How to remove red eyes

How do yoy remove red eyes with PS.

I like to use a Hue/Saturation layer.  Use the RGB dropdown to select red, and lower the saturation. Invert the layer mask, and paint the effect back in with white.  Or use the Hue slider to change the red to something more pleasing, but there be monsters if you dare to take this route.

  • How to remove red eye from you video with adobe premiere elements?

I would be greatful if someone could let me know how to remove red eye from a video, which I will be using for my acting reel. Thank you!

What version of Premiere Elements do you have and on what computer operating system is it running?
Do you have an integrated set of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements (such as 10/10, 11/11)?
How long is this person with the red eye viewed?
There are two possibilities that I can think of, but I would have to work it through with the actual footage and adapt accordingly.
    1. Keying and color correction.
    2. In Premiere Elements, do a freeze frame (in Freeze Frame dialog, Edit in Photoshop Elements after Insertion + Insert in Movie Option + adjustment of duration of the Freeze Frame bmp).
In Photoshop Elements, Red Eye Tool if possible or other color correction tool there.
How did you ever get red eye in video?

  • Can I remove red eye in Final Cut Pro X?

I've imported over a thousand pictures from iPhoto of my trip to California, and was wondering if I could remove red eye from photos without having to go back to iPhoto, fix the red eye, then reimport.

    matthew97 wrote:
OK, I thought he was saying that since consumer apps already do it, a professional app has to have the feature. Anyways, I guess I'll just have to reimport it.
Many of the Pro users are (rightly IMO) very ticked off with FCP X as it no longer supports many important Pro features that they use daily and is currently unsuitable for use by many for commercial/professional work.
(For hobbyists/amateurs, myself included, it will probably do very nicely as a step up from basic video editors available on the Mac and at a fraction of the price of the old suite which I couldn't justify buying).

  • Why when I edit a picture with photo to remove red eyes an then open in Snapseed red eyes are still there?

    Hi
Firstofall I must excuse for my really bad English
I have ann iPad 2 updated with IOS 5.0.1.  I use camaraderie connection kit to import photos from the SD memory card.  Then I browse them with the default photo app, and I make some corrections like removing red eyes effect.  Then if I open the corrected photo with Snapseed the red eyes appear again.  I have tried many times and I am sure that I save changes.  If I browse the photos again I see it correctly.  It is like corrections are not really stored in the picture but Ina sidecar file.
    Thanks in advance!!!!

    Thanks for your answer razmee209!!
Yes, and it shows the picture with corrections..  This is what is strange to me.
I'm amateur photographer and on computer I use Adobe Lightroom.  There when a edition is made, changes are not stored in the original file, but written in a separate xmp file or in the catalog.  So if you try to open an edited photo you cannot see corrections.  To get the corrected file in another app you need to export the photo, this is create a new file with the correncions applied in it.  For me it seems like photo app in IOS work like that.

  • Removing red eye

Can any one help me to remove red eye in photo uploaded using jsp

Most red eye remooval programs are interactive and require the user to select a section of the picture that contains the red eye. If you can manage to find a red eye removal tool that can scan and identify red eye in a picture without user interaction and it contains a command line execution mode you could simply exec this tool and pass the uploaded file to the tool. My guess is finding such a tool may be difficult. Perhaps google can help you with this.

  • "Remove Red Eye" Sync?

    Hi,
I'm using LR 1.3.1, with some JPEG files.
The thing is this: The "Remove Red Eye" syncs no mather I don't check to be sync-ed -actually, there's no "check box" for sync "Remove Red Eye" inside the "Syncronize Settings" dialog-.
I found that the "Remove Red Eye" sets syncronize when I press "Check all" inside the "Syncronize Settings" dialog.
So I have to uncheck something so the "Remove Red Eye" doesn't sync.
    Help? Thanks!
    ... and Happy 2008!

I say hidden, because if I press "Check None" in the "Synchronize Settings" dialog and then manually select every check box inside the "Synchronize Settings" dialog; the "Red Eye Removal" sets don't sync.

  • Remove red eye bug?

I am using the latest verision of iphoto to edit some pictures and remove the red eye. I have done so in all but one picture that if I do it, it creates like a black eye under the persons eye.
    is this fixable?

See if using this tip can help limit the red eye removal to just the pupil:
How to Change the Size of the Retouch and Red-Eye Removal Tool
    Type Caps lockControl9
    Undo caps lock
Click on the Retouch or Red-Eye Removal tool
The tab key will toggle between cursor types, a cross or a circle
The "[" and "]" keys decrease or increase the size accordingly.
NOTE: Using the "{" "}" keys will will change the value next to the circle and that represents the degree of change or intensity that the tool imparts on each pass.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB file backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Canon PS ELPH 150- How to override Red Eye Correction

How do you override the "Red Eye Correction" when it displays, "cannot be modified"? Is there no "manual" way to correct red eye?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Try the software approach. You'll find you can correct red eye, horizons, exposure etc very quickly once you play around with Picasa. I use it for the majority of my editing & I have to edit many 1000's of photos per year.

  • Does anyone know how to remove white eye that iphone flash creates in photos?

I know the white eyes are created by the LED flash in the iphone, but it ruins all the pictures with flash.  If it was red eye which is created by a normal flash DLSR, its an easy fix, but the white eye is created on people, not pets.  Any suggestions?  I can't seem to find an app that addresses this.

The label that is with the pin. Touch the blue arrow to the side of it and then touch where it says Remove Pin.
EDIT: I just re-read what you said. If it is a red pin, it is from a searched address. In that one, you have to cancel the search and the pin will go away.

  • Remove red eye

This question was posted in response to the following article: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/photoshop/cs/using/WSfd1234e1c4b69f30ea53e41001031ab64-7601a.h tml

Before we had the Red-Eye removal tool, we simply used a Hue Saturation adjustment layer.  Use the RGB drop down and choose red, and move the saturation slidder all the way to the left.  Then invert the layer mask, and paint over the pupil with a white brush.
