How to resize animated gif without losing animation?
I created a wee animated gif a while ago but deleted the original Photoshop file (CS3). I need to resize the gif from 100px to 70px for an avatar. When I've changed the image size in Photoshop (it doesn't show the animation frames), it removes all animation. Is there a way around this?

You can infact use Adobe Macromedia Flash to resize your Gif Image.
Import your Gif image into Flash and then you can try to resize and export the file as GIF.
Its kinda weird but it works .

Hello I have an image that I am trying to use as an email. Right now it is 2108 pixels. And for an email it should be 600 px. I created this image in illustrator as vectors and type.
Whenever I go into image size and i change it to be 600 pixels it gets extremely blurry. I have also tried converting this to a smart object... doesnt work. How do I resize my large image to be smaller without losing quality???here is an example sceenshot of the opening dialog (.ai opened directly in Photoshop)
your illustrator vector should be rastered sharp at 100% actual Pixels in Photoshop
that is where you want to evaluate sharpness in Photoshop...
then File> Save for Web & Devices (and drag that saved file icon into an open web browser)

No, I don't think so. for that, you'd probably have to import your animation using the Video to Layers option, resize, then rebuild the animation and export it.

I've tried two images, the results were:
Image 1
Jpg, original file size 923KB, dimensions 848px x 279px.
After resizing to 848px x 180px with 72dpi, the file size decreased to 164KB.
Image 2
Jpg, original file size 809KB, dimensions 1200px x 1800px.
After resizing to 668px x 722px with 72dpi, the file size decreased to 307KB.
So, there seems to be a fair file size loss - is this to be expected? -
Resize A Image Without Losing Quality
I have been reading about how to best resize image in PS CS4/CS5. I've read that you should increase the size of a image in increments and I’ve also read that you should resize using the bicubic smoother setting in PS.
The image that I would like to resize is 5W x 7H and resolution of 150. I would like to print this image at 30W x 40H on a HP Designjet 5500ps.
Any recommendation on how I should go about resizing the image without losing quality?No matter which method you used, scaling up a photo 5 times is going to look very good.
There are some software that purports to scale up an image without blurry edges. Not sure how well they work.
If you can obtain the original image and rescan it at a higher resolution that would work better.
Or, if the photo can be easily recreated as a vector drawing, then do that with illustrator and print it out large.
Or if you or someone you know is a great artist, then scale up the photo in photoshop (which would become blurry), then hand correct the edges to make them sharp. This requires drawing ability. -

Why are animated gifs not displaying animations in the preview?
My coworkers and I are not seeing a animation in the preview pane in Adobe Bridge CS6 even when clicking the play button in the preview window. However, we do see a graphic of the first frame and one person sees 1 frame when clicking play and one other frame and then the animation stops, however, that is not the complete animation.
I'm using Windows 7 32 bit
My coworkers are using a mac.
One coworker has apple OS Mountain Lion with a Intel Quad-Core Xeon – 64 bit system.
Is this fixable or in the works as a patch? Otherwise we have to open these docs in a browser in order to view them properly.I've just come to the realization that some animated gifs do play fine and others do not. A coworker of mine suggests that if it's an animation made via Adobe Photoshop, it'll work in bridge but will not if it's made using something else.

How can i transfer videos without losing the sound to my iPhone 3G?

I have bought my iPhone 3G yesterday. I have found out how to transfer music from iTunes however i can't transfer videos. I'm selecting the videos i want to transfer on the videos tab after i chose my iphone from the side menu and pressing apply. iTunes says that its syncing my iphone but it doesnt transfer the videos.
Lately i have found out a function on the advanced menu for movies as "create iphone or ipod version". When i used that it transfered that video to my iPhone however the sound was completely lost besides that action takes too much time(around 10 mins for a 3 min video and i have a pretty strong computer).
How can i transfer videos without losing the sound to my iPhone 3G?One thing I'd recommend is that you make sure the video/audio you're trying to transfer falls within the guidelines listed in the 'Video' section here:

What's most likely happening is that the file is not converted as such so when you try to transfer it, it's wanting to convert it but is unable to for any number of reasons.
There's software out there that might make this easier for you but I can't recommend anything specifically. -

Settings>Store (or iTunes & App Stores if you are running iOS6)>Apple ID. Tap your son's ID and sign out. Sign in with your ID and password.
You shouldn't lose the music, but if you try to update any apps that you bought with the family ID, you will have to use that password that is linked with that ID in order to update.
Avoid downloading past purchased content with the old ID if you can since you will associate the iPad with the old ID for 90 days and you will lock yourself out of your own, new ID for that period of time. Read more about associated devices in iTunes here.
