into the cloud (although this does not happen allat once, it seems to do it in the background over a period of time). The usage screen said I had free space on the iPad, but when I plugged it into iTunes the iPad showed as full and the tracks were all still listed under music.
    So I tried this:
You can turn off iTunesmatch and then sync a very small number of tracks via iTunes, which shouldreplace the downloaded tracks with the synced tracks. Then turn Match back on.It's a pain but that is the only way I have found to mass delete.
Which did the trick, but is something of a nuclear option.
Looks like Apple have some work to do here. Deleting a track at a time or everything in one go is too clumsy. You need to be able to delete Albums, Artists or Genres in the sameway you can delete songs. I wish there was a way of reporting bugs like this to Apple, but short of signing up to be a developer, there does not seem to be away. If anyone reading this is a developer, perhaps you can get a paste the text into a bug report.

  • Nike + iPod tab missing in iTunes 11

What happened to the nike + ipod tab for my iPhone in iTunes 11?  I upgraded to iTunes 11, my iPhone 3GS is on iOS 6.01 and I no longer see the Nike + iPod tab in iTunes to sync my workouts to Nike+.

It looks like in iOS 6 on my iPhone the Settings has a section for Nike + iPod where you configure the upload workout data to Nike+.   Apparently this function now works directly from the iPhone rather than through iTunes.
