I've problem with my Live View, battery on Live View was Broken, how to replace battrery ? I'm Fully Charging an light indicator was Green but if Live View Connect to Active baterry will be empty !
It's battery problem or Hardware on Live View ? can anyone help me ?
have you tried to update your liveview to latest firmware?
if still the problem persist I suggest you send it to your local sony service center.

Hello All, first I may be in the wrong forum. My sister has a iMac with the tray load system.
But my question may be universal, Her clock battery seems to have died because all of her dates are 1956. She has bought a battry but has no ideal how to replace it.

How soon will DW CS5 Live View Webkit support CSS3?
See above. I just tried CSS3's text-shadow (although I don't believe it's totally CSS3) and while the shadow works well in Chrome, in Opera and in Safari, DW's Live View does not render the shadow, but rather an offset black copy of the text. Webkit supports this but apparently not the webkit in DW. Will this be updated by extension or update and if so, when?

How to replace Battery Cover Pavilion ZX5000?
I bought a new battery for an old Pavilion ZX5000. It came in and fit in the slot, but the shallow plastic cover with the rubber foot was missing. I'm too stupid to figure out how to get the old plastic cover off the original battery and install it no the new battery. Can anyone help?
It is a thin plastic plate that clips on the battery. Here is the only thing like written instructions I could find for removing it from the old battery:

It is likely going to take a bit of force. You may want to use a wide flat blade like a putty knife to pry it off. -

Setting the Controller Time and Battery Age
To set the redundant array of independent disks (RAID) controller time and battery age for Sun StorageTek 5310 and Sun StorageTek 5320 NAS appliances and gateway systems. Specify the controller variable as a particular controller number, or 0..N to request all controllers.
* To reset the battery age for one or more controllers, enter:
raidctl set type=lsi target=battery-age ctlr=controller
* To synchronize the time with the server's time for one or more controllers, enter:
raidctl set type=lsi target=ctlr_time-age ctlr=controller
To obtain Help on subcommands, enter raidctl help at the command line.
It's the same for the NAS 5220?
Another question: these batteries are hotswap without any procedure?

How to replace battery on MSI K9N SLI motherboard please
Its my first attempt at repairing a PC. (the pc was constructed for me by a local man no longer in area)
I get an error message at boot up and think it could be the battery. Does the battery pop out and easily replaceable?
I am reasonably active on messing about with modern life things. I do have the manual for above but cannot see any instructions about fitting or changing.

The battery is not user-replaceable. And using an incorrect and inapproved charger would probably void your warranty. You'll need to take or send your iPhone to Apple for service, and probably will have to pay for replacement of the iPhone, though they may just charge you for the battery. Hi all,
I've been playing with the new live view in CS5 on my Drupal site. Really great, powerful stuff. I did run into a problem though. I was able to login to my site in Live View, but I can't seem to log out. I've closed the page and closed Dreamweaver, but when I start Dreamweaver up again and open the index page, I'm still logged in. Is there a way to dump the session from within Dreamweaver? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.I'm not familiar enough with Drupal to know how you log out, but Live View works exactly like a browser, so you should be able to log out in the normal way. Don't forget that you need to hold down Ctrl/Cmd when clicking links or buttons in Live View.
If that doesn't work, the simple way to log out is to use Preview in Browser. You should be able to log out from there. You're not logged into Dreamweaver, but into your local testing environment. -
How to Live View with external CSS files?
I am using a simple HTML page that references several external CSS style sheets. The style sheets are site root relative. The code validates.

In Dreamweaver, the page looks good in Design View. Previewing in a browser looks good when the box to save temporary files is checked (replaces css inline for the input to the browser.)
However the page is missing the CSS and an image that is site root relative when I try to view it with Live View.
Does Live View only work with a test server? I tried setting up a test server that points to the remote server but that does not seem to help.
I am sure I am missing something. Can someone please help?

The new battery will become less effective if you store it in a hot or humid environment. It should be stored at room temperature (22 C).
Long term storage (6 months):
Apple recommends that you store the battery with a 50% charge. If you store a battery when it’s fully discharged, it could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it incapable of holding any charge. Conversely, if you store it fully charged for an extended period of time, the battery may experience some loss of battery capacity, meaning it will have a shorter life.

How do I use Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 Live View to copy complex formatted text into web page?
Since Design View has been removed from Fluid Grid Layouts, and could be removed completely in next upgrade, I cannot use Live View to place complex text into my web pages.
Our business requires the listing of complex job descriptions on our web pages. Design View worked fine, Live View does not. Both examples are noted below.
Using Design View the web page rendered this way:

