How to reset pending iCloud updates?

I was a happy iCloud user until last night. I edited a Keynote presentation on my Mac and uploaded it to iCloud.com overwriting an existing presentation with the same name. Now Keynote ot my iPad shows the presentation as pending and won't sync with iCloud anymore. I tried turning Documents in the Cloud off and on again with no success. I've deleted Keynote from the iPad several times and each time I was getting message that there are pending updates that would be lost. After each reinstall of Keynote, running it for the first time I am getting a grayed out presentation icon with a progress indicator that stays empty and no presentations are downloaded from iCloud. I can create other presentations but they don't get synced to the cloud (the Up arrow in the upper right corner of the new presentations just stays there forever) and the grayed one stays there.
What should I do to reset and get the iCloud syncing working again?

OK, problem solved. As I had suspected the problem laid in iOS itself. I did a full reset (settings + content) and then installed Keynote. Now iCloud sync works like charm. I intentionally did not restore my iPad from backup but had it set up as a new device.

Making a new Apple ID is not a good idea, since you have to reset the password for that Apple ID anyway. All of your purchases are tied to the Apple ID that the iCloud account was created under. So, you have to retrieve the password for that Apple ID in order to sign into iCloud anyway.
Go to Manage your Apple ID, and click on the Reset Password option (Apple - My Apple ID). Sign on with the Apple ID that the iCloud account was created under, and answer the security questions. If you do not remember the answers to the Security Questions, contact Apple Support to have them reset:

If you still have access to your old email address, do the following:
Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the pimary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should then be able to turn off Find My iPhone with your password. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back and change your primary email address and iCloud ID back to the way it was. You will then be able to go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current ID and password to reconnect to your iCloud account.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to get them to reset the password for it so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You will have to prove your identity to them in order to do so. You can either contact iTunes support for assistance with this (https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html), or contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

You just need the single event structure with the right cases. Use the Timeout case to get your new values and find the average (set the timeout to 100ms and get rid of the Wait (ms) function). Keep the sum and the number of items in shift registers. Wire these value through each event case. In the Control:Value Change event, just set the values back to 0. Then add a Stop Button Value Change event to stop your program.

How to reset client Software Update to point to Apple Update Servers?

Hi folks
I've been messing around with Leopard Server over the last few months, and as part of that, swupdate server in that as well.
I made the mistake of pointing my laptop at it, which is Snow Leopard 10.6.0 - only to later find that Leopard 10.5 server can't server 10.6 updates as it doesn't catalog correctly.
So, I've backed out my changes to the com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist file using defaults.
The system version (/Library/Preferences) file now reads:
grolsch:~ wrkadmin$ defaults read /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate
LastAttemptDate = "2009-11-13 22:19:25 +0000";
LastResultCode = 100;
The user version (~/Library/Preferences) reads:
grolsch:~ wrkadmin$ defaults read com.apple.SoftwareUpdate
WebKitDefaultFontSize = 11;
WebKitStandardFont = "Lucida Grande";
So, I've removed all the references to my attempted swupdate server, by ensuring no references of "CatalogURL" exist in either file.
I've also quadrouple checked that there's no managed settings enforced from Workgroup Manager as part of Open Directory on the same Leopard server, and there's definitely nothing enabled.
I've rebooted several times, I've restored the original plist file from before I made the changes to point to my local swupdate server, and I've even deleted the ** com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist file. To no avail.
Everytime I launch Software Update on my laptop, it's still pointing to the internal server, and it says the local server isn't responding.
I've done this backout on Leopard (10.5) machines with NO problem, but on Snow Leopard, it appears that the software update server is possibly held somewhere else, but I'm jiggered if I can find it.
Can anyone point out the schoolboy error that I've missed somewhere please??

Make sure you're not bound to any directory server first. In 10.6 this would be accessed via the Accounts Preferences Pane > Login Options > Network Account Server > Join > Remove any LDAP Server entry. For 10.5 you use Directory Utility in /Applications/Utilities. For 10.4 use Directory Access in /Applications/Utilities. Next launch Terminal and issue these commands
sudo -s
Provide the local admin password when prompted. If you've not set a password set one in the Account Preferences Pane. You won't see the password being typed in Terminal as there's no echo. Follow this with these commands:
rm -R -v /Library/Managed\ Preferences
rm -R -v /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
reboot now
On successful reboot and login you should be OK?

You will wait for the rest of your life. You need to fix it; no one else will. To turn off "Find my iPhone" and its associated Activation Lock you need the Apple ID and password that were used to turn it on. If you know the Apple ID you can contact Apple Account Security and have them reset the password (after you prove you are the rightful owner of that Apple ID). see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699.
If you don't know the Apple ID the phone is permanently unusable.

Activation Lock is a new security feature in iOS 7. There is no workaround.
Until the original owner removes the Activation Lock, the iPhone is useless.
