How to remove "Subscribe to this page" option on bookmarked pages?

When you have bookmarked a page, a button is displayed in the "awesome bar" that gives the option to subscribe to the page.
Is there a way to remove this button from the toolbar?
I hate this button being in my URL/search bar and have not been able to find a way to remove it anywhere.

go into your about:config and filter "extensions.abhere2.bmsmenu.subscribe"
double click and set the value to false.

Ho to Unsubscribe to whatever 'Subscribe to this page' does?

In the Bookmarks menu, there is an option to 'Subscribe to this page' and I've done that by accident. How do I unsubscribe, reverse, delete or whatever? I've searched this forum and seen others ask, but I see no answer that either works or makes sense.

"Subscribe to this page" creates a live bookmark. To unsubscribe, just remove the bookmark. See [[Live bookmarks]]

Hi All
I have created a Single page Website..??? by using folders.
when a user click on any link that call a folder but not a page and that folder is displayed with the layout specified in "Content Area Page" however there is no such option available to change the Heading <Title>Page title</Title> for browsers so for every folder called it displays a Oracle defined Content area page title.

This problem is fixed in Release 2. There is no supported workaround in 3.0.

How do I turn off this page

I am completekly lost. Who can help me get baqck to the beginning? How do I turn of this page and get a home page that make sense or at least looks lke something I might understand?

The default in current Firefox versions is the build-in about:home page that doesn't require web access.

Is the default "Subscribe to This Page" feature within Firefox a RSS Reader?

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know whether the default "Subscribe to This Page" feature within Firefox is a RSS Reader?
For example, I want to subscribe to certain blogs etc., and my research suggested I install Feedly ([https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/feedly/]), which I now have. However, I noticed whilst playing around that within Firefox, the feature to subscribe to a page offers this too - but is the Firefox feature the same as a RSS Reader?

Really, most RSS readers are the same.
In the past I have used the Firefox RSS reader to setup live bookmarks. 
Currently I use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rss-icon-in-awesombar/?src=userprofile RSS Icon In Awesombar] add-on. It functions the same as the default Firefox feature, but to save space I want the button in the location bar.
You can use whatever one you want. As said above, it really doesn't matter.

How to remove unnecessary blank(white) page when using FileDownload UI

Of course, it works well in normal situation but FileDownload shows
unnecessary behavior like the following.
- How to produce : Download file with allowSave behavior option
- Phenomena : File Download pop-up window is displayed but the
    unnecessary blank(white) page also displayed and this page
    persists even when the download is finished.
And is there any way to remove this unnecessary page behind the
pop-up window?

    It is not possible to close the blank window that appears while downloading programmatically from within your Web Dynpro application. The user must manually close it.

How to remove extract space between pages in smartform without changing output

Hello Experts,
I've been given a requirement where I need to remove extra space between pages of a smartform (refer to the attachment). If you look at the following screen shot then you will notice that that there is a command provided to display details on these pages which has a checkbox 'Go to New Page'.
When I removed the above New Page comment then still I don't see the expected output (Refer to the attached screen shot 'Expected' to see what I need).
Also there is another there is another New Page command (as shown below).
When I tried to removed the above New Page Command then output was totally changed which user don't want (as shown below. Table should have been break on BCVI on red line, which happens today but with so much extra space).
To view the correct output how user want please have a look at 'Expected' screen shot.
Now the question is what change I should make in my smartform to accomplish the expected output.

I think that it should work, this construction of an loop node including all relevant items and at the event TAB event sort field only these items are copied in the OUTPUT_TAB which should be printed in a separate table on the form. After having printed the table, the content of the internal table is cleared.
I suppose that you first should check if this TAB "event sort field" includes the correct criteria for the necessary group change. If this event is really defined correctly, then I only have one hint for you.
I know that the only possibility to define a page break in a table in the Window MAIN is to use the following technique:
Define an outside loop node and in this loop node a table node, but this table does not have a internal table to be looped through. It includes only the fields to be printed, maybe you have to re-design your table node.
By the way only then you can define a command node including a page break during the processing of an internal table.

Why did you remove the "unlink this device" option?

Whenever I sign into Sync on a public device (like school computers), it syncs in my bookmarks, passwords, and history, which is good. That's what I want. But when I'm done using the device, I have to sign out of that device, and I can't find an option to do that. When I sign out of sync, it doesn't remove my bookmarks, passwords, or anything. I have to go and delete the bookmarks manually and clear search history. Which is VERY inconvenient. I do have a master password, but that only held with passwords, not with history or bookmarks. This is very troubling. I should be able to sign out of that device and have all my information removed. That's what Google Chrome offers and you don't! Where's the unlink device option?

How to remove right sidebar in pages?

I really enjoy a distraction free/ minimalist view when i'm writing. the only thing preventing me from having that in the new pages version that came with Maverick is that right sidebar. Can someone please tell me how to remove it?

Click on the Format or Setup button on the toolbar, whichever is active (blue). Or View > Hide Inspector (Opt-Cmd-I).
Also in addition to hiding the inspector try, View > Hide Toolbar (Opt-CMD-T) in fullscreen mode -- you can really focus on your writing.

After I upgraded to FF 11 I can't type Vietnamese accent anymore. It's the same installation for as long as I remember. I wonder if I just installed Comcast Guard and Norton so they tried to intercept Unikey and consider Unikey as keyboard capture.

Thanks for answering. In my case that won't work because I'm doing a global find and replace of some text.
I agree though, that process would eliminate the message when I have to come back to edit the site again. It's just the thought of many dozens of pages that would need it and to be honest, I'm really not feeling that motivated to do all the up front work right now

Thanks for you suggestions. .. Let me explain my problem a little better ...
I have a report that lists fields associated with a report ... I have a delete icon which deletes a row and removes it from the underlying table ... however, I am trying to implement a Before header process which runs a pl/sql process that checks if the selected field is the last field in the report ... if so, I want a confirmation dialog to pop up ... if they click cancel .. then the deletion is aborted, else the field is deleted (which triggers other status changes).
Based on this logic if there is a way to implement this based on your suggestion I would appreciate it ...

How to removed dashed lines from "Page Break View"?

Hi,
In Excel 2010, I found that once “Page Break View” is selected, there will be dashed lines across the view even after returning to “Normal” view. These dashed lines can be distracting.
Is there a way to remove them?

Yes use
File -> Options -> Advanced
Scroll down to Display options for this worksheet and remove the tick in Show Page breaks.
Unfortunately it's sheet specific so you'll have to do it everytime it happens until you've done all the sheets.
