How to remove wireless footprint of WVC210

I have a WVC210. I am wondering how I can remove (or whether it has) any wireless footprint. I am planning to use this as a wired solution only. I dont want neighbours or passerbys to edit my settings with their wireless routers or laptops.
p.s., does the device show up on wireless routers or laptops? my laptop cant seem to detect the device, but I dont have a wireless router to check. cheers

The Camera does not show up on wireless routers or laptops...
You dont have any option to disable the Wireless Feature on your Camera...Leave the Default Wireless Settings as it is and configure the settings on your Camera for a wired connection and your camera will work as a Wired Camera...
Your Camera will work wireless only when you attempt to configure it's Wireless Settings...If you have identical Wireless Settings on your Camera that you have on your router you will be able to view your Camera Wireless...If you just leave it connected hard wired to a desktop and you do not match the wireless settings then you cannot use it wireless...

Interestingly enough, I recently setup a new computer with the same itunes library as my old computer which I moved to another part of the house. I renamed BOTH libraries from their previous names. These are both iMacs. Now, all my iOS devices (iphones/ipads/etc.) show up on BOTH and wirelessly sync to BOTH! So, I turned off wireless sync on one of the machines but the devices still show up in the menu. Also, on the devices themselves both libraries show up as available to sync. Does anyone know how to remove the wireless capabilities from one computer or device so the devices just sync with a single library?

WVC210 Camera selects wrong wireless network ... How to select wireless network? (multiple networks)

I have a WVC210 camera that works fine wired.
But I can not use it wirelessly, because on startup it connects to the wrong wireless network. All of my neighbors have wireless networks, so there are six wireless networks within range of the camera, it is therefore not suprising that the camera might select the wrong one first.
So.. how do I specify the wireless network that I want my camera to connect to?
I have tried various experiments, such as disabling all security on my wirless networks, but the WVC210 camera still selects the wrong wireless network.
I can tell that it is going to the wrong network, because after DHCP completes on my camera, the resolved IP is not from the subnet of the wireless network in my house.
For comparison, I found the PDF for a Linksys WVC54GCA it is possible to select from all available wireless networks... But I can't find a way with my WVC210 to select from all available wireless networks and stop the WVC210 from defaulting to the wrong wireless network.
Is there a way to list the available wireless networks and specify a chosen wireless network with the WVC210

I bought an imac G5 1.8ghz We already have a BT wireless connection and I want to hook up to that. I gather that I need an airport card but I'm not sure how to insert a card into the machine there is a CD portal and ones for USB as well. How does this wireless business work and what do I need for my machine running Tiger 10.4.11?

The AirPort Extreme card appears to be the correct product
but you should be able to tell from some of the Apple Support
information in the form of their product support page for your
specific computer model. The main support section has a side
bar menu of products and if you find iMac G5, then look into it
further, you can identify what exact model iMac G5 you have.

The first two problems (box cycling from element to element on page, scroll bar returning to top) can be caused by a stuck (or defective) Tab key on the keyboard. Such damage can be caused by a liquid spill; just one tiny droplet is enough to short a wafer switch under one key.
The last issue (black box, white text - sounds sorta like a debugger window) I haven't seen, but could be caused by something similar.
To check for that, try using a different keyboard. If you're using a wireless keyboard, turn it off and see if the oddities stop.

If you are using an unsecured or shared wireless network, then it could be just another user's computer name. If your sharing settings are correct, you have no worry. However, It would appear that at least some of the other user's settings are less than optimal inasmuch as his/hers is openly being displayed.
The next time you check into a hotel and use their wireless network, you are likely to see a number of other user's computers. Some just the name, as they share no files. While others are wide open, and their file sharing is on.

I found a pc name in the "shared" ("CONDIVISI" section for italian speakers like me!!) section of the left menu in the Finder. It is something I don't recognize. I never connected to this computer. Any clue how it has been able to get there? How to remove it?

Most likely, at some time, "betesda-vaio" was connected to the same network as your Mac. (Perhaps a friend connected their Vaio laptop to your wireless network during a visit?)
The Shared (CONDIVISI) section shows devices that are available on the network; it does not mean that your Mac is connected to the device (in this case "betesda-vaio").
If "betesda-vaio" is no longer on the same network as your Mac, if you log out (or restart), it should disappear from the sidebar.

I have had this same problem. I had Tiger, and my mighty mouse worked fine. But then I installed the CD that came with it and it ruined the mouse pref pane so that it looked like you were using the mighty mouse in 10.3.9.
I had no fix to this, but when I got my wireless mighty mouse and installed the software, it restored the preferance pane and now my wired mighty mouse has the tiger features again.

Try downloading and running the HP Hardware Diagnostic Utility located here:

I am working in Business Objects XIR2 environment. I have a WebI report with several sections. I need to show the report as a book with 69 sections (each section on new page). there are 69 sections on cost center and each cost center section has almost 10 sections embedded in it. When i see in regular view - I only see 69 pages but when I try to see in "View Page Lay out" option, there is one blank page added after each results page.
Please let me know how to remove this blank page. I need to give users the option to download the book as PDF on to their machine. Now, when I download to my machine, I see one blank page after each results page.

Jus convert your report in Page Layout mode and see if your first pafe is getting expand in the second page.
Now check if there are any cell going into second page.
- if there are any blank cell which is there after table.

How to remove calendar in ical

I clicked on a link that added a calendar to my ical which has now synced with my Google calendar and added all the events to it as well. Unfortunately, I did not realize that this was going to add every single instance (multiple events per day) to all my calendars.
I'd like to reverse this action but there is not easy way to do this in ical it seems. I cannot "delete" the calendar because it does not appear in the list of subscribed calendars in ical.
I subscribed to two calendars this way and I'd like to remove them both. I also have to now deal with how to remove hundreds of entries in my Google calendar....and it seems there is no batch delete there either unless I pay for a third party program....arrrgh
If anyone can shed some light on this I'd be most grateful.

This adds the events contained in this calendar directly to iCal and I can't for the life of me find a way to "unsubscribe" or eliminate these entries short of erasing them manually one by one. Unfortunately, there are many of them.
If you know how I may go about doing this in an efficient manner, please let me know!
