How to remove Search Option and Portal favorites

Hi Experts,
I created two roles 1 & 2. and url iviews for BW reports and url iview for our company intranet home page.
I assigned/published all BW Iviews to role 1 and iview of intranet home page to role 2.
Now i got couple of cosmetic changes that i need to do on Role 2/intranet Iview to maximize the viewing area and give the look and feel of a web site.
1) How can i remove the bar that shows title of ivew and 3 options "History","Back","Farward" and "Options"
2) There is a search/Advanced search option above the roles(tabs) and below the Master Head...how can i remove that option.
3) How to remove Portal Favirate option in the navigational pannel

How can i arrange Tabs(Roles) in my desired sequence to the user.
Ex: I got a 10 Roles (As entry Point Yes)..now i want to show roles 9 as tab 1 and role 3 as tab 2....etc

How to remove the Options and Task from the toolbar

In the FLM portal initially we can see 'Options' in the menu bar after we log in. Below it there is 'Tasks' and 'Reports'. on clicking 'Tasks' and new menu bar 'Tasks' can be seen, under which 'New Tasks' option is there. When we click on 'New Forms' it shows the list of forms and when we select the desired form it opens the interactive form.
My problem is when this form is opened on the header the 'Options' and 'Tasks' bar can be seen, under which the adobe menu bar comes (Print, Save, Zoom etc.) . This 'Options' and 'Tasks' how to remove from the interactive forms page.

Goto Administration ---> System Initialization -
> Authorization -
> General Authorization

Set the property "Invisible in Navigation panel" to closed or always closed.

Search Option onto portal

Hi all,
I have created the index for my repository in Systemadmin>system configuration>KM content> Index administration>create index. Once I m done with, I dont know how to bring the search option onto portal. Which iview do I need to use ?

Basically I already have a portaldesktop assigned to our portal by someone. To find what framework page they have assigned to the portaldesktop, I have gone to masterrule collection and have seen the assigned framework page to our portal. Once I got the framework page, I made the tool area as visible. Now the tool area is reflected on to my portal. But when I search from my portal in tool area..I m getting this error..

you can do using default frame work page.
1.go in portal_content/portal_users/standard_portal_users
2.open default frame work page unclick the top_level_navigation
then you wont be able to see TLN

Default Detailed navigation and Portal Favorites naming and sections

Hi,
I want to manipulate the 'Detailed Navigation' and 'Portal Favorites' on left side menu of my manuscreen. I want to rename them and manipulate to add my own iViews fixed iViews under the Portal Fvorites.
Now, I do find the Portal favorites default iView under ortal menu Content provided by SAP - end user content - Standard Portal Roles, but it is an iView, and I can't add iViews to an iView.
I don't find the default Detailed Navigation iView nor page.
Does anyone know how I can change these settings to fit my menu, without having to create a pop-up page?

To fine the Detailed navigation iview:
Goto Content provided by SAP >end user content>standard portal users>Default framework page>open Desktop innerpage-->here you see detailed navigation iview..
Change the name of the iview goto iview property-->Change the Name property...
Add ur iview in to the role & open it.. It will open in the content area then add this iview to portal favorites..click on the right top corner menu & select Add toportal favorites...

Hi ! In Firefox seems to be only the possibilty to ADD search engines but I can't find how to remove search engines. So for instance: Ask .com searchbar seems to be integrated in the Firefox S/W and not possible to remove, but pops up automatically. If this is the case I've to use another browser because I 've no intention to to use Ask.com. Pls comment! Wbr/ Rolf

Hi,
1. You have to create a seperate desktop.
2. Inside the desktop, the framework which you are assigning will contain Desktop innerpage, Masthead and Top level navigation page.
3. You need to copy the desktop inner page and paste with different name (since it is a standard page)
4. Now open the custom desktop inner page and remove the iviews what ever you dont want.
5. So now your framework page will not have the detailed navigation anymore.
6. Then we need to set master rule collection to load this desktop for a specific role using if... then condition.
Finally the role will have only which ever the iviews you have selected in desktop inner page.

Go to System Preferences -> Users & Groups. Is the Guest user enabled? If so, unlock the preference, click on the Guest user, and uncheck the box that allows guest users to log in.

If you have any apps that were acquired with the old ID they will always be tied to that ID. Delete them and reacquire them with the new ID that you have in Settings > iTunes and App Store

You can use the search on the read only (normal mode) of the PL/SQL Editor. Either through menu or using ctrl F.
The other is still an enhancement and is being tracked.

The file contains details of phone calls submitted to a charity and I want to be able to analyse the types of call taken. The phrase is 'Type of enquiry' and I want to extract the description that follows. I am a beginner at Applescript and have been working my way through Applescript 1-2-3 but cannot find an obvious solution although I have manged to open and read the file! All suggestions gratefully received.

In applescript you can use something like the following:
set {oldTID, my text item delimiters} to {my text item delimiters, "Type of enquiry"}
set dataBits to text items of textToParse
set my text item delimiters to oldTID
the variable dataBits, then, will be a list where every list item is a string that starts with the text following that phrase.
You could do regular expressions searches as well, but you'd need to download and install the Satimage osax.
