Remove Device from PC but My's iPhone was lost, How to remove or return status of Device on PC for find it?
If it automatically reappears in the devices list. If you still have access to the device, you can prevent it from reappearing by turning off Find My iPhone?

I did copy it to my desktop, but it still won't let me open it. I think the file on the disc might be corrupt or something like that though the cd itself checks out fine as far as viruses go. I was able to verify the disc, but that's about it. My husband tried it on his iMac and we have the same issue. It's unzipping the folder, but won't let us open the folder on both the Mac Book Pro or the iMac by double clicking, going to file/open or right clicking. It just keeps saying the same message as I posted above. I think I'm just going to have the client put the pictures on either a memory card or a USB memory stick so she won't have to compress the files for zipping purposes. It's been too frustrating trying to open this folder on this cd she gave me. She said she created/zipped the cd on her Mac Book Pro but it sure won't open on mine.

That probably means that you're not looking at a bug in Photoshop, but a problem with a driver - and the most likely cause would be your video card driver.
And sure enough, your video card driver is almost 2 years out of date.
Please go to NVidia's website and get the latest driver - then follow their directions for installation (so you don't get bits of old driver left over).

Charges showed up in a text message late last night for something I have no idea about. It says to dial *611 to remove them. Well that would be all right but I pushed every number on the menu trying to figure out where to go to remove this charge. You then get the sub-menus with no clearer choice. What a crock! I am so mad! I really want to jack around with a phone trying to play the "let's see if you can figure out how to remove this charge that you didn't ask for game". I am ready to throw the thing thru a window! Anybody know the magic "combo" on me menus they give you? Thanks!

You can log into your on-line MyVerizon account or call Customer Service and block premium texts. If you speak with Customer Service, they'll sometimes remove the charge if it's the first time it's occurred. If you dial *611 to talk with Customer Service, press 4 and then say 'agent'.

How to remove the worksets from the Top level navigation for the ESS role.

I am working on enabling and disabling certain services in the ESS worksets.
we are using EP 7.0, ECC 6.0 (NW2004s).
When I login as a user with ESS role, I can view the changes in the overview pages. However, the worksets are still visible in the TOP Level navigation of th poral. can anyone please explain me how to remove the workset from the Top level navigation.

Hi,
Go to the ESS role via Content Admin, then double click the workset (or page or iview) and in the drop down select navigation. Then click the Yes radio button of the "Invisible in Navigation" property.

How can I see the status of Rejected Documents sent for Approval from KM

You can see if a document is rejected from KM folder in which the document is there .From the document level(which you have sent) click on the arrow and select Details . A new Window opens up .Now go to Actions>>approval .You will see the name of the approver who has rejected your document .Now you can resend it or skip it . This is how you do it .

Are you getting only CR or CR+LF (line feed) ?
In this case - CRLF - you can use content conversion in your sender adapter:
<recordset_structure>.fieldSeparator = 'nl'
So in your receiver adapter you can replace any special char by 'nl' again.

How to remove red X status from the WSUS console

We have one machine which is unable to install update KB2847077. After many unsuccessful attempts we decided to simply hide it on the user's laptop Windows Update screen, as it is not a crucial update to install.
My question is, now that we told Windows to ignore the update on the local machine, how do I remove the failed "red x" status in the WSUS management console?

You don't. That is the current and accurate status of that update on that client. The last attempted installation failed.
The real question here is WHY it failed, and remediating that issue. Merely hiding it may make the symptom go away, but it doesn't solve the problem, and next time the *problem* may be more critical than a trivial WMP update.

How to remove carraige return from the field while loading external table

I am facing an issue of not getting rid of carraige returns present in the fileds of the source .csv file while loading the records into external table.
I had tried using LRTRIM, but it does not help.
The error I am getting is:
KUP-04021: field formatting error for field POPULATION_DESCRIPTION
KUP-04037: terminator not found
I am pasting one record out of the .csv file which is causing this error as below:
"Business Card Accounts
",123,7 BizCard - Gamers,Control,"Business Card Accounts
",75270,75271
You can see the carraige return in the 1st field as well as 5th field. Filed are separated by commas & eclosed by double quotes.
Could anybody help on this please?

