How to reset music in Itunes
I formatted my laptop and downloaded Itunes again. Itunes asked if I wanted media to be obtained from my laptop. I said yes but forgot that I had my external memory connected. It copied two up to four times the same songs and don't know how to get rid of them without selecting one by one and deleting. My first thought was to reinstall Itunes but the music continues there. How do I have Itunes to look for the music again like if it was the first time installing it in a computer?

Use File > Add Folder to Library, and point it to My Music or whatever folder(s) have your music.

How to download music into itunes
Hii,
can anyone tell me how to download music into itunes, the present version?Buy the music from iTunes and it downloads automatically.
There is no other way to download content into iTunes.
Importing music into iTunes is different. Is that maybe what you intended to ask?
If so, go to File > Add File/Folder to iTunes. -

How to reset password without iTunes ?
Need to reset password without iTunes. The laptop that had it was damaged and inaccessible.
Only if:
If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone and use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.
Otherwise you need a computer with iTunes and an internet connection
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
Drive crashed-have new hard drive, how to load music so Itunes can find it?
My system crashed, had everything backed up on an external. I am using an I: drive (it is a different and larger hard drive), vs. the original C: drive that crashed. What is the best way to load back my music so Itunes can recognize the songs and playlists. I have the most recent I tunes's library and music library saved. Is there another file that stores the original addresses to the songs? They are mostly mp3 files.
When I loaded the songs, I can only individually point to the new song. Do I have to copy the songs back to the C drive and then phsically move? Or can I somehow point it to my new my music folder? I have over 10,000 songs and quite a few playlists, so I don't want to do it manually.Loop
Maybe:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Then try restoring on another computer.
Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

How to transfer music in itunes library to micro sd for android phone
Good Afternoon All:
I am attempting to transfer my music from my itunes to my micro sd card that is in my android phone. I am unsure of how to do this and have looked through most of the program files for the actual mp3/4 files. Does anyone know how to transfer your music from itunes to a micro SD card? Here are the steps on how to put music on your android without having to download anything.
1. Plug in your phone into your computer
2. Go to the folder with all of your phones files
3. Click on the one that says "Media" and create a new folder in it named "Audio"
4. After that all you need to do is go to your iTunes music folder and drag and drop your music in to your phone folder
5. When you're done adding music go back to your phone folder and move all of the music into the audio file you created earlier.
Good luck and I hopes this helps. Also you may want to create the folder and put just one song in the file and unplug your phone to see if it works. If you need more help or have questions refer to this link:

This is the manual for the 4th gen shuffle
http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iPod_shuffle_4thgen_User_Guide.pdf
which is available through the manuals web page on Apple Support
http://support.apple.com/manuals/
First, you should download and install the latest version of iTunes, from here
http://www.apple.com/itunes/
Information about using iTunes with your shuffle is in Chapter 3 (seems like that should be Chapter 1, but hey, I didn't write the manual ).
You can come back with any specific questions, if the manual does not answer them... -

How to input music to iTunes at 432Hz
Can anyone suggest how I can input files into iTunes at 432Hz rather than getting the default rate of 440Hz? There does not appear to be any setting change that achieves this.
regards
PeterPeter,
When you add music to iTunes, the pitch does not change. iTunes will reproduce the music as it was recorded and encoded. -
Ok. I buy a song NOT from itunes and have it on my computer. I have it in the "my music" folder - how do I get it into itunes easily?
Thanks!Open itunes, click "Help".
Type "importing music" into the search bar.

Since updating to iOS 7.0.4 I've getting a prompt "this accessory may not be supported" after a few minutes charging. Charging then stops and I've unplug the cable and reconnect, then hopefully get another 5 minutes before the message appears again.
