How to Remove WebEx Connect domain

Hi all,
A customer of ours used to have a WebEx Connect subscription which is currently expired. They are now deploying Collaboration Edge with on-prem IM&P services (CUCM IM&P) but Jabber still discovers their domain to be handled by WebEx Connect.
How can we get rid of the association between their domain and the WebEx Connect cloud IM&P services forever?

yes, I got this done through a Cisco Collaboration Solution Architect by asking him a favor.
He did that internally in Cisco (I guess by logging a case with the PM) and told me he didn't know of any official procedure for end users or partners.

I have a NW2004s system that will not start. The Message Server and IGS Watchdog are running, but the Dispatcher is in a yellow state.
The last thing that was done on the server before it was restarted was 2 JCO connections were added. Now the system will not start and I do not know how to remove the JCO connections.
I cannot find relevant configuration within the Config Tool or the Offline Configuration Editor. I am unable to access the Visual Administrator.

Hi,
If you created JCO connection, then you can remove as follows
1>go to Portal URL(Ex:http://102.26.88.65:50100/irj/portal)
2>Go to content administration ->webdynpro-> Maintain JCo connections ->Remove what ever your JCo conn created.
or search for the JCO connections you created in search box left -->delete

How to remove SHARED connected as VNC ?

Hello to all,
We are sharing folder with my wife laptop. The laptop appears in the SHARED sections with her username , but the long usernamefollowed by (username_local) appears just below .
Selecting it, the grey bar in the Finder window says "Connected as : VNC" .
Anyone knowing how I can I remove this ?

Disable webex connect

Hi.
I set up Jabber for connection to Unified Presence server, but when Jabber starts, tries to open go.webex.com/...(I see it on Wireshark and on proxy firewall) Therefore it always displays a window with request of login and password for our proxy server.
Can someone advise how to disable webex connect in Jabber?

Are you sure you have installed Jabber and not the webex connect client (which will automatically connect to webex connect cloud services).

I need to find domain controllers that have been removed but never demoted.
Here's the story...
I came on an Active Directory administrator for an organization which has 600+ domain controllers, most running Server 2003, but I have some Server 2008R2. Throughout all this time the organization has had DCs that have stopped working, crashed or failed
for some reason and all the IT department has done is created another domain controller name it the same thing with an (A), (B) appended to the name and then never removed any of the failed controllers from the directory.
Thing is this has been going on for quite some time, don’t know for sure how long as I am still trying to clean up DNS replication problems and have been having to go around and reset machine passwords for the forest. What I need to be able to do is to script
something that will return all the failed DCs so that I can go into the directory and use NTDUTIL to clean the machines. I don’t want to go into the directory and remove a machine that’s still out there. No one in the organization has a list or record of failed
machines.
You can see this may be a gargantuan task, but I need to be able to make it easier on
myself by finding the machines first and cleaning out DNS, cleaning the DCs out of the “Sites” and cleaning them out of the directory.
Appreciate any help I can get…

If you are using an unsecured or shared wireless network, then it could be just another user's computer name. If your sharing settings are correct, you have no worry. However, It would appear that at least some of the other user's settings are less than optimal inasmuch as his/hers is openly being displayed.
The next time you check into a hotel and use their wireless network, you are likely to see a number of other user's computers. Some just the name, as they share no files. While others are wide open, and their file sharing is on.

when the name of the ipad appears in ur itunes click on it. then click on the movies tab that appears next to summary. this is where u need to go to select what movies u want to actually sync to the ipad. if u keep movies selected then they will keep syncing over. if u unselect a movie from this list then it will unsync from the device. click apply at the bottom to save changes and sync.

How to remove connect and workbook link after pressing Save as,Print,Export

I have to remove the connect link and workbook link which appear AFTER pressing Save as,Printable Page,Export in a discoverer viewer report. I had already removed the link in the report itself with changing the uix files, but after pushing the link for export, save as or print the link Connect and Workbook still appear.
I know that I have to change something in UIX Files, but which one and what I have to change...? Have anyone an idea? Thanx for fast reply, it´s a urgent problem.

If the tone really is a single (or at least narrow band) frequency like the picture shows, I'd try the Notch Filter on the Audition/Effects/Filter and EQ menu. It might take some playing around to get the exact frequency and tweak the amount of cut you apply vs. the effect it will have on surrounding frequencies--but if you can get the right balance, you can then easily apply this to the whole of every file.
Sorry, can't help on the Premiere Pro question since I only use Audition.

Unable to remove printer connection from GPO

Hi,
I have been diagnosing really slow logons on a windows 7 laptop and when looking through the GPO's I found one that is connecting a non-existant printer.
I can see it in the settings tab preview listed under User>Policies>Windows Settings>Printer Connections but when I navigate the GPO to that location there is no "Printer Connections" branch.
I didnt add this originally and cannot figure out how to remove it.
The domain was 2003 and is now 2008 level.
Can anyone help me out here?
I cant deleted and re-create the GPO.

Based on my test, the path of the GPO which is User>Policies>Windows
Settings>Printer
Connections cannot be found. Would you like to provide the screenshots of the settings of the GPO in GPMC and the configuration of the path in Group Policy Management Editor to help us to troubleshoot this issue?
In addition, the responding register key for printer mappings is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print\Connections. You can try to delete the entries under this key to resolve the slow logon
issue.
Note: Backup the Registry Key. You should backup this key to be safe in case you delete the
wrong one.

BE 3000 with Jabber (for Mac) and webex connect integration problems

This is my first question on the forum so please be gentle!
I have a customer who has a Business Edition 3000 and they have purchased WebEx connect and Jabber integration to go with it.
My problem is I am having difficulty getting the setup to work and I have a number of questions on how to set this up. Most of the docs on Cisco's website seem to be related to either CUCME or full CUCM, but not a lot on BE 3000. My questions are below:
1. I have been reading the documentation for WebEx connect and it states to set the IP address of the BE 3000 server in the Configuration>Additional Services>Unified Communications>Voicemail tab. This is currently on the network with a 192.168.x.x address however. My predecessor put this IP address in the WebEx configuration page but I'm not sure this will work with a private IP as I don't know how this communicates back. The documentation isn't very clear on this. Does this have to be a public IP address / FQDN for it to work?
2. Are there any SRNDs for this type of setup that could help? Again, looking through the website hasn't turned anything up yet.

Hi - I have done this via the admin portal but still cannot get the Jabber client for Mac to register for voice. The Windows version works fine for the same user and CUCM device. Are there any other settings that need to be enabled specific to the Mac client?

Jabber for Windows 9.0(1) will not be posted automatically for all customers.
An internal communication will be issued to all internal CSM's and PSM's in the next couple of days explaining the exact procedure for requesting access to the client and how to raise the ops request to make it available for the customer org in question ... so reach out to the your Partner manager to understand that procedure and to enable access for your customers.

I managed to implement Jabber to connect to either presence on premise or webex connect on the cloud.
My question is if it gets connected to the Webex connect, how RTP for audio and video travers? do they go to the cloud? thanks

Even with WebEx Connect the audio and video components (including visual voicemail) still require a VPN connection to the on premise servers. RTP traffic would flow across that VPN tunnel to the company network.
