How to resell a MacBook Air with liquid damage

I have a MacBook Air that won't turn on due to liquid damage. (It was turned on when it happened so I'm afraid that the liquid got in and did quite a bit of damage even though I did dry it off.) Before that, however, it was in excellent condition. The price of Apple restoring it to warranty is high enough that I prefer to buy a new computer instead of having it fixed. What I'm now wondering is what kind of resale value it has, e.g. to someone who could mine it for parts. What parts might still be of use? And what's the best way to clear the hard drive to protect my data? Is clearing the hard drive an easy job in spite of the fact that it won't turn on?

You should take the bottom plate off and remove the SSD (see ifixit.com video)
your private data is still extremely likely 100% retrievable from same.
Your AIr has a SSD ,not a hard drive.

damaged / dead Air fetch a "lot" on ebay, theyre needed for parts...... and are in high demand.
Repair people out there are looking for your parts!
Ebay.com has dead macbook Airs that suffered catastrophic spills, drops, etc.

How to factory reset Macbook Air with Mavericks

I work at a pawn shop and have a Macbook air with OS X 10.9 installed. I need to be able to reset this, so the previous owner's information is not compromised before selling it. When powering on the Mac I am unable to use any boot commands to get to terminal or recovery options because a screen with a lock and a password entry box show up. How can I bypass this to reset the mac?

I have addressed the issue with the other team members going forward, but I still have potentially 1-4 months of affected inventory...which is potentially a huge financial loss.
I don't doubt that this particular machine was tested before it was purchased, but if the general assumption was, passwords are no big deal, we can just boot to recoery mode and reset the mac later, then this would have been no cause for concern.
either way, I have to find away around this for my current inventory. I will get some torx screw drivers and try removing the ram.

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.

What do you mean by "pair"? If you're asking about Bluetooth pairing, the only thing you could do if you paired them would be to share the iPad's internet connection. iOS doesn't have the BT profiles for file sharing or syncing.

I recently purchased a Macbook Air with 1.7 Ghz Intel Core i5 4 gb Ram 11" with 128 Gb storage.
All is well but I would like to increase the storage in my Mac, to the maximum possible 512, 1 tb what ever possible.
I am in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia right now. No Apple Stores exist here at the moment. But I have noticed several authorized resellers.
Kindly guide me if, first of all this is possible or not, if yes then how can I go about doing this being in the country (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) that I am.
I also want to purchase an iMac, but the local shops don't seem to have stock and would like to inquire if I could order it online and have it delivered to my home/office here.
