I found someone's ipod touch at a walmart in my area, and would like to know if there is any way to locate this person? The ipod is locked.
The only other thing you can do is to take the iPod to a place with unsecured wi-fi (like a starbucks) or temporarily turn off the security on your own wi-fi router (be sure that all your wi-fi devices are turned off when do this). On the off chance that the owner has activiated the iCloud Find My iPod service s/he could send you a message on how to contact him. Most people forget to set this up, so a contact is unlikely; but it is possible.

IPhoto Freezing up. How to report this to Apple?
I am experiencing freezing issues with iPhoto and have all the latest firmware updates installed. I edit hundreds of photos in my library daily. Several times during this process, iPhoto freezes up, and the little rainbow ball just keeps spinning, and I am unable to do anything. I never get the "error" message with the option to report it to Apple. How to I manually report this to Apple? I do not need one on one service, and I am out of my 90-day period anyway. I only know of a way to report problems with iTunes. How does an iPhoto user report problems?
Thanks,
JayJay
That
"error" message with the option to report it to Apple
Happens when an app crashes. I doubt that any human reads those reports, but my guess is that they are datamined, so I don't think doing that will find you a quick solution
Why not try here for help.
How big is your HD? How much free space on it? How big is your library? What Mac are you on? How much RAM do you have? Are you editing RAW or jpeg?
Regards

This service is terrible I couldnt download an in app and now I have to keep looking for advise among other users just because apple does not have a regular customer service where I can report this problem... this is really dissapointing...

E1000g driver broken on solaris 10 u6; how to report this bug correctly?
Question also posted in OpenSolaris forums:
While upgrading a T2000 server to solaris 10 update 6 I found that my jumbo
interfaces report errors on reboot.
One frequent cause was that the update replaced /kernel/drv/e1000g.conf file
(I changed the MaxFrameSize line to enable jumbo frames). This in-persistency
of the file is annoying but well-known (bonus question: can I make changes to
this file persistent?)
However, the system still refused to set MTU = 9000 on the interfaces, and by
default it assigns an MTU=8978 (instead of 16384 or 10244 as expected from
other systems; we only need 9000 though). Googling showed that a few people
have also discussed this regression.
Copying in the driver file (/kernel/drv/sparcv9/e1000g) from Solaris 10 u4
worked (network goes up, needed MTU is assigned). This doesn't seem like a
suported and "enterprise" solution, so I want this bug to be known and fixed by
Sun in the main tree.
I haven't found any numbered bug report on this matter. How can I submit a bug
for this regression in Solaris 10 (I couldn't reproduce the problem in OpenSolaris)?
Can someone with access and skill please post the bug for us? :)
e1000g driver module versions involved:
sol10u4 (working): Intel PRO/1000 Ethernet 5.1.11
sol10u6 (bad MTU limit): Intel PRO/1000 Ethernet 5.2.8
//Jim KlimovHello again, Mr. Cohen, and thank you for your corrections to my style.
No offense taken, since it makes sense when you put it this way,
and the point is taken - I'll try to be that specific next time. Thanks.
Returning to the problem at hand, however with the abundance of
Sun's tools to submit bugs (including those you pointed out above),
I believed I might not know of some one more bugtracker.
I also thought that "support cases" did differ from "bugs" which arise,
taking my example, when Sun (or Intel?) took a working e1000g driver
and "fixed" so it's no longer working - and then Sun releases it into
the commercial version of the OS this way through all the presumed
Q&A. And wants commercial users to pay for fixing it back. That's
the part of the logic I found flawed somehow ;)
So yes, you can say that I'm "cheap" to pay for Sun fixing something
they broke themselves.
I originally posted this report on OpenSolaris forum in hope someone
would point out my misconfiguration or confirm that the problem exists
for others.
That forum (and/or the bugtracker search for keyword e1000g) also have
a number of posts complaining about the vast number of ways this one
e1000g driver was broken lately in 90s-100s OpenSolaris builds. Some
posters even went as far as to suggest that someone reviews all works
of the engineers and managers who are responsible for these recent
flawed putpacks, or even provide some disciplinary action.
I wouldn't go that far, but I was still saddened to find some other bug
leak into the kinda-stable Solaris.

