How to remove the automatic option of saving in iCloud?

Is there a way to change the automatic option of saving to iCloud when saving new documents in most of the applications in osx lion? Example: launch pages. Immediately a screen pops up that shows finder or the option to create new doc. (I also dislike this feature; would love to go back to launching pages and a blank page coming up or nothing happening at all, leaving me the option to do whatever I want rather than be told wha tthe options are). Create new doc. Then try to save. Then it tries to automatically save to iCloud. After having to click on a few places, I get where I want I be. Unneeded work. How can I change options, to go back to how things used to be?

To prevent saving in iCloud, go to System Preference/iCloud and uncheck the Documents & Data box. Now if you start any OS X app like TextEdit, it won't show that iCloud Dialog.

In the initial screen (when you enter transaction code SQ02) type your infoset name and goto menu: Infoset -> More functions -> Delete text fields. this will delete all text fields.

Not that I know of.
Just tell her the X can't be removed.
The customer isn't always right.
Can you think of any window in any other program that doesn't have an X button to it? I can't think of an instance. I can't think of any place besides LabVIEW that can have an X button that can't be clicked.
Is there a reason you do not want them to click the X button? You can use an event structure to catch a Panel Close? event for the VI and discard the event so you can run your own code such as ensuring a clean and orderly shutdown of the VI.

How to remove the automatically recognized hyperlinks in PDF after converting from Word?

Hi everyone!
When converting Word to PDF, texts with "http", "www", or email addresses with "@" are automatically hyperlinked.
The way Adobe Acrobat recognizes URLs is not by the text's underlying hyperlinks rather it is by the actual characters in the text. If the text contains "http" or "www" it recognizes it as a URL address, if it contains "@", it recognizes it as an email address.
I am aware that you could choose to disable the hyperlinks by going to Edit - Preferences - General - untick Create links from URLs. However, other users who have this ticked will still be able to click on the hyperlinks.
In Word, you can specify whether to add a hyperlink or not, or to direct the hyperlink to a different path. But in Adobe Acrobat, it automatically recognizes the hyperlink by its text. I know it is possible to manually add a hyperlink to a PDF, but is it possible to remove the automatically recognized hyperlinks?
Is there also some sort of ADM administrative template for this purpose?

removes all links, but then I saw that the link Acrobat adds are not real

no, you can't do it. The only way might be to use shorter addresses in order

I've created a report in obiee 11.1.1.6.0 and placed on the dashboard. When i do right click on the report i can list of option of user controls. Using the edit properties i have unchecked all the controls, even though i can see the hide column option in the dashboard report. User should not have access on report controls. How can i remove the hide column option.

How to remove the Advanced Options from Grub boot menu

The new version of grub groups kernels under a section of the menu called Advanced Options which makes selecting a kernel unattended impossible. Can this behavior be disabled so that grub.cfg has simply one menu item per kernel like the old behavior? Thank you.

how to remove save, cancel option when end user runs the workbook and make some small changes like using page items or increasing rows and columns
I already made 2 changes
1) I removed the option in Oracle Enterprise Manager under discoverer viewer of saving
2) I also removed the option of Allow saving changes made in Viewer when adding workbook to portal
But still the end user gets options of saving when made small changes to workbook like increasing rows and columns
Is their any place, I need to make changes?

Don't use JSP to serve a binary file. It almost implies the use of awful scriptlets and the invocation of both the response writer and the response outputstream which would only lead to IllegalStateException headaches in the server logs.
Use a Servlet instead. Specify the file name as request parameter and let the servlet read the file and write it to the outputstream of the response.

Hi,
You can capture Excise Invoice w.r.t. PO in J1IEX and then refer it during MIGO (Note: - You are not capturing Excise Invoice again, only referring it) and then Post it in J1IEX.
And in case of Stock Transport Orders, you need to refer the Excise Invoice No at the time of GR in receiving plant which is posted in the Supplying Plant (via J1IIN) so that system will copy all the duties same as of that invoice and user need not to do any manual intervention.
Also in case of Imports, first you capture Bill of Entry w.r.t. PO in J1IEX and then refer it during MIGO and finally post it in J1IEX.

How do I remove the "Dock" option from the Apple Dropdown Menu

I work for a school district where I am continuosly having to go back into Mac labs and reverting the settings on the dock back to normal. Students are changing the size, position and content of the dock, as well as hiding the dock. These computers are used by students k-6 and the younger children are getting confused when they com in and they cannot find the dock or its not where it is supposed to be. I have been able to lock the sizing, position and content of the dock but am not finding a way to elimante the hiding of the dock. Preferably I would like to remove the "dock option from the Apple dropdown menu. Please help!!!!

This question was asked quite a while ago and the suggestion was to use Server Admin Tools, which I know nothing about. You'll have to look into that. If these Macs are running off a server, then this might work for you. I'm seeing that Server Admin Tools from Apple is still current.

How to remove the "Subscribe to folder" option in Convergence 1u3

It is my understanding that there is a known bug in Messaging Server 7 which doesn't allow you to share folders across different message store hosts. We currently have a Comm Suite 7 set up with 4 multiplexors and 4 mail back ends, so this is like to crop up from within Convergence. Because of this, I would like to remove the menu option to subscribe to a folder from with the MailNavigator widget, I know that you need to add a line to:
<app_server_docroot>/iwc_static/c11n/allDomain/js/customize.jsand then create the referenced js file, but I am unsure what code to put in it.

JimOk, got my shared folders working but I still have to disable the feature because of a policy coming from higher up. Can somebody please provide the code to disable the "Subscribe to Folder" menu item?
Also, I just noticed that the "Sharing" tab in the Folder Properties window should also be removed to have the desired effect.

I have a form I downloaded that only has Save As as an option when saving. Save is greyed out. My form has Save and when I use it, I get a message that says "the document could not be saved. The file may be read-only..."

The system should automatically filter the lower level drop downs based on the selection of a higher level.
For e.g. :
If a user selects a Country then the States drop down should only display the State's belongs to the Country. Similarly when a State is selected, the District drop down should display only those District's belongs to the State.