Can you copy the file to an external table only version, and then dos2unix it?
Alternatively, you can use the ACCESS PARAMETERS area in your external table definition to set that your RECORDS DELIMITED BY carriage returns, instead of the default.

It sounds like your computer is becoming unresponsive whenever you plug in any USB device that has or takes photos, because iPhoto launches automatically and takes a while to open. You can change this preference in iPhoto itself to open either iPhoto, Image Capture, or no application at all when you connect a device:
iPhoto '11: Change what happens when you connect a camera to your computer
To choose the application that opens:
Make sure no cameras are connected to your computer.
Choose iPhoto > Preferences, and then click General.
Choose an option from the “Connecting camera opens” pop-up menu.
The title of the article mentions iPhoto '11 but the same steps hold true for iPhoto 2013.

How to remove "restore old status box"

Whenever I open Firefox I get a box below the Google entry bar that asks "Restore old status" or words to that effect. There is no way to tell the box (icon) to go away, I don't want to restore a previous string/status. If I leave the box alone I can continue without problems, but I don't want the box there. I was able to get rid of the box by right clicking on it and left clicking "stop", but that doesn't seem to work anymore. I find this extremely annoying.

Firefox 4 and later versions use a new build-in home page named about:home with a Google search bar on it. 
That about:home page only shows some snippets and has a button to restore the previous session if applicable.
If you want a home page without the Restore Previous Session then set another page as the home page like www.google.com or www.google.com/firefox used in Firefox 3 versions.

Greetings, I am trying to insert a slideshow widget inot a dreamweaver site using a dynamic web template (DWT). I get the error message unable to insert because header is read only. Any ideas of how to fix this?

If you are not an expert or at least highly proficient at modifying XHTML and CSS code, you should NOT be working with DWT files. Until you FULLY understand how to edit and modify nested, editable, parent and child regions, you will have nothing but trouble working with DWTs.
I've been writing CSS, HTML and XHTML for seven years and I don't mess with DWTs because I'll admit I'm a control freak and I can't stand having any part of a web page locked up by another file.
Use the pre-designed pages in DW, or download a layout from one of the many sites that have them, but until you are an expert at codework, stay away from templates (dwt). You'll save yourself a lot of headaches.

The issue is I am getting a red line below each set methods as I have shown by underlining. I am struggling with how to rectify the error.When I write ORDER and write . after it , it shows only get methods in the popup not the set methods.

I will try one more time to make certain you are doing what should work. You can all share the same Apple ID, and you can associate multiple email addresses with the Apple ID. Each device has to have the Send and Receive appropriate email for that person checked but no check mark by the other person's address. To do this you would go into iMessage under Settings in each device and make certain the Start new messages from is also checked next to the correct email only.

You don't "remove" an Apple ID. You just log out of an Apple ID and log into a different Apple ID.
The tricky part is that there are multiple places (in the Apple ecosystem) that lets you (requires you) to log into an Apple ID. For example, iTunes Store, App Store, iCloud, email, etc.
Buying apps in the App Store for your Mac is easy because the app stays on your drive regardless with what Apple ID you purchased that app. You don't have to be logged in to use a specific app. You only need to log in again if you need to update that app.
On iOS, the story is a bit different. You can only be logged in with one Apple ID. and whatever apps or songs you purchased with that Apple ID will show up. Log in to a different Apple ID and you have only access to those purchases. Luckily this will get a little bit easier with the new Family Share ID thing promised to be in the upcoming iOS8.

HP 4385 all in one returns message "This device not configured for networking"

This happens just after the point in the install when I have attached USB and wireless data seemingly has been transferred to the Printer. This all started when I needed to do a re-install after a Vista upgrade.
I did reset the printer to Factory settings. I am using latest install software from HP Site. I have tried to resolve this with HP CHAT with no luck. Obviously I have tried this install several times now I even tried it with the printer within inches of my router.

Print a Wireless Test from the front of the printer. It will self-test the components of the printer, including its radio.
1. Press the Wireless button on the front of the HP All-in-One.
2. Press the button next to the icon on the display until Wireless Network Test is highlighted, and then press the button next to OK. The Wireless Network Test prints.