I am a web developer. The bug is in latest versions of FF however works fine in previous versions 6-9 (I believe), IE,Chrome. Please go to http://partybannerman.com/svg2/svg-editor.php?id=108&catid=35&wch=MXx5
Select the number 7 with the arrow tool. Observe the location of the cursor
Click-drag the selection and closely watch the cursor.
The cursor no longer is in the same relative position. relative to the object selected.
This is particularly annoying when zoomed into the "7".
The precision is necessary for commands that we are implementing that require the cursor position relative to the object selected to be exact.
Please advise, and thanks for your helpNot entirely sure I follow your instructions. One thing I do note is the initial starting position of the "7" differs when I compare Firefox (17 or 10) with Chrome. Is that relevant ?
I wonder if part of the difference may be in how differing browsers cope with the code. I am not a developer and do not know how relevant this is but I note if I try the validator http://validator.w3.org/unicorn/ it is returning some errors.
If you do think there is a bug try to make a simple test-case that demonstrates this and post in [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ bugzilla]. If this appears to be a regression it would be handy to pin it down at least to a particular Firefox version, although users should not now be using Firefox 6-9. (Drill down from [https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ here] if you need an old version of Firefox to run tests with)
Someone more knowledgeable may provide further information, or if you need advice on troubleshooting coding issues you may find this forum useful http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=25 -
If someone stole my iPod, how easy it is for this person to steal my information?
I just lost my iPod touch.
It could be lost or stolen by someone on purpose.
I would like to know how easy it is for others to hack into my iPod touch to read information in it?
I would like to report the loss/stolen to a police.
Should I erase the content through iCloud first or after the reporting?
Well, it is also related to how easy for this person to hack into my iPod.........Erase the iPod now if you can. Does it show up in FIndMyiPhone in iCloud?
Yes report to police and change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod.
I have been told that with a a four digit passcode one, with the proper computer program gain access in a little less than an hour. Having the iPod set up to erase the iPod after 10 failed attempts does not function if you try accessing the iPod via the dock connector. With a long, complex passcode it is very secure. -
Problem with an incoming message. For example, during my conversation the second line receives a call, I hear the sound in dynamics such as "piiiip piiiip," but when in this situation I recieve SMS and i hear established melody and I do't hear the person on all over SMS. How to solve this problem? Perhaps someone tell me? save in advance
Not Charge
- See:
iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
iPhone and iPod touch: Charging the battery
- Try another cable. The cable for 5G iPod (lightning connector) seems to be more prone to failure than the older cable.
- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Hello,
Everything works fine when you invite people to your personal cloud.. You're given the Username and Password and the group in the invitation email.
To access this Personal Cloud from a Web browser, use the following URL:
https://xxxxxxxx.mylenovoemc.com
Here's the information you need to join:
Cloud Name: xxxxxxx
Username: test1
Password: xxxxxxxx
This part is fine.
Now when we go to the login page and it asks the username and password and press LOGIN It forwards to management page. Here the account has no access, cause we dont want the new account to have any management access. There is also no place you can go from there. No links to share folder or anything so basicly the account is stuck there.
https://xxxxxxxx.mylenovoemc.com/manage/manage.html?cat=all
And the real url should be:
https://xxxxxxx.mylenovoemc.com/manage/foldercontent.html?folder=test1
This url works fine for the account for image views etc, but the new account has no way of knowing of this account How can we change the management url to the working url when customer clicks LOGIN ?
Best regards,
MiikkaHello miikkakolari
when remote users access your cloud via the personal cloud address, the homepage that you setup under Home Page Settings in the web interface will load. The default should be the .../manage/index.html
This will allow remote users to access the default public landing page where they can login to access secured content or if admin level login and manage the device.
Usually when the personal cloud address goes to the admin console login, it means you either have Home Page turned off or you have set the home page to an address that requires admin access.

