How to report a problem about apple maps?

Apple is getting map data from various places.I saw openstreetmaps is also a map partner for apple.The I installed openstreetmaps on my ipad.it is perfectly fine for Sri Lanka and has directions and roads very clearly....although openstreetmaps is a partner of apple,there is no detailed roads nor directions whatsoever on apple maps.how could this happen...I reported this problem many times using apple maps report problem tab.but it hasn't changed or improved in Sri Lanka.....please report this to apple using your idevices...we want maps in Sri Lanka.

    thanks for your response roaminggnome. I changed my password immediately after it happened and I have contacted i tunes to let them know of this dillemma.
    The I-tunes credit was a promotional thing by Apple to buy their laptop. So I didn't pay for the i-tunes credit in the first place. Do you think my bank will be able to reinburse Itunes credit then? I will ask support when they get back to me.

    What type of problem ? If you've been over-charged then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
    If the item doesn't work, then depending upon the item type (app, ibook, music etc) then you might be able to re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store or iTunes store app : re-downloading . Music, films and tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all countries. If it's an app then you should also try contacting the app's developer before using the 'report a problem'
    If you aren't in a country where you can re-download the item or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that item and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
    Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

    Store > View My Account > Purchase History > Report a problem.
    Contact the store and explain the issue. They should be able to reissue your download or take whatever other steps are necessary to resolve your problem.

    I can't find anywhere on the support site how to report a MobileMe problem to them. They lost all of my calendars and I have no course to be made whole again. They say there is email support, but that 1 Infinite Loop thing is more than just a street address. I'm very frustrated that I can't find a way to get support for a product I pay for on a subscription basis as well as having several devices that work with it that are now handicapped by its failure.     The problem is that the live-chat feature doesn't appear on page load. First you need to choose a category from the column on the left, then a topic, then the chat option comes up, although it is unavailable from 7 PM to 8 AM CST.

    The biggest improvement to be made to this app is to allow users to delete it. I am disgusted with apple that they have IMPOSED this rubbish software on us, it is vastly inferior in useability and content to google and yet it was foisted on us simply for corporate greed because they could stand having google maps on board. Why not wait until you have made something that is as good or actually BETTER than google maps then launch it and wow customers? That is what aple used to do.  Now they cynically make a poor product and force it on us. Shame on you apple.

  • Problem with Apple Map in Japan

    In Japan Apple Maps doesn't works good. If I ask for a route from A to B the only directrions from the app are using a car or by walk. But the 80% of japanese people moves by train. Any kynd of info asked about the pubblic transortations don't work at all. Even switching the language of the app in japenese. NOTHING!
    This is a big big problem. I want my Google map back or a quick fix of this new app.

    There will be no google maps back as a native app, Apple will eventually roll out an update to fix some of the more glaring bugs in iMaps. However streetview is propriertary to google maps, so people shouldn't hold their breaths for that... ever.

    I don't know that this is the right place to put this but quite frankly I am sick of looking.
    I am sure I am not the only person with this problem......I have an Apple product, something doesn't work or doesn't work right but it isn't so cataclismic that it is worth a call to tech support, maybe just an issue any decent company would want to know about to improve the product or in this case the preloaded, cannot be gotten rid of music application......said person (in this case me) goes onto the Apple website and after 20 minutes of looking cannot find anything resembling a "report an problem" area, all there is for me to just politely tell Apple that periodically and completely out of nowhere the music player on my iPhone 5 just shuts off.  It doesn't happen all the time and seems to have no precursers of any kind, none I can figure out anyway.  Again not so annoying that I am going to badmouth the product because honestly this is the sum total of my complaints with the phone, but I tell you there is nothing more annoying than to be rocking out, blasting some tunes, singing and dancing like a fool and to have the music just shut off.  It's like my mother lives in the phone and since she doesn't feel like walking up to my room to tell me to turn my stereo down she walks outside to the fuse box and cuts power to my room.  True story by the way and now I am reliving that trauma.  Thank you.

    Not true. Offline data access is based on the app, which can opt to save maps (vector or raster maps) for use offline.
