How to remove universal app from only one i-device in iTunes 11.1.3.8, Windows Vista computer

Trying to delete iMovie from iPod Touch without removing it from iTunes and iPad. In other words, syncing with iTunes just adds it back to the device again.  Thanks.

Connect the device to iTunes.
Select the Apps tab.
Select the apps desired to sync.
Sync.
iTunes remembers sync settings per device.

  • TS1702 how to remove game app from phone

how do you remove game apps from your phone?

If you mean Game Centre... You Cannot...
    For other Apps...
    DELETING APPS
Touch the app and hold your finger down until all the apps start to jiggle. You will see a circled "x" in the upper left corner. Tap it to delete an app. When done press the Home button.
You cannot delete any pre-installed iOS app.
If the app is in iTunes, then you delete the app in iTunes (Select the App and Press Delete on your Keyboard). If you then sync with your Device, the app will also be deleted from your Device.

Hoe do I remove an app from the desk top?

Hold your fingers down on the app icon until they all start to wiggle. You'll see a little white X in a red circle. Tap on it and the app should delete (there may be a 'are you sure?' dialogue box)
Tap the home button when you're done.
If the app in question is a bundled app, one that came on the iPad, it cannot be deleted.

  • How to remove bought app from app store 'archive'

since a while in the App store (both on iPhone or on the computer) it's possible to re-install old purchases of apps that you once downloaded and deleted. that's cool.
more than two years ago i downloaded viber, deleted it, never re-installed or used it again.
now a friend bought a smartphone, installed viber, and his viber app tells him i'm one of the 10 people out of all his phone contacts that is using viber.
when he tries to message or call me of course it doesn't work, but still i'd love to have myself removed from the servers of viber, so that people don't see me anymore as one of their contacts so called using viber.
i found an article (in Dutch) here that explains me how to remove viber from showing up in the "all purchases - not on this iPhone" part of the app store, but it explicitly tells that won't have my Apple ID disconnected from the app, it will just hide the app (it even explains how to make it show up again too)
can somebody please tell me how i CAN have this purchase removed from my apple ID history - and thus hopefully have my 'link' removed at the Viber servers
    much thanks in advance!!

    You cannot
    You can only hide it.
The entire point of this service is that you ahve acces to all prior purchases.

I cannot delete your posts. As I explained, only the Hosts can.
And if you can find it in your heart to actually pass on the feedback that the pre installed apps not being able to easily be gotten rid of is a problem, then that would be great.
Use the feedback link I gave in my first post.
Apparently one of your hosts deleted his own post where he called me an idiot for necroing this thread, where it's still an issue. Obviously I'm not so naive as to think it'd be changed on one person's say-so, but the fact that he deleted his own post is problematic and goes to trust and accountability.
    No Hosts have posted here.

  • How to download an app for only one user

I have an iMac running the latest version of lion and I want to download and app from Mac app store but I only want to download it for one user, how can I do that?

If you wish for an app to only be available in one user account, create an Applications folder in the Home folder of that user account and drag and drop the app to that folder.

  • How do I transfer apps FROM my iPhone 3gs TO my itunes library

I want to sync the apps from my iphone to my itunes library.
When I check the 'sync apps' box in the apps tab in itunes I get a warning that all of the apps on my iphone (3GS, just updated to iOS4)- about 50 apps - are going to be replaced by the apps in the library - 2 apps.
Is there a way for me to transfer the apps from my iphone to the itunes library so when I sync them I wont lose all my apps?

connect your device and right-click or control-click your iPod in the iTunes Source list, then choose +transfer purchases+ from the shortcut menu that appears.

  • How to sync iPhone apps from phone into new install of iTunes

I just upgraded my 32 bit Vista PC to 64 bit Win 7. I had to do a clean install and am now reinstalling all of my software.
I have an iPod and iPhone. I was able to sync and download all of my music from my iPod into iTunes easily. I have all of my apps on my iPhone and want to sync them (download them) into the new empty version of iTunes. I do not have any music on the iPhone, just apps. But, I have not found a way to download the apps from the iPhone into iTunes.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

With iTunes open, I connected the iPhone. I did the File-Transfer purchases. Then sync'd the iPhone with iTunes. All of the apps were now on both the iPhone and iTunes. Many of the apps had moved to other iPhone screens, but that was easy to rearrange.
    Thanks for your help!!

  • [iPhone] Does somebody know how to remove an App from the App Store?

And how long will it take before Apple pulls the App out of the App Store?
And a last question: If I change the price of an App, how fast will the price be changed in the Store?
    Any experiences out there?
    Many thanks in advance

I think I read somewhere that if you set a release date in the future the
    app gets removed.
If you change a price it should change in the store within 24 hours.

  • How to remove unpurchased apps from itunes

There are some apps in my itunes, that I don't want to buy, but somehow they are there (maybe children have accidentally clicked on them to buy). I want to remove them because when I'm trying to make some purchase  ($1-$5 ), all amount ($30) is in subtotal. You can see this list on screenshot:

You can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will cancel the purchase and what you own them : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
To try and stop it happening again you can turn off in-app purchases on your phone via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off', and you can set 'Require Password' to 'Immediately' on the Restrictions screen

  • HT1338 How do you update apps for only one apple id?

I try to update the apps that come up, but it keeps telling me I have other updates for another Apple Id as well. I am not intersted in updating those.  It won't just do the ones I need.

The apple id login is never deleted. The emaill address itself can be disabled or not in use any longer. The apple id login will still be available to you. If you will go to the website My Apple Id
    https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
and use the listed apple id login that your apps are asking for to update - once you have changed the password at the lsted website you then will be able to update using the old apple id once you have logged into the device using the old apple id and password.
    Good luck.

  • Removing 'stuck' apps from an S60 3rdEd device

Suppose you updated your S60 3rdEd device and after that you realized that your applications were not functioning, what would you do?
The answer is simple - just re-install all these apps or games and the problem gets solved. But what about if you cannot remember where you downloaded them from? Read the following instruction carefully in order to be able to solve this problem in another way.
First of all, you will need a USB cable and a computer. Connect the phone to your computer and choose data transfer or mass memory as USB mode. It depends on which drive the apps are installed in. Then go to E or F:\Private\10003a3f\import\apps\  path. Here you may find some .rsc files and one folder. The files with the ending .rsc refer to sis(x) apps while the folder refers to java.
From now on, it is up to you what is going on next. If you want to remove a sis(x) app, then just delete the.rsc file which has the app's name. But if you want to remove a java app, then you have to experiment on it. Go into the folder and delete the files one by one making a backup each time, so that you can find out which file refers to the java app that you wish to remove. Then go to E or F:\Private\102033E6\MIDlets\ path. Here you will find the root folders for java apps. Open each one and delete all the .jar, .jad and uids files. That's all.
This procedure may take some time but once you finish you will feel better