Obviously, as seen above, I'm doing something wrong or Live View does not do all the functions that Design View use to do. I realize I can still access Design View in non-Fluid Grid Layout documents and that is my current work-around. I copy from my Word file into Design View available in non-Fluid, then copy that code into my Fluid Grid Layout document, not real efficient use of my time. And, even that work-around may not be available after the next upgrade.Hans thank you for your reply and attention to this matter. Moreover, with your steeped expertise I do not, in any fashion, intend to be flippant or capricious.
However, I do not believe the reply is on point since I'm not discussing the insertion of an HTML tag/element; but rather, the placing of complex formatted text into my various web pages.
Design View and 2014.1 Live View seem to serve different functions. That is, Design View, for us, serves as a highly sophisticated HTML5 code generator that allows us to properly display complex formatted text that originally is created as a Word docx file. As I noted in my original post, the complex formatted text from the Word file is then pasted into Design View and thus properly renders on the web page. I invite you to try this yourself. Simply copy my properly formatted text in my original post (that can be found at "Using Design View the web page rendered this way:") to a Word file, and it will retain the complex formatting, then copy that Word file text to both Design View and 2014.1 Live View files. Please apprise me of your results.
Discussion has been had in at least two separate threads on the Design View disappearance in Fluid Grid. In https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1597260 staff member Lalita wrote "It would be helpful for us if you list the issues you are seeing with fluid grid live view editing." And in https://forums.adobe.com/message/6807088#6807088 staff member Subhadeep wrote "If you can list down the workflows you are trying while editing in Live View & the issues you are facing in doing so, it will help us understand what is amiss & suggest alternative workflows to do the same." I believe I've pointed out issues when attempting to use Live View for functions or work flow that customarily had been done in Design View.
Being a CC subscriber, if someone can provide me with a workflow using other additional Adobe products to get my complex formatted text from Word ultimately to my Dreamweaver web page, be it an image insert or whatever, I would take the suggestions.

Salary Range: $146,300 to $243,800+ Description: This position is responsible for oversight and strategic direction of advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, that drive business performance consistent with company goals and objectives. Collaborates within the division and cross-divisionally to develop and integrate statistical models into various processes. Oversees research of new and innovative analytic tools and techniques. Primary accountabilities include: • Advanced Analytics Oversight (40%): o Provides oversight and direction for the design, development, and evaluation of predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to business solutions. o Directs the most complex and vital analytics work critical to the organization. o Oversees advanced exploratory analytics that produce a variety of business solutions. o Conducts peer review on technical aspects of projects. o Partners with business areas (Commercial Lab, EDM, IS, etc.) on data innovation. • Portfolio Strategy and Management (25%): o Collaborates with Strategic Data & Analytics Vice President as well as business partners internal and external to the division to develop and execute advanced analytics strategy and project portfolio. o Leverages business acumen and domain expertise in directing advanced analytics strategy and application. o Aligns plans to divisional and corporate objectives/goals and integrates within the corporate planning cycle. o Monitors and analyzes advanced analytics resources. Assesses needs and appropriately allocates resources to priorities and initiatives. o Works with divisional management to improve work processes that impact work environment and divisional resources. o Provides overall portfolio/project management oversight and direction for a variety of advanced analytics project. Oversees measurement, monitoring and reporting of project progress and resource utilization. Manages project resources to ensure timely delivery of projects consistent with divisional goals and objectives. o Coordinates with business partners (Analytics Strategy, etc.) on knowledge management and participates in business area meetings. Maintains holistic view of the business. Ensures rapid delivery and execution of insights derived from data analytics into the organization. • Analytic Tools and Techniques Research Oversight (15%): o Sets the vision for the use of new and innovative tools and technology. o Maintains and fosters an industry awareness of new developments in analytics techniques and tools, and ensures quick execution in their use within the department. o Interfaces with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Information Services (IS) on evolving technological and data needs and requirements. • Strategies Linked to the Division's Business Goals/Results (10%): o Establishes, communicates, and implements departmental plans, objectives, and strategies. o Participates as a member of the Management Team. o Maintains an active awareness of our Client's business environments, corporate culture, and structure to support key decision-making. • Management/Leadership for Department or Unit (10%): o Manages direct reports, systems, and projects to achieve department/unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices. o Prepares and analyzes department/unit plans and reports. o Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area. o Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance, and maintaining open communications. o Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments, and establishing performance & development plans. </div>
It is readily apparent that Design View is a much needed code generator in the Dreamweaver product. Live View serves completely other, and needed, purposes. Therefore, I still, after all the forum discussions, do not understand why Design View has been removed from Fluid Grid.
Again Hans thank you for your reply. But unless I'm missing something, citation to the links you provided does not solve my problem. And that problem is this: If Design View is on its way out and thus will be completely removed from Dreamweaver at some point, then how do I provide my information (i.e. complex executive job descriptions) on my website?
Apparently a vote is taking place https://forums.adobe.com/ideas/3922 on the issue of placing Design View back into Fluid Grid. I do not understand why the need for two rather disjunctive functionalities are at the mercy of the democratic process. These are matters of engineering principles not "town hall gatherings". -
How come I can see my div in design view but not in live view
Hi,
I have a div ID called "portfolio" that I can see in design view but not live view or on a browser. It's a little pink square and I want that square round also.
I ran it through validator. It picked up some things in the style.css which I changed and the boilerplate.css that I did not. Because I thought DW auto creates code for boilerplate because I don't enter that code myself.
It's also rejecting a lot of webkit code but this seems like standard webkit code that works elsewhere on the page.
BTW: at what point does this brutal hand coding pay off in money and less heartache when Wordpress looks cleaner and is so much easier to use? I feel like I barely know HTML or CSS in terms of translating vision to reality and with all-browser functionality after months and months of on-line classes. How long are the pros at it till they reach a watershed point?
