How to reset Datamart Status in BI 7.0

Hi,
Data flow:
source system -> DSO1 -> DSO2
I have deleted DTP data request from DSO2 by deleting entries from tables RSICCONT & RSMONICDP. I am not able to delete datamart staus of DSO1. Deletion of datamart status is terminated with following error:
Request DTPR_*** not in list of all requests in ODS2
Please suggest any tables from which i can delete the entry and Datamart status of DSO1 will get reset automatically.
Thanks,
Swati

Hi NS
Thanks for your reply.
There is no other target than DSO2. the only request loaded is deleted from target.
Do you have any clue about the table which maintains datamart status for DTP load just like RSDMDELTA has information about infopackeage delta loads.
thanks,
Swati

  • How to reset battery status in menu bar?

After upgrading to 10.5.5 I experienced sudden loss of performance with both of my batteries.
Overnight the battery yielded only 45 min, and the recharge time was usually about 40 min as well.
As a result of frustration, I decided to crack open the case of 1 battery and connect a 12V 20W bulb to fully discharge the battery.
Possibly as a result of the deep discharge, the battery took 6 hrs to recharge, and now yields approx 3-4 hrs of power.
HERE IS THE PROBLEM. The battery status in the menu bar does not seem to reflect the battery's newly found performance.
It keeps says "40 min." left, and when it runs out of minutes, it displays: "Calculating ... remaining"
The same odd behaviour occurs when charging the battery. It says: "35 min" to full charge, and when it runs out of minutes it displays: "Battery finishing charging"
MOREOVER, yesterday, the low level power indicator appeared, but the computer kept working for another 1.5 hrs before going to sleep.
Finally the System profiler shows this information
    Battery Information:
    Battery Installed: Yes
    First low level warning: No
    Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 1661
    Remaining Capacity (mAh): 1361
    Amperage (mA): -1203
    Voltage (mV): 11441
    Cycle Count: 71
After the deep discharge, the Full Charge capacity jumped form 640 to 1661.
    That's good, isn't it?
But how can I reset the battery status in the menu bar to reflect the actual performance of the
battery? Or did the deep discharge damage something?
    Regards

I talked to Apple repeatedly and they refused to replace the battery in spite of the many good arguments I brought forward. Their only argument is that the battery is old (was shipped in 2006)
I even requested them to ask their own technicians whether
it is normal for a battery with only 71 cycles to discharge so soon.
    My request was declined.

  • How to reset sync status of iDevice without wiping it?

Ok, iTunes 11.1 syncing seems to be a lot better than it used to be, it no longer seems to want to wipe your iDevice every time you click on a setting ("enabling sync for music will erase all apps on your device, are you sure you want to do that?  "No" - "ok, not syncing music, wiping all your apps, you're welcome!").
Now, when you connect a device (say, an iPad) to iTunes that's never been synced before, it pops up to ask if you want to set it up as a new iPad or restore from an existing backup (if any exist).  You can't do anything else at that point.  Obviously, if you've already been doing stuff on it you don't want to restore, so you say to set it up as a new device.  This will immediately do a backup and transfer all apps that you already have loaded on it.  So far, so good, this is much better than the way it used to work when you want to pair it with iTunes for syncing, it used to want to wipe everything you'd done out when you first turned on sync on a device that you had already been using.
The problem is, if you DON'T want to sync with this computer, you don't get a choice - you can't go in to manage your music, for instance, without syncing apps.  In addition, as far as I can tell, you can't have it sync with another computer (or different iTunes library) without completely wiping the device and losing all your data, have to reload all your apps, arrange them on home screens and folders, etc.
So - when it's first asking if you want to set it up as a new device or restore from a backup, it should also give you a third chocie of "don't sync with this computer".  However, that doesn't solve my problem, since I'm already syncing with an iTunes library.
The way I use iTunes sync, I have several devices all syncing (apps only) to the same iTunes library - this way, I only download new or updated apps once, sync that device first, then later ones pick up the updates (and manually add new ones, I don't have it "Automatically install new apps", as I often have apps that are only on one device).  With iOS7, I want to put it on only one of my devices initially, and update apps only on that one, so I need to switch it to sync to a different iTunes library so that the other devices won't pick up the updated apps when they sync.
There's no setting to un-pair a device so it can be connected to an iTunes library as if it had never been synced before.  If you connect it to a different iTunes library, you can still transfer songs, back it up, transfer purchases, remove, install and update apps.  You can even tell it to sync other things (Contacts, Bookmarks, didn't explore that thoroughly as I don't sync anything but apps).  In other words, you can do EVERYTHING you could do with the Sync button, except that you have to do them manually (and find all the updated apps in your library to be sent to the device).  Pressing Sync doesn't give an error, it just goes through 3 steps, very fast, and does nothing (unless you've turned on some of the other sync options).
So, as a work-around (a really stupid work-around, it's absolutely dumb to have to do a full restore in order to change ONE little setting, and restoring from backup doesn't always restore everything, there are some apps which are poorly designed), what would I need to modify in the backup to un-pair it, remove the iTunes Library ID or whatever it is so that connecting it to iTunes will think it has never been synced to iTunes before?  I know how to find specific files in the backup, I just don't know which one and which value to change.
Or is there some way I'm missing to un-pair a device from an iTunes library, other than a full reset (which loses all your data)?

    Hi LayzeeBird
    Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums
You have to remember and enter the correct password that you have set in your device, By no other mean you can access or reset the device password . If you fail your device will initate a wipe process deleting all data within your device. I think you might have a mixture of different characters in your password, and you are unable to enter those on the BlackBerry  keyboard. For example , if your password is
      Lay123
    And you enter L > a > y > alt > 1 > 2 > 3
     the actual result will be
    Lay1er
    You must enter
    L > a > y > alt > 1 > alt > 2 > alt > 3
to get Lay123 on your device.
So, while on the BlackBerry  keyboard you think you are typing Lay123, you are actually typing Lay1er
Please think carefully and try to enter it again correctly . If you fail in this process and if you have a backup of your device then after a wipe you can restore it.
    Good luck.