/GVKQfAI1CNxjGCPgcLGnBjyU43Q70dyK6SQsEkDz71iWFoeyDBCA+If you don't know the sender, then it is most likely a scam or spam email. I get them every day - I just delete them. I also get daily notices from Facebook or someone called Adriana at Facebook even though i do not have an account there. Can't do anything about it - just delete it.
-
hi over the past month have received maybe 5 scam emails from apple.
I opened one the other day cause I thought well maybe it is from apple.
went through the steps and it was amazed at how well they did at copying apple website. you could even go to the apple shop page from their page!
what set me off that it was fake was that I tried to open the other apple pages along the top and it wouldn't let me. so I opened my own apple page and logged in. and realised that they don't ask for your bank details in your Apple ID account.
anyways so now what has happened is I got an email today " from myself" with this same scam email. it is as if they have hacked my email account and sending me these emails. I want to report this to apple but am unable to find any contact details apart from call back options. does any one have any advice on this.I've had that same exact issue, I received the first e-mail claiming to be from Apple last night (though over the past week I've received two other scam e-mails from different addresses claiming that my bank transactions have been aborted). It said it was from my own address, and I checked it closely to make sure it wasn't a spoof account but found it was indeed my own e-mail address. Five minutes ago I changed my password, and I have just now received a second e-mail exactly the same, still coming from my own account. My best guess at an explanation is that it may have been sent before I changed my password and there was just a delay in the message sending, resulting in it coming through after changing my password.
I've now forwarded the e-mail on as an attachment to the [email protected] address, however this still doesn't help me with regards to stopping these e-mails. It concerns me that even though I changed my password they still possibly have access to my account. I tried checking my account activity but as opening the mail app on my iPhone is considered as a log in and I check it almost twice an hour, it's impossible to tell which could possible be an intruder logging in. -
In this report i have marked one line..if this width < 30,i need to multiply by a number 0.3 and if the width >=30,it multiplies by 0.37...how to use this logic here..??? anyone can help??

the report should display the number of users logged in to the system with there system name
and the transaction they are doing..
and these data should be updated for every 5 min in any of the ztable
that table should hold the data for atleast 15 days
how to do this reporthi kalyani,
you can find the transactions by a particular user from the transaction SM04.
SM04 gives you the details of the users logged in,terminals, transactions the user is working on, the time he has logged in,no of sessions user has opened, and the memory used by the user's programs... all of that w.r.t to the client we login. but we can't get info like date and number of times the user has logged in.
U can see tables:
USR01 User master record (runtime data)
USR02 Logon data
USR03 User address data
USR05 User Master Parameter ID
USR12 User master authorization values
You can also use transaction code ST03N.
1. Go to tx code - ST03N
2. Under "Workload" you can select your "Instance or Total" so that it expands and shows you Days, Week, Month.
3. If you want to look at the transactions executed for a particular day, lets say, then double click on any day.
4. At the bottom left you get "Analysis Views"
5. Select & expand "User and Settlement Statistics"
6. Double click on "User Profile"
7. On the right side of the window you get a list of all the users
8. Double click on a particular user you want to view the details of.
9. The new screen will display the "Transactions/Reports Utilized by User XXX"
If you wanna track which users executed a particular transacation then follow this:
10. In "Analysis Views" expand "Transaction Profile"
11. Double click on "Standard"
You can view the list of Transactions and Reports.
12. Double click on the Tx Code or Report you wanna check and it will show the Use of it.
This will help you.

SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio
Please BEWARE that I have NO EXPERIENCE and NO EXPERTISE and probably onset of DEMENTIA which may affect my answers! Also, I've been told by an expert, that when you post an image it clutters up the thread and mysteriously, over time, the link to the image
will somehow become "unstable" or something to that effect. :) I can only surmise that is due to Global Warming of the threads.
