How to remove spaces in the output of an PL/SQL report
Hi,
The requirement is to develop a SQL report.
The sample code is like this
Select 'Order Number Header Id' from dual; ( This is the heading in the output of the report.)
Select order_number , header_id from oe_order_headers_all;
The output is displaying as follows
=======================
'Order Number Header Id'
1234 101
2222 102
3333 103
=======================
Now I am opening the report in excel, and there is a space appearing after the headings.
So, how can I remove the additional blank line between the headings and the data.

/usr/ucb/ps (actually /usr/ucb/sparcv9/ps) used to be SUID root so that it could read the full args directly out of the address space of the process (/proc/<pid>/as).
Sun removed this behavior in Solaris 8 with patch 109023-05 and in Solaris 9 with patch 120240-01 (it's been removed from Solaris 10 since FCS) -

In my repoprt output I am getting space between the lines. I have changed
the repeating frame and field -> vertical elasticity and horizontal elasticity to fallowing combinations.

Then also I am getting space between the lines of my output.
Could you help me in this?
ThanksChange the Vertical Elasticity of fields and frames to Variable. If for some fields or frames you don't want to change the vertical elasticity, then remove extra space by adjusting the height of fields/frames.
Also check repeating frames property 'Vert. Space Between Frames'. Default is 0.

In our RTF layout template we have both static content and dynamic content.
In RTF template we have used many if-else,choose,For each loops.
On the account of that,In the output pdf file, we are getting lot of empty space in the place of that coding(if-else,choose,For each loops).
Is there anyway to reduce the space in the output pdf file?
Please suggest some ideas.

Make sure you don't have any unwanted whitespace between commands and especially tagged on the end of lines. Chain your commands together with no whitespace and let them wrap, do not enter carriage returns.

The first time I synced my iphone 4 with my mac, I didn't realize that all of my photos from the iphoto library would transfer over to the phone (more than 3,000). Now, I need to remove some, as they are taking up too much space. I cannot figure out how to remove them from the phone. for eg:,
variable = 18.000.
How to remove space before 18.000?To remove the decimal places for quantity and rate/quantity , use the syntax to restrict the number of digits after decimal places. The syntax is
&symbol(.N)&
where N is number of decimal places.
Since you dont want decimals use &symbol(.0)&
For the other case it depends on how the currency is represented , any way try using the syntex &symbol(T)&

How to send the output to PDF format in reports 6i? I given Mode = BITMAP.
DESTYPE = File, DESFORMAT = PDF, DESNAME = C:\x.pdf.
Report is running fine. But PDF file not generated. I don't know what i missed. Any one can help this?

Test with :
DESFORMAT = RTF, DESNAME = C:\x.rtf
or
DESFORMAT = HTMLCSS, DESNAME = C:\x.html
does it work ?
Check if DESNAME is modified in the reports itself.

There is no much to explain. At the bottom side in the middle there is placed memory cover (fixed with two screws). Remove the cover and you will see 2 slots there. I dont know how much memory has you there but as Stefan said you can use max 2 GB of RAM (2x PC2700 1024MB - PA3313U-1M1G).
