I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. How I fixed my short battery life on iPhone 5, and ActiveSync problems at the same time.

For anyone still having activesync or battery problems I have a potential fix:
I've had two issues lately.
First, my battery life was draining at an insane rate. iPhone5 lasted about 3-4 hours before absolutely dead from a full charge. LTE disabled, WiFi disabled, icloud turned off...about as power efficient as I could make it, and I was hardly using it at all. I was losing 1% batt every 2-4 minutes.
I solved this problem by removing my work account (Exchange Activesync) from my mail accounts. Obviously I couldn't stay like that for very long, so after confirming it stemmed the battery issue, I tried to add it back. Did a bunch of different methods and tests, and what ended up working for me was:
Remove ALL accounts (Had Exchange, gmail, icloud)
hard reset the phone.
After it came back up, I reset the Network Settings just for good measure.
In Mail control panel, make sure "Default Account" doesn't have an old mail account listed (option may be not even present if you've removed all accounts, but I was having issues earlier where even though I'd removed accounts, it kept listing them in the Default Account/Calendar sections
Add the Account
Open Mail
It actually took a min or two to start populating data, I didn't think it had worked, so give it a few minutes.
My battery life issue seems to be fixed, and my ActiveSync account works again. I've been off the charge for about 4h 40m now, and battery is at 90%, and that's with moderate usage on LTE.
Hopefully this helps out anyone having similar issues. For what it's worth, I removed/readded my Exchange account several times and it never worked until I had removed all accounts (my iCloud account was the last one to be removed), so if possible, just remove everything. I had already restored, DFU'd, and tried several other steps. This was what worked for me.
I have NOT added my iCloud account back yet, but will be doing this now to see if any issues reappear.

I am experiencng rapid battery drain as well. Before checking the forums I have closed apps running in background, turned off LTE, turned off location services, turned off wi-if & turned off Bluetooth...my battery drained to 53% in 3 1/2 hours.
This is my 1st personal iDevice so I do not understand some of the verbiage.

New Discussion - Not sure how to resolve problem

Due to security of Apple went and bought a iMAC. Unfortunately I do not even know of anyone who has one - employer does not use - nor accountant daughter or teacher son - I even went to the local college to find if they had a Apple class - so my problems with the swirly wheel are doubled as I do not know most of the referral components. This wheel seemed more prevalent after I started playing Rummikub - which for the last few months I couldn't even download - it just froze - - I am at a loss - - I did pay for the three year assistance - maybe that is the next step -

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free Disk space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab of Activity Monitor, are there a lot of Pageouts?

How to resolve problems sending mail!

I have had problems sending any mail since I downloaded 10.4.10. I spent several hours reading about users with similar problems and the consensus seems to be that the OS was to blame. I had tried all the fixes everyone had suggested, but all to no avail. I could receive mail but I could not send any mail and my isp claimed that they were not blocking anything. So I downloaded 10.4.11 (around 75mb) and suddenly _+*everything works fine*+_. So my advice is download the update, revert to all your original settings before you had the problem, and see if it works. Good luck and tell me if it works for you!

You will require to Change the Maintenance system for the Object.
Follow below steps:
1) Go to Transaction SE03
2) Select the option "Object Directory" -> "Change Object Directory Entries of Objects in a Request"
3) Put the details for Package, person Responsible and original system of the Object
Change the system and save the entry. This activity will not generate the TR.

Did the battery problem just start suddenly a week ago or has it progressively worsened over time? It could be time for a new battery.
Did you install any new software or do an update just before this started?

Sorry, but the only reliable diagnostics are Apple's. You would have to take it in to an Apple Store for them to diagnose it. Any 3rd party battery test or stats app is not going to help, as Apple will not do anything anyway without doing their own tests.
Is it doing something obvious that makes you think the battery is faulty? I know my old iPhone 3Gs still had plenty of useable battery life after 3 years, as did my iPhone 4.
