How to replace audio in existing edit?

I've got some edited footage that I want to improve the audio for by processing in Adobe Audition. In the future, I will pre-process all my clips and then perform the edit, but I don't have the luxury of that with this project. I know I can edit the audio clips in Audition with the right-click option and the audio gets replaced, but that causes each edit to be clipped at both ends, whereas the original clip was from a larger clip and dropped in the timeline with in/out points. The difference being that I can cross-fade the original edit from shot to shot. With an Audition replaced edit, the ends are clipped and you can't do that.
So, my question is whether or not there is some other method of processing the audio in external applications and replacing them in the existing edit without disturbing the edit?

If I have this right you have your sequence fully edited?
There is a workaround, messy and time consuming but it will not spoil the video element of the sequence.
Process: -
Drag the audio for each clip so that it is on a track with space at either end of it.
Unlink each clip.
For every audio clip extend each audio's head and tail
Then use the edit in Audition link
The clips are individually processed
Then you can go back adjust the head and tail to what you want and fade out and in as you wish.
I'd manually fade each clip rather than add an audio transition
Take care not to alter the video clips at any time or you will go out of sync

What's the best way now to sync that audio to the existing edit? I only see options to sync clips in the event browser but that won't affect the timeline edit.

Do you know the best way to set markers when using multi cam clips? Is it better to set the marker to one of the clips before creating the multi cam clip, or set them to the actual multi cam clip?

How do I replace low quality audio on a music video to a higher better quality audio with final cut pro x?
I have the new audio on cd which I can rip and replace the original audio.
Some audio and music videos are not of same length, In cases like this how do I sync video to the newly replaced audio?

Providing you don't need the video synced or cut to a beat, all you need to do is place your music in the primary storyline
Connect your video above.
While your video is connected, hit CMD+R on your keyboard and stretch the video to the length of the music
If you were to cut the video to a beat, simply add markers on your music track, then connect and trim clips to your markers.

I have a comp track that contains several takes. I have already finished quick swipe editing between takes. Now I would like to select one of the takes and relink the region to a different file in my audio bin. My goal is to replace one take with a different audio file while NOT changing the quick swipe editing. Is this possible?

While your answer is helpful, it's not a desired solution for me because the comp track is one channel of a multi-channel recording (two different mics). I don't want to drag a new take into the comp track because the comp track is grouped with other comp tracks for editing purposes, and I don't want to disturb the editing I've already done.
It seems like I "should" be able to select a region in the arrange window and "re-link" the file to any other file in the audio bin (thereby replacing the file with the other). After years of working in graphic layout programs, such as Adobe InDesign, I'm expecting this sort of feature to exist already. I'm pretty sure I've seen it before... but I've used Cubase, Digital Performer, Studio One and Pro Tools, and I'm not sure where I saw it.
Have I described what I'm looking for clearly? I'm not sure it's coming across in what I've written. Can Logic do this?

If you use the tool UploadTest bundled with ACS4.1 distribution (it has to be 4.1 or above; 4.0's will not replace already existing resources), create the associated XML:

Note that, in the XML:
<resource> has to be exactly the same as the UUID of the book already in ACS that you intend to replace.
There is a directive <action>replace</action>.
You use <dataPath> if you'd prefer to package an epub residing not on your local machine, but on the server. Inside it you specify the path where it resides on the server.
Then run the tool from the Terminal like this:
java -Xmx512M -jar /pathTo/UploadTest-1_2.jar http://domain.com/Package ~/epubs/ -datapath -xml -jpg -pass yourpassword
Where:
/pathTo/UploadTest-1_2.jar points to ACS 4.1 or above's UploadTest sample tool.
http://domain.com/Package is the URL to your server's ACS's install of the Packaging service (depending on your server's install, port may have to be specified like http://domain.com:8080/Package)
~/epubs/ is your local path where the XML resides. Note that UploadTest will try to process all XML in that folder, not just the one you just created.
Again, you use -datapath if you are packaging an epub residing not on your local machine, but on the server. Obviously requires the dataPath in the XML.
yourpassword is your password to ACS' Packaging service. Since you are running this on the shell, watch out for plaintext password leftovers in your command history. Some UNIX installs do not add lines to the command history if the command is preceded with a space (but YMMV).

How to delete the transparent frames that Pluraleyes adds to replaced audio clips in an event ?

I have a workflow issue working with Pluraleyes 3 and FCPX.
MY CONTEXT
So I imported all my clips into FCPX (about 300 from camera 1, about 300 from camera 2 and separate audio which ran almost with only very few interruptions on set).
I synced everything with PE which gives me back the following :
1. a new Event with replaced audio clips.
2. a new Event with one giant multicam clip.
3. a new project completely synced BUT with the non-replaced audio clips
MY PROBLEMS
1. Problem is that the clips have additional transparent frames before and after their actual video (i.e. PE makes new clips from video and longer bits of audio that do not begin/end at the same time).
2. The giant multicam clip has plenty of chunks where audio was recorded but where no video was.
MY QUESTIONS
PE has created plenty of useless clip lengths. How can I get rid of them with some batch process ?
OR if I say that another way
How can I create an EVENT that contains clips with the exact same length as the originals, only with the corresponding audio replaced ? (Please remind that I have LOTS of clips)
Moreover, the clips within the new events created by PE have (not surprisingly) lost all keywords I gave to the clips before syncing with PE. Is there any way to fix this ?

I do not see a way to separate audio channels to edit them separately in Premiere Elements (any version).
Premiere Elements does have audio effects including Balance, Fill Right/Fill Left, and Swap channels, but that is not what you are seeking.
I would refer you to an audio editor such as the free Audacity for what you want to do.

Replacing audio in QT movie doesn't change overall size of movie?

H-264 movie made for web distribution. My best video compressor only creates AIF audio files ... which are mighty big.
I made an MP3 audio file in Logic.
I replaced the original AIF audio in the Quicktime movie with the MP3 audio ... (which is 23 megs smaller) but 'info' says the QT movie is still the same size.
How can I replace audio track in QT movie (with a smaller size audio track ... and see the difference registered in the QT movie 'info'?

Open your audio/video QuickTime file and then open the the Movie Properties window.
Highlight (single click) on the "Video" track and "Extract" (upper left of that window) to make a new video only version.
Open your audio QuickTime file, select all (Command-A) and copy (Command-C). This stores your audio track on the Clipboard.
Switch back to your "extracted" video track, select all (Command-A) and choose "Add to Selection & Scale" (Edit menu).
Test this file and then "Save As" to make a self contained QuickTime .mov file from these parts.

The CRMD_PARTNER table stores the partner details that are maintained in a document say shopping cart as example (Header and Line Items).
Now to get all the partners of a the shopping cart use BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL function module. This will give all the details + partner details in table form.
Now you can use the FM BBP_PD_SC_UPDATE to change the details. You can delete an existing partner by setting the deletion indicator (DEL_IND I guess) in the partner table. If you wish to add a new partner add the partner id, partner function and guid of header / item (where the partner is required) as P_GUID.
Once the above function (BBP_PD_SC_UPDATE) call is success call the BBP_PD_SC_SAVE to save the changes.
Deleting data from SAP tables is not advisable.
Note: Once partners are assigned to a document and ordered, then you have to delete that partner and assign a new one if at all they need to be changed. Just replacing the partner guid will cause data inconsistency because except the guid all other data will still be that of the old partner. The above steps explain the procedure for the same

You installed the "Genieo" spyware/adware. There is an uninstaller, but as the developer is not trustworthy, you shouldn't rely on it. I suggest the tedious procedure below to disable Genieo.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Applications/Genieo.app
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password.
