How to request the web desktop version?

I think in previous Firefox versions (or maybe in the Tablet version) it have an option to request the Desktop version of the website, instead of the .mobile. Is it possible with the 14 beta version?
I know there is the Phony extension, I'm asking to an integrated feature.

Hi Dimass,
We don't have an integrated feature for this, but I do keep asking about it and I'm hopeful that we will get it for tabletUI when it lands (currently planned for FF15, I believe). We pulled out the feature because it didn't work reliably enough, so I think they will rework it or integrate phony in the future version.

or if you have Apple Remote Desktop on an administrator system, you can see the workstation client versions by control-clicking in the header in the computer list and selecting to show the ARD version column.

How to config the web.xml file, when I use Richfaces + RI 1.2?

I want to use Richfaces + RI 1.2 to build a project. I don`t know how to config the web.xml file.
By the way, my web server is Tomcat 6.0, my JDK's version is 6u6. I don`t want to use the facelets.

Steps to follow to create WAD in WEB Template in 3.5 or 7.0 u2026u2026..
Go to All programs and select your web application designer
Select the button to create a new page in WAD
Select the chart and place in the layout
Next goto Data provider Target and select your query
Give your report name in the given data provider screen
Select your query in History/find/Favourites/Infoareas button
Select your query in this screen and click OPEN
Now we can see the data provider is assigned to the chart.
To edit the chart you have to right click on the chart
After right click on it we will find another screen where we can edit all the settings
In this screen we can find NEXT click button to change our settings
In this screen we can state the tasks (Title, units, values, range)
In this screen we can change our background /validity/color
In this screen we can add values to the chart
In this screen we can add validity/positions/order/axis types to the chart
In this screen we can change the global settings/and overview of the chart.
This screen shows that we have customized the chart successfully
After successful creation of the chart we have to save the chart
Save your chart in your favorites by giving the description and technical name in the given block.
Now execute your WAD by selecting the execute button
The BEx Web Application Designer is a desktop application for creating Web applications with BW-specific contents. Using the BEx Web Application Designer, you can create an HTML page that contains contents such as various tables, charts or maps. This HTML page (Web application) provides the basis for not only Web applications with complex interaction, but also for Web cockpits and iViews.

had your tried checking on the "Use IP instead of host
name" checkbox?
to edit your registered application info, go to
"Upload Mobile Component" tab and click on the Edit icon
on the left part of the record list which corresponds to
the application you had just uploaded.
your application is uploaded to the same host as your
web console application is running on. if you like to
point it to a different server where you have your
archive accessible, you have to change your mcd
deployment attributes on your middleware. try the ff:
1)run tcode: mi_mcd
2)click on Create Mobile Component
3)Enter Mobile Solution Name and Version
4)Click on Display MCD
5)Select Deployment Tab
6)Click on Edit
7)Change the values of WEBSERVER and WEBPATH location eg.
if your archive is located at
http://myotherserver:80/archive/myapplication.war
your entry will be:
WEBSERVER: http://myotherserver:80
WEBPATH: /archive/myapplication.war
where you myotherserver is the name of your http host
server and myapplication.war is the name of your archive.
the archive directory is just a virtual directory where
your application archive is.
you might need to change the port number depending on
your http server port.

In BI 7.0 the Queries which u devoleped can be broad casted by using two ways .
1. Enterprise portal
2.Web Application Designer(WAD)
So you can choose any of the option, For the Option 1 you should have seperate server for the EP or else For option 2 you have to make some setting in the BI system to enable the Web reports..

I JUST downloaded it tonight and my computer doesn't have that little edit bar to work with so I can download the proper Adobe player and my internet has been screwed up ever since I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I just want the old version of it back since I apparently can't download the Adobe stuff that is necessary to keep my computer safe from Hackers. It sure would have been nice to know there was an issue with the new Firefox Update BEFORE I uploaded it. I have Vista which is usually an issue with both Adobe and Firefox. I don't seem to be able to run much of Adobe at all on my computer because of the Vista.

Can any one let me know how to customize the web item TEXT ELEMENTS. When we place the web item Text element in the web template, it displays the query details and the info provider details.
I question is I do not want to list all the list that is displayed in the text elements. I want to see only part of the list....can any one whether this is possible or not..if possible how...?

How to change the source module version

Hi All,
In the OWB i created a source module and during those steps i clicked on version 10.1, but during deployment in the deployment managaer when i tried to register the location, its giving me an error as "Source verison 10.1 is not matching with the target version 10.2", can any one please help me or Advice me as to how to change the "source module version"?

If I understand your question correctly, this is something
you can do
in a Breeze meeting. Within the meeting, you would need to
open a
share pod and choose to share your screen. Once your screen
is being
shared, you can click on the right hand corner menu and
choose
"Whiteboard overlay". Then presenters, hosts, and
participants with
enhanced share pod priveleges will be able to "paint on top
of" the
desktop image (whatever application you're sharing).

You can get PortletRequest from (PortletRequest)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequest(). It has all the helper methods of HttpServletRequest. I am not sure about HttpServletRequest...since it is being protected in PortletRequestImpl.