  • How to reset the response status and response header

    Dear Masters
Actually we are using NTLM Authentication process to get the system login id for our web application. The problem which I am getting is after running the NTLM Authentication Code I am not able to call the action class. It is telling 400 Server error bad request. I am using Struts Dispatch Action Class. In Dispatch Action I will be passing a name (eg. method) as a parameter in struts-config.xml file and using that parameter I will be calling the respective method in the Action class. The problem which I am facing is after running the authentication code I am not able to fire the action class. It is telling the error in the console as "parameter named method is not found". Actually in NTLM Authentication code they are setiing the response status to www-authenticate,NTLM. If I reset the response status back to the normal form I think i will be able to fire the action class. Please give me a suggestion on how to reset the response status and response header back to the normal form. Any solution to this is appreciated. Please respond your reply as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

  • How to reset status in JSPM for component modified by NWDI

    Hello,
We have a E-Commerce landscape connected to NWDI. One of the standard software components was initially modified by the developers through NWDI. Later on, the component was excluded from deployment. Now, when we try to update the component through JSPM, it shows that "local version modified by NWDI" which would prevent JSPM from updating the component. Similarly, as the component has been excluded from deployment in CMS, it cannot be updated through CMS also. We donot need any of the initial changes made to the component.
Is there anyway to reset the status of the component so that we can update it using JSPM?
    thanks
    Vipin

I have just resolved this problem and found a way to do this.  For full details, have a look at my other thread "'Reset to original' for previously modified SC, or remove NWDI control".  It's not that the ability was taken away from JSPM, as I had thought, but that I had leftover traces of old deleted tracks remembered in the BC_CMSRTS table on the runtime portal system in question.

  • How to show network status in top toolbar?

how to show network status in top toolbar? Network preferences is there, but network status has disappeared on last reset of Airport Express, but may not be connected. Thanks in advance for practical help

Interestingly, in my experience, using the method described above of unchecking the "Show Connected Servers" box in the Finder Preferences makes no difference in what I can put in the sidebar. I was able to move a sub-folder of a shared disk to the Favorites section of the Finder Sidebar, but nothing else. (i.e. I could not add the shard disk itself to the sidebar – either to the devices, favorites, or any other section, and I could only add a subfolder of the shared disk to the favorites section – not to the devices section or any other section). This was the same whether I had "Show Connected Servers" checked or not.
I'm running OS X Mavericks, and the setup I have is with a previous generation Time Capsule (i.e. the short, square kind that you could buy before the most recent taller variety came out last year), with a LaCie 3 TB USB 3.0 external drive plugged into the USB port of the Time Capsule. I'm then accessing this network drive over WiFi. The differences in what I'm seeing may be due to some change they made in the way Mavericks handles these setups.
I could also just be misunderstanding what you're saying, but I thought I'd add this in case anyone else gets similar results so that they'd know they're not alone. Let me know if I'm missing something here.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

  • Can i reset nidaq status codes, after +10846 code?

(sorry for my english) I use nidaq with hard real-time acquisistion in win2000, in double-buffered mode. Sometimes, my application, don't read the halfbuffer and 10846 code (is plus, is a warning) occur. After, every check of DAQ_DB_HalfReady return 10846 code, and i can't see if another failure in read occur. How can i reset the status code? Thanks, Piero.

Search the Knowledge Base for the document titled "What Is the Difference between Data Acquisition Errors -10845 and -10846?" It will explain what the error is and how to correct it.
The status code is updated and returned after each function call in NI-DAQ. There is no function call to go in and clear the error condition in the DAQ device (this is an eror in the software buffer anyway, not the hardware, so NI-DAQ may actually be generating it, not a status bit on the card). If subsequent functions generate an error (or message) then you can ignore it or write a wrapper for whatever error handling routines you are using to clear the value of the status variable. Error handling is something you should handle in software; but, most people use the error handler in th

  • PM order for set/reset  user status

I have one requriement like this I need to update the user status for  many operations  of single PM order at a time when user sets or resets the status. Kindly let me know is there any function module or any bapi for this or can you suggest me how to proceed with the further actions to handle this.
thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Jaya,
Before i tell you the FM, there is something u must know about changing the user statuses in PM.
User statuses are sequential in nature. Eg, if current user status is 15 and you want to set the new status to 30, you must set it to 20, then 25 and then finally 30.
For this you must first fetch all the valid statuses for the PM order depending on its status profile.
Next, call the following FM repeatedly each time passing the next status number in sequence until you reach the desired status number:
    'STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN'.
    Hope this is helpful.
    Thanks,

    Hi Experts,
Can anyone please let me know how to delete the datamart status of the request in DSO?
I tried doing it by clicking on the datamart status icon in the DSO, but notthing is happening for me (i am not getting the further popup where i can confirm to delete the datamart). Is there any other way to delete the datamart of the request in DSO?
Appreciate your time on this. waiting eagerly for reply on this.
    Regards,
    Saravanan

    Hi All,
Somehow i activated the datatarget (which is getting data from my DSO) and updaterule for the datatarget through standard SAP program. I tried deleating the datamart status after activation and i am success this time. But it still shows the datamart status symbol in the DSO for the particular request.
I am wondering why the datamart status in DSO is still showing eventhough i deleated the same!!!
But i can able to upadate the data from DSO to further datatargets.
Thanks a lot for all for your quick reply on this post.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
     Cheers, Tom
