Step 1: Download the symbian application (sExplorer.SIS) to your computer.
Step 2: Bluetooth and install the application (sExplorer.SIS) to your symbian version 3 phone.
Step 3: After installation completed successfully, please go to "Menu" => "My own"
Step 4: Select "SExplorer"
Step 5: Select "C: " by pressing the down key on your phone.
Step 6: After "C: " is highlighted, press the right key on your phone.
Step 7: Select "Predic" by pressing the down key on your phone.
Step 8: After "Predic" is highlighted, press the right key on your phone.
Step 9: Select *.dat file by pressing the down key on your phone.
Step 10: Click on the "Options".
Step 11: Select "Delete".
Step 12: Select "Yes" when prompt "Delete selected file Are you sure?"
Step 13: Select "Exit".
Step 14: Switch off the phone to enable a reboot.
Step 15: Switch on your phone, the dictionary issue will be resolved!

Shame you cant edit and simply ammend or remove a word rather than deleting everything

I've searched online for this and it almost sounds like it can't be done in DW CS5, but that just seems crazy. I added a word to my dictionary that can be spelled two ways and now, for consistency sake, want to remove one version.   Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how?

Thanks, Nancy, but that's for older versions.   According to Adobe, "Dreamweaver does not provide a way of deleting entries that have been added to personal dictionaries."
Maybe I'm just stubborn, but I found it hard to believe that if you accidently add a word you can never remove it. What if you accidently clicked to add something that wasn't spelled correctly? As I was replying to you, I poked around some more and found in C:\Users\my name\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe\Linguistics\Dictionaries\Adobe Custom Dictionary\eng (I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, so your location may vary). a file called added.clam. There is also an added.txt and exceptions.txt but there's nothing in them.
I copied added.clam and renamed it to added.clam_Copy.txt. Opened it up with Notepad and sure enough, my word is in there! But there are other markings in there that I don't know what they mean. I edited my word out and when I ran spell check in DW it stopped on a word that I had left in my personal dictionary.   I didn't have that many in so I went back and cleaned them all out and saved a blank added.clam.   Then when I went back to DW, ran it again, and added the words I want.
There might be a cleaner way to fix the problem, but that worked for me. It seems crazy that Adobe doesn't allow you to edit the dictionary but if someone using CS5 is really stuck, this will work!

How to remove words which consist of max 2 letters?

Hi everybody,
Is it possible to remove words from string which consist of max 2 letters using REGEXP_REPLACE?
For example string is 'aa bbb cc dddd' and result should be ' bbb dddd' (3 spaces) or 'bbb dddd' (1 space). It does not matter which one of results.
Or exists another method to achieve this?

How to delete words from the spellcheck dictionary?

i accidentally added a word to the spellcheck dictionary when i try to click the recommended work, instead, i clicked "add to dictionary".
how can i reset or delete that word?
am i able to do so?

I have OS X 10.5.3
I still cannot make FireFox unlearn the word "detnal" which is screwupese for "dental". BTW as I write this, the word "detnal" is not underlined while FireFox and screwupese are underlined.
I went into TextEdit and saw that it allowed "detnal". There was NO right click option called "Unlearn Spelling". What I did was click on "dental". and it then underlined "detnal" to my surprise.
I then quit firefox and restarted firefox and it still likes "detnal". It doesn't underline it.
I went to /Users/nicole/library/Application Support/firefox/profiles and could not find the file persdict.dat
Is there a way to search all files on the computer that contain the string "detnal" in it? There has to be a file somewhere containing "detnal".
<Apple-F> on Finder is useless. It says there is no persdict.dat file anywhere and there are not files anywhere on the computer containing "detnal".
I'm stumped at this point.

Nokia 6205 words not saving to dictionary

Hi, I recently picked up a Nokia 6205 because it was free and my old LG phone finally broke. Since I have had it, words do not save to my dictionary. I text using predictive word entry. Any suggestions?

HT2496 How do I remove words from my personal dictionary?

I added a mispelled word to my Dictionary using the "Add to Dictionary" menu option. I need to remove it now and can't figure out how to.

Stored in /Users/"username"/Library/Spelling/LocalDictionary
Open it in TextEdit and delete the erroneous entry. Getting to the stupidly hidden Library folder is left as an exercise. I've permanently unhid it using this Terminal command:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Might take a restart to take affect.

I have created and saved a customization called *'Hidden Graph'* through the front end (under page options)
I saved this customization against different application roles (BI Consumer / BI Author)
Now I No longer need to apply customiaztiion *'Hidden Graph'*
Can someone tell me where these customizations are saved so I can REMOVE AND DELETE it ?

To find the location and deleting from catalog, try to use catalog manager and use search xml for text 'Hidden Graph'
You can find them in sub folders of _selections folder in catalog
ex:
\users\weblogic\_selections
Just in case if you want to delete then you can do finding files like
Hidden+Graph
Hidden+Graph.atr
Nowhere mentioned deleting other than clearing check this doc once

ODI keeps adding 'MSG0' as a prefix in extracted attachments. How to get rid of the prefix and keep the original file name as it is in the e-mail ?

How do you make InDesign CS5.5 save a mixed-case word to the user dictionary?

My spell checker will save most words to the user dictionary, but not all upper case or mixed case words. In my work these are often these since the are commonly used acronyms.

You haven't mentioned that you have an Adobe product that can create forms but if you have Acrobat, you would save it as a Reader extended PDF (you may or may not want t use Designer as mentioned above. That creates a certain type of form which it sounds like you don't need).
As far as the usage limit, if only a few people will be filling it in, they can do it an unlimited amount of times. The 500 limit only comes to play if you have sent the form to an unspecified amount of people (such as a form for customers that is available on a web site). Then you could only collect the data from that form 500 times.
But, let's talk a little more about what software you have. Acrobat? If so, what version (saving the extended file for Reader users is different between versions.)?

You will need an app (or apps) on your iPad that is capable of reading the documents, as they will be saved with the app - if you don't have such an app then there is nothing to transfer them to or to read/access them.
One method of transferring them is toconnect your iPad to your computer's iTunes, select it's app tab, and then scroll to the bottom of it - you should the apps That you've got that are capable of file-sharing (if you've got any). Selecting/high-lighting one of them should then allow you to add files to it via the box to the right of it.
An alternative way to get the documents onto your iPad is if the app that you want to transfer them to has a wifi setting, which will then allow you to transfer the documents wirelessly. You can also send the documents to yourself as attachments and then use Mail's 'open in' facility to copy them into your chosen app.
