My laptop screen not works properly from last few days so that I want to repair it. Is it possible to repair my laptop screen. As a result I am looking for laptop screen repair center. In online search I found this laptop screen repair. I am not quit sure their services quality. If any one know about that or any recommendation for me please refer it to me. thanks

You should have been syncing your contacts with your computer from day one. Your computer is where all of your inof should live. The iphone simply allows it to be protable. Have you failed to keep your contacts on your computer?
All pics taken with your iphone should be imported to your computer regularly as you would with any digital computer. Have you failed to do this?

How to blank laptop screen when using external monitor/

I need some help with figuring out how to configure my xorg.conf for my Arch Linux 64 bit installation on a HP Pavilion dv 5000 laptop so that I can automatically blank my laptop screen when using an external monitor. I have Arch Linux installed along with Ubuntu Feisty. In Ubuntu my external monitor (Viewsonic 1912WB) was not detected at the time of installation but with the native 1280X800 resolution that is good for the laptop takes effect for the external monitor automatically when the external monitor is plugged in. The laptop monitor goes blank when the external monitor is plugged in.
In my Arch Linux installation I have not been able to configure a dual head configuration using the ATI Radeon drivers (fglrx). I have the native 1280X800 resolution set up for the laptop monitor and this resolution takes effect for the external monitor also. However the laptop monitor also continues to function when the external monitor is plugged in. I would like to blank the laptop monitor when using the external monitor.
I am attaching my Arch Linux xorg.conf and the Ubuntu xorg.conf below. Thanks for anyone who can help, I am having a lot of difficulty in figuring out how to set up xorg.conf among all the things that I have had to learn so far in Linux and I am a relative newcomer to the whole thing. I have tried to compare the two xorg.conf files and edit my Arch xorg.conf in accordance with the Ubuntu one but it did not work and I keep getting errors!

Xrandr 1.2 provides means for this. But today the only supported configuration is xorg-server-1.3 + xf86-video-intel-2.0. So for Radeon you'll have to wait for drivers that support Randr 1.2.
On my laptop (Thinkpad x60s) that would be:

Broken screen is not a user repairable item...you need to visit an Apple store genius bar or Apple Authorized repair service to have it replaced. If you have AppleCare you are allowed one out-of-warranty damage repair for a reduced price.

If your content is still being displayed incorrectly, I would check the resolution setting for the built in display with this article:

If it keeps happening whenever you use AirPlay then I would use this section of the following article to reset the display system:

You sound like an Apple support guy who hasn't been able to answer my questions.
To respond to some of the points you made,
- I did not ignore Ocean20's suggestion. If you has read my post, you would have known that I took my phone to the apple service centre where they tried this restore on THEIR machines. I am assuming that Apple guys know how not to block iTunes. So I actually do not understand your point about me trying the hosts file changes on my machine. Do you not believe that apple tested this issue with the correct settings?
- you also give a flawed logic of why the issue is a hardware issue. You mentioned that If I thought that the issue was with the software, i should try a restore and getting it to work. The problem is that my error (23), and many others comes up when the restore fails. And you would be astonished to know that not all errors are hardware errors. Sometimes even software errors prevent restores. Funnily enough Apple itself mention that 'in rare cases, error 23 could be hardware related'.
- all Apple has done so far is replicate the issue. I don not know how anyone can conclude that the issue is a hardware issue.
And by the way, I am not certain that this is a software bug. Again if you read my Posts, you will notice I only want a confirmation,/proof that the issue is hardware related as they mention..

How can I stop Firefox from 'talking' every time I click a new item on my laptop screen?

Without my doing anything, all of a sudden my Firefox started talking every time I click something on my laptop screen. Example: I clicked the link that took me to this page. Firefox said "new window... Firefox menu ... Ask a New Question ..." I don't need this, it interferes with all that I do that requires my speaker turned on. How can I stop this?
